welcome to my ttc blog, here is a bit about me.

I am useless with web pages so this page is not likely to get jazzy anytime soon,
I am nearly 30 only 12 days left of being in my 20s aaagggghhh. We have been trying to get preg for 10 months now We have been married for 10 and half years hubby never really wanted kids but i talked him round now he cant wait.
If you have read the comments you will know im having a bit of trouble cus had no af this year but lots of BFN so a bit down at the mo. Going to docs yet again to see if i can have scan to see what is going on. Hope you are having better luck than me. .........watch this space.

oh well af came on 28th march my first one this year, so it was horrible and heavy and painful. im still waiting for scan date to make sure all is clear. flippin hospitals take ages.

finally got scan date 18th april to make sure i am clear down there i certainly hope so cus if my friends have any more kids i will scream

well had scan and no ovarian cycts which is good so it looks like i had a miscarraige but all is clear so hopefully will catch again soon

2/5/2008 Been ttc for 11 months today! hurry up baby!!!!!!!

7/5/08 af a week over due and too nervous to do the test after all the trouble we had i aint even bought a test............

8/5/08 finally bought a test am doin it 2mrw eeeekkkkk!!!

9/5/08 did test BFN say no more

12/5/08 still no af im frustrated now

21/5/08 started spotting slightly so i think af on her way................

22/5/08 af came today finally after 3 week waiting. in 11 days we have been ttc for a whole year

16/6/08 af due in about 4 days. hope this will be our month if not month 13 here we come

6/8/08 af showd up 2 days ago, so entering month 15...this ttc certainly takes time!!!!!

Hi all, I am most likely not going to be around for the rest of the week. We are trying to get to VA to catch a ride to NY for the funeral. We spoke to my FIL this AM and he said the funeral is tomorrow, and we are going to just ride with my SIL, it is safer for all of us and then we will just stay there with her til she returns. So all of you have a good week and a good weekend in case I am not around to talk. Baby Dust to all!

Well ladies, I have been told to wait another month, AF has not shown and my doc says to wait another month, I feel like I have already waited a life time, it is like Ok hurry up and wait! LOL I don't know, they told me to take another HPT. I am so tired of them now!! always Negative! I have not had AF seen May 17th.!

i know it should be out of my system by now but then what else could it be ya know what i mean? thanks i will check it out again that price is not to bad but how come ur only suppose to take it for 2 months? but yea i was told it would take about a year for it to come out of my system to and i was also told it would take about a year to start gettin af back but i got af march of 06 which was 3 months after my last shot and then it was heavier then now but not by much and only go for about 3 days then every year so far on march i have a period but skip april and part of may this year i almost skipped may completely but i spotted one day skipped the next spotted the next one spot both days so should i even consider that my period i am goin to see a doc as soon as we get the stimilus check to try to figure out what is goin on with my damn body but i am so scared what is goin to happen or what the doc will say well anyway take care and talk to ya soon

hey i looked at the site a long time ago but i have since switched computers could u please give me the site u go to. i would love to get some cause i am tired of this crap with my af i think it is acting up like this because i am fat but i have been fat for a longggg time now and my period never did this before but i also think it could be because i was on the depo for soooo long and my body is still not back to its old self after being off depo since dec of 05 well that was my last shot and they last 3 months so by march of 06 i was off of the depo shot and grrrrrr lol i sure hope ur right about me getting pregnant and i am sure u will have a baby some day soon. sometimes when i try to see myself being pregnant or having a baby i cant and not sure why well take care

Oh, how lucky for you to have such great parents. My husbands parents have passed away and mine live out of state, but my brother and sister-in-law live two houses down from us and have volunteered to babysit, so I feel lucky too!! Now, we just need a couple of babies, one for each of us! Good luck and keep me posted and I will do the same.

Sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time. I know how difficult it is after going through similar problems. Have you been to a fertility specialist? I was pregnant twice and suffered two losses and then could not get pregnant again after that. I started seeing a fertility doctor who ran every test under the sun and went on progesterone as well as medication to stimulate my eggs to grow and then a shot to release them each month. It took a while but after working with them and getting my body to where it needed to be I was able to conceive via IUI. I am now in my 24th week of pregnancy. I know that it is very hard but don't give up on your dream. It can happen it just might take a little extra work and some help from a specialist. Explore all of your options. Good luck!

Seems kind of unfair for your husband to make you give up something you want more than anything. I bet the majority of the population can't really afford kids, but when something is that important to you, you make it work. I was actually the one who wanted to wait until the perfect time to have another kid, but my husband said there was no perfect time-things always come up, and I agreed, so here we are ttc our little hearts out for another little one.

I just read your post on the TTC page. I sure hope your DH was just kidding about the cost of living and stopping TTC. If you ask anyone who already has kids, if they had waited until they could afford them, they would never have had any kids. That's just a crazy statement to make, but who knows what goes on inside some mens heads. If you want, read my profile and you will understand where I'm coming from. I am very sad & hurt by what my husband has told me and if he doesn't change his mind, I don't know if we will have a future either. I love him so much, but I can see myself becoming very resentful towards him if he doesn't support me in my wishes to have a child. Sorry for venting, but when I read your post, I just had to respond. I sure hope your month comes soon, baby dust and good luck. ~Tonya

Just read about your thrush. I'm sure you are on antibiotics, but thought I'd share this anyway. You can take a probiotic called acidophilous. It is the same thing that is in yogurt and helps prevent yeast infections which is the same thing that causes thrush. It puts the good bacterias back into balance. It is sold over the counter and safe to take while PG. If you are on antibiotics, it will help prevent a yeast infection.
