Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I know your daughter is older now, but I was reading your question re: her spitting up out her nose. My daughter is 4 weeks and does it all the time!! Did your daughter eventually grow out of it? I am breastfeeding and it seems like she just sucks to comfort herself and she get so full and explodes! I feel so bad for her. Were you breast or formula feeding? I wonder if it matters..? Thanks :)

Not sure if you already figured it out or not, but your baby could be getting too much formula at a time or too much air and that is what's causing her to spit up so much. Try switching to a nipple with a slow flow or try a different brand. Also try to burp her more often, maybe every ounce or even every half ounce if too much air is the problem.

An epidural and spinal are different. They have two different kinds of narcotics in them as well. An epidural takes a longer while to set in while a spinal is almost immediate. Spinals are normally given to C-Section patients due to the fact that they are quick setting and epidurals take about 30 minutes. they both do the same thing pretty much but they arent really the same yanno?

Angbaby - Saturday, 3 May
As far as I know a spinal block has a duration of about 2 hours and then wears off, usually given for c-sections. Epidural, there is a constant flow of drug through a drip and can be topped up whenever needed-usually better for natural delivery, also can control how much is needed so that if you would like feeling back whilest pushing they diminish the dose. There are side effects to epidural such as headaches, lowers blood pressure, shivering, or long term backpain. I have had 2 epidurals and both went very well. Unfortunaltely you wont know if it agrees with you or not until you try. It should only be given after 4 cm dilation as it can slow the labour. Hope all goes well, good luck

Are you naming your daughter Amiya? That's the name we finally decided on. However, we're gonna spell it Amaya. I actually prefer it spelled Amiya but I named my son so i'm letting hubby do the naming this time. Congrats and good luck!

hello! Thanks for your comment. my only thing is We don't have sex because It is so uncomfy! I had labor stopped twice, Im on Meds at home if I have more than 5 contractions an hour.
Only the past two days When I get a bh I have pressure down there. Can this be baby's head bearing down and if so, can it make me dialate more than 1 which I have been for three weeks?

saraison - Thursday, 21 Feb
on your question about your due date, my Dr said something similar at my ultrasound, I was measuring a few days ahead. but she told me that they won't change a due date based on just a couple days. she told me that the measurement from the first day of your last period is the best. hope that helps you.

mommykris - Thursday, 7 Feb
i have felt it a couple of times when my baby has been kicking me there...also feeling a lot of pressure down there and i can't bend over...i think it's when his head is turned down. good luck and will you post if you find something out??

lulu81usc - Wednesday, 6 Feb
I get it too. If its a weird (not painful) tightening feeling feeling then I know exactly what you are talking about. I didn't know if that was those little Braxton Hicks or what. Let me know when you find out. I have felt them for a couple of months.

heathernicole - Wednesday, 6 Feb
about the feeling in your cervix i am pretty sure that the baby kicks it. i have the same feeling i havent talked to my doctor yet about it. But the other night me and my boyfriend were in the middle of expressing our love and the baby kicked his ya know. he freaked out..lol i go to the doctor soon and i am gonna make sure it is nothing, but i have talked to other women and they said it was normal and the baby does do that sometimes

bellakimmie - Wednesday, 6 Feb
The cramping down in your lower belly is totally normal and will become more and more uncompfortable as your pregnancy continues. It's just everything starting to prepare for the birth. It may also be accompanied by false contractions, this will feel really tight across your belly.....oh the joys of pregnancy. :)
