April 23,2008...The girl's are here!!

Girls and Mom are doing great and all three should be going home togther on Saturday.

Hi! My name is Amy. I was due to have a baby boy on 12/21/07, but he was very ill. He had a cystic hygroma and severe edema. He had fluid around his head, chest, and down his spine. I found out that his biopsy test came back positive for Down's Syndrome. I saw three specialists. They all said I would not carry to term. The last specialist I saw gave him a 0% chance of surviving. The fluid build-up would be too hard on his organs and eventually cause his demise. I had a D&C on 6/21/07. My son, Harrison(8) is coming around. He was first in denial. Now he wants my husband and I to wrestle again to have another baby and I have no idea where he gets that from?!? We will try again as soon as it is safe. Thank You to all of you that have sent your prayers and blessings. ..... To my baby boy I wish you happiness and a pain free eternity. I wanted to hold you so bad, but now God is holding you tight. You are in a better place:) There will not be a day that goes by that I do not think of you. You will forever be in my heart!!

October 11, 2007: I found out at my 10 week US that I am having identical twins. Both babies are measuring 9 weeks, 6 days!!!!

Baby A --- HB = 190

Baby B --- HB = 185

October 25, 2007: 2 AMNIOTIC SACS!!!!! 12 weeks 5 days

Baby A --- HB = 175, 11 wks 4 ds, Nuchal 1.5

Baby B --- HB = 175, 11 wks 6 ds, Nuchal 1.7

November 21, 2007....16 weeks 4 days

Baby A --- HB = 162, 15 wks 3ds, 4 oz.

Baby A-- Kennedy-- HB= 159, 32w 6d, 4 pds. 5 oz., 26%

Baby B-- Karsyn-- HB= 137, 33w 1d, 5 pds. 1 oz., 50%

April 3, 2008......34 weeks 5 days..Bio-physical scan

Both girls scored 8/8

April 10, 2008....35 weeks 5 days.. OB appt. and Bio-physical scan

Total weight gain = 12 pounds

Both girl's passed the bio-physical exam

April 17, 2008....36 weeks 5 days..OB appt and growth scan

Total weight gain = 16 pounds

Estimated weight's: (Rough- as my fluid retention made it hard to take measurements on my ultrasound today)

Kennedy....5 pounds 8 ounces

Karsyn....6 pounds 13 ounces

April 18, 2008....36 weeks 6 days

Last day of work...getting closer!!!

April 21, 2008....37 weeks 2 days....Last OB visit

April 22, 2008...3 weeks 3 days...Pre-op at hospital

I do love what I do and I am fortunate to have this job while I am pregnant!! But whoo you are right it is alot. When did your swelling start real bad? I have started staying a lil swollen to the point my shoes are tight but nothing severe yet. I have sever carpal tunnel in my right and moderate in my left so I really understand that I have put it off for a long time but they have told me this year if I do not at least attempt a reconstructive surgery I will loose most everything in my right hand. It is the worst. Always tingly and never strong anymore.

I am not sure if it will be Lilly or Lillian but I have always thought it was a beautiful and sensible name nothing off the wall but not like too old fashioned!!

Hiya!!! We will on the 11th of July it is so exciting!!!! We know A is a boy but not sure about B. I only picked one girls name so far becasue we cannot agree on them yet!!! So if it is a girl she will be Lillian Grace. But I love Tatum James!!!!! I am feeling well just working way to hard!!!! Last week I worked 49 hours and 50 minutes so I will have to slow down soon. Hope you are well:)

Girls are doing great. Theyre 14 wks now. They have slept from 10pm to 6am two nights running so pleased about that. Isla seems to be starting with her teeth tho. She is screaming all the time and has two white blister things on her top gum. I'm sure its way too early tho. Weather here in UK is not very good, cloudy and rainy. We need sun.

Girl, don't talk to me about the Astros... any team is better than the flippin' Mariners. Shoot! It hasn't been worth watching lately. That's okay, I am patiently waiting for football season to start back up again. Karsyn and Kennedy are definitely getting big - they have the sweetest little baby fat... Jackson is FULL of it, from head to toe - gotta make sure you wash each and every little wrinkle, that's for sure. You are lucky that the girls are sleepign so well - maybe it's because they have each other to comfort them. Jack gets up 2x - once around 1:30 and then again around 4:30-5... then by the time I get him back to sleep around 6:30 and fall back asleep - Abigail starts screaching for me to come and get her. We have to gate her room or she will roam the house at all hours - she's quite the little wanderer. So, how did the trip go? Did the girls adjust well to new surroundings? We are headed back to Lake Chelan in August, and I am wondering how Jack will fare, should still be fun. Taylor just finished drivers ed this week - that was a 45 dy program - very time comsuming, but fun. Now all she does is ask if she can drive us everywhere. I let her most of the time, but sometimes it can be annoying. How is Harrison's season going? Is he on a good summer team? Well honey, I love ya and miss talking to you daily - I know how tough it can be to get any spare time, seems like i never have that anymore... just more laundry! xoxoj

Thanks! Her room looks cuter in person. The room is not too big so it's hard to photograph. Alayna has been sleeping through the night for a little while. She goes to bed around 11 pm - 12 am and wakes at about 7am. The boys love her and wait on her hand and foot. Luke climbs on the couch and puts his arms out and says "holt, holt!" He always wants to hold her. Isn't it great having an older child so willing to help out? I've been wanting to take the boys down to Galveston to go to the beach, hopefully I can get my MIL to watch Alayna one Sunday. Do you all have any summer plans? I'm sure your enjoying your twins, do they sleep through the night? Are you in a routine now or is it totally crazy with two?

We are naming him Johnathan Richard, we are still not sure how we are going to spell Johnathan there are so many different names, but that is what my hubby wanted so that is it for now. I am hoping to have the 4d pictures up later. Believe it or not the boys really wanted a sister and were a little upset to find out it was a boy but they talked with their dad and are alot better today, I was actully a little concerend when we left the Dr yesterday but it is going to be fine and they will be very happy with a new little brother.

WERE HAVING A BABY BOY !!!!! The ultrasound was AWESOME, everthing is in its place 10 fingers 10 toes 2 little eyes one little nose, and a STRONG steady heartbeat!!!

i hope to get the pictures up soon, they are so awesome
