Well..... I am pregnant with my first baby!!! I am hoping for a girl, although I would be happy with a boy as well!! My pregnancy has been rather uneventful so far... No sickness or anything like that- aside from sore boobs and being tired at first, I really haven't had any symptoms. Tomorrow will be my 3rd doctor appointment so I am hoping to hear a heartbeat!!!

Well I am really starting to show now!!! I am really liking that because I haven't heard the heartbeat or felt any movement yet... Any day now right?!!! I bought some maternity clothes, what a wonderful thing. They are so comfy and I love them all!!!! I will be having an ultrasound on Monday, hoping to find out what i'm having!!!!

Had an ultrasound on Monday- which was awesome!! I had to wait to find out if it is a boy or girl from my doctor- so hopefully she will have those results for me tomorrow!! I'm going nuts here waiting to find out!!! 07/19/07 Oh man!! I just called my doctor to get the results (boy or girl) and she is on holidays until the 31st! I'm going bonkers!! On a nicer note, I finally felt this little babe moving!! Just from all the other mom to be's descriptions, I know that is what I was feeling!!! Can't wait to feel it again!!! 07/20/07 Well it's a girl!!!I went w/ my friend for her 3d ultrasound today, and her baby was facing her back so they couldn't get a good shot... so I asked if she could tell me what I was having, and she did!!!! I also got a really cool picture!! My poor friend though- couldn't get a single shot, she has to go back tomorrow!!!! Birth Story December 19, 2007 I started Having pains @ 3:30 in the morning, woke up went to the bathroom and my water broke, although I wasn't sure if it had broken or if I just peed a bit... I went back to bed... I started having really bad pains around 8:30, but I wasn't sure if it really was labor and I didn't want to go to the hospital unless I was sure. I waited until 10:00 a.m. and actually called my best friend Sarena, because she always keeps me calm and knows what to say... Brian knew I was probably in labor, and was waiting for me to call him, I told him he could come after I got my epidural because he was soooo freaked out! I got checked in and all settled at the hospital. Labor wasn't nearly as painful as I had expected, it was awful, I did take the epidural @ 2:00 p.m. (5 cm) but I really did think it would be worse. Anyways... taking the epidural did slow down my labor, but I felt nothing... it was painless and wonderful! I really enjoyed my day and wouldn't have without that epidural!!! At 9 p.m. I was checked and was ready to push (which surprised me because I felt nothing) My contractions were 7-9 minutes apart though, so they gave me medicine to make them closer together... they really never did get much closer together it took an hour but then she was finally out @ 10:25 p.m. It really was the best day of my life!!!
