Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Oh sorry I do that stuff around your stage too (week 37) and so far 3 babies were born almost 41 weeks one was almost 40. But you could be very different and go in the next hour-it's very unpredictable! I had friends who saw and felt nothing, no dilation (I was also 3cm dilated with my 1st for 3 weeks) and still go into labor earlier and quicker than me.

If your contractions stay conistent and get harder to handle, you're close. If they checked you the brown blood could be from that. OB told me mucous plug replenishes itself so you could (not everyone does but I do) lose parts of it over a few weeks. Personally (everybody is diff) when I see pink or brown blood, aside from intercourse or doc chck, I am within about 24 hours of delivery.

I just had my 18wk scan today, found out we are having a BIG healthy baby boy (he's 8oz already!), but I also was told I have a partial placenta previa. So, I have to go for another ultrasound in a month to see if it resolves itself. I havent had any bleeding, so wouldn't have know except for the ultrasound. Dr. just said to take it easy and no hanky panky - boy is my hubby cranky! Anyhow, hang in there...it should resolve itself as our uteruses grow.

My Sister had it a few weeks ago. She went to the er at Eighteen weekd for heavy bleeding and they told her she had complete placenta previa and it was unlikely to resolve. They even said she would deliver at 25 weeks. One week later she went in for a scan and it was fixed! So I really think it will work its self out. We were all devistated for the week we were in waiting for no reason. I would just hang in there and try not to worry!

Hey Amna, I also have marginal placenta previa. I went to the ER on Jan. 2nd beacuse of heavy bleeding. I've pretty much bled everyday until Wednesday. They say as your uterus grows it'll carry your placenta up and out of the way of the cervix. Hang in there... have you talked to your doctor about it yet?

bethanne - Monday, 28 Jan
I had marginal placenta previa at 15 weeks and by 17 weeks it was gone! So don't worry, 90% of the time it will correct its self!

I have gained 9 lbs. I actually had a women at work ask me if I was gaining weight. I said 'no, I'm pregnant.' But I am definitely packing on the pounds. :)

Caracaya - Thursday, 20 Dec
I have gained two pounds so far. I don't cook either, but I eat lots of salads, fresh veggies with dip, and fresh fruit. I have a little chocolate every now and then, but otherwise I try to eat as healthy as possible. Remember, if you eat a lot of junk food your baby won't get enough nutrition. Good luck to you :)
