Hey Guys! My name is Ashley and I am 20 years old. I live in eastern NC with my partner, Stephen, and my two year old daughter, Savannah. I found out I was pregnant in October but I can't even remember the day..that's terrible! I had alot of mixed feelings at first...wondering how it would fit in with our finances kinda tight right now...but after I stopped worrying myself, I realized I was blessed with a gift from God, and I know He will be there every minute to help and guide me in the right direction. I am having a little boy this time and I am so excited!! At this point, I don't think I will be having anymore..but I better not say never again quite yet...Well, more about the baby. My first doctors appoitment was when I was around 14 weeks..(had to wait for my insurance to come through).. everything looked great there but before that I had already been the the ER once or twice. I would have these attacks that at first I thought were panic attacks. I would get really hot and sweaty..heart would start racing and my vision would get blurry. The ER of course never helps, so they said it was my nerves...but later on found out it was just a pregnancy thing..something to do with the blood pressure and what not. At around 23 weeks had to go to the ER because I was having contractions every 2-3 minutes and seemed to be getting worse. I had to get 2 shots to stop them and I haven't had many at all since them so I am blessed. Now here at 26 weeks just laying back and enjoying the pregnancy. I know I am ready for him to be here in a way but once he's out he's not going back in...haha. I love feeling his movements and hiccups. Only 2 months to go so I hope it will be smooth sailing here on out..
