We went to the dr today and guess what... IT'S A BOY!!! or at least the dr. is pretty sure it is. i couldn't be more excited! jeffery is a little sad because he really wanted a little girl, but he is thrilled that our little one is healthy and strong. the baby was literally bouncing off the walls today when we had our u/s.

Feb 29, 2008:

i'm 16 weeks today and I FELT KICKS THIS MORNING!!!! around 5:30 in the morning to be exact haha! that is the best feeling in the world... but i haven't felt them again all day. i go back to the dr. on thursday march 6, to have some blood tests done, and then hopefully we will find out the sex of the baby. i'm thinking it's a girl. i am so sure i feel like going out and buying a bunch of pink. boy am i going to laugh if they tell me it's a boy. we'll be happy with either, but jeffery is really hoping it's a girl.

Feb. 12, 2008:

i'm in week 13. i go to the dr. this thursday and i am very excited!!! i'm really hoping the baby will open it's legs to we can find out the sex, but i'm not going to get my hopes up. my energy level has improved a bit, but i'm still not feeling that great, and i'm finding it real difficult to get up for classes. My belly is starting to poke out a bit more this week. i think i'm going to have to switich over to maternity clothes soon, my regular ones just don't fit anymore, especially the shirts. They are all too short so my belly sticks out the bottom, and if they are long enough in the waste still, they are too tight in the chest. haha. also, i've been struggling with acne on my chest adn face lately (i never had problems with it in my teen years, but now that i'm pregnant... BOOM it's here). does anyone have any suggestions for a soap that works to clear it that is also safe to use when pregnant?

Hey Everyone!!! I am 10 weeks pregnant (I found out Dec. 8) and am very excited. My fiance Jeffery and I have been together for a little over 6 years. We weren't planning on getting pregnant until after we got married, but surprise surprise, we ended up getting pregnant anyway. Last wednesday I got to hear the baby's heartbeat 180 beats/ min at 9 weeks. It was amazing! It made ths whole pregnancy even more real. I am not really showing yet, but I have gained enough weight that my clothes don't really fit anymore. It's kind of annoying because I'm too small for maternity clothes and too big for regular ones. Is anyone else having this problem? haha. I guess I'll just have to stick with sweatpants for a while
