Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I really enjoy being on this site and sharing this journey with all of you.

My husband and I have been married just over a year (07/07 was our anniversary) and have gone through a "trial by fire" of sorts. I was diagnosed 5 years ago with PCOS and I figured it was nearly impossible for us to conceive. I am medicated, but that doesn't always fix the problem. So, shortly after the wedding we decided to stop using protection. Imagine my shock and surprise at finding out we were pregnant after only TWO months of trying!

It took a long time for me to get used to the idea and the timing, but I had grown to love that child. Unfortunately I managed to get a rare bacterial infection and wound up losing that baby in December at 17w4d. I was realeased from the hospital on Christmas day 2007. We immediately started trying again. I was so empty from the loss and wanted nothing more than to fill that void with another child. My husband felt the same way. We will never forget dear, sweet Maddie, but it was time to move on and give ourselves something to look forward to.

After going CRAZY with the desire to be pregnant again, I resigned myself to living my old life and trying to enjoy it. After only two months of trying we managed to conceive again. We learned about this miracle on 03/22/08 - exactly three months after losing our daughter.

aww congrats! you lil baby is going to be a big baby soon! I know the exact feeling you had before the ultrasound and tomorrow i have another appointment with my doctor just a regular visit but I am still very nervous. I know I just have to keep my mind positive but I have noticed a change already with my belly! I guess I'm just getting fat quicker this time around cause i know the baby isn't that big yet! LOL so I just have to wait at least 4 more month to say its baby fat hahah...

Thank you :) I am just concerned about starting it up again since I have bene off of it for a few months. I put in a call to my Dr but she herself has been off and on maternity leave, pretty much on call. So i switched Dr's but this new one has not gotten back to me either. I hate waiting around for an answer! but i would think it would be safe to start up on metformin again! hmmm...

hi andante, I have been wanting to write you for a while cause i believe I remember you from a few months ago. I had to have a DNC in december 21, so i just closed that page thinking it would take a while to concive again. but I think is sooo weird how we are both pregnant and due around the same time. I wish you the best & this pregnancy is going to work out this time around for the both of us!. I had my first ultrasound on friday and we got to hear the heart beat I felt sooo much better and I just can't wait to see my lil bundle grow =)

I too am only 6 weeks along, but my jeans are tight, well not really tight, but uncomfortable. I have 2 kids already. My baby book says that if you have been preggers b4, then your body muscles are less tight, so you show quicker.

thanks for popping by my page- i think its Paul Mckenna. I have read his book and listened to the CD but notinging does seem to work the doc wont give me any meds to help as it would harm the baby if i did concieve. good luck with the pregnancy. XOXOX
