i'm glad you're feeding issues have improved. i gave up beans for awhile, which was so hard for me, thinking it was making my baby fussy. then i learned what you did about mother's diet and now i'm back on the beans no problem. thank god!
things are good with us, occasionally she is a little fussy, but its getting better and i can usually calm her. i have been tired, but i guess you just deal with that.

i am thinking about getting back to work in september, just to teach one or two nights a week. i still have 20 lbs to lose and some serious strength training to do, especially for my abs, before i can be back to my performing ability. with a baby its hard to put in the kind of time on my body i need to. it might take me a while to get there. luckily our family's well being does not depend on my income. it is my creative outlet though, so i can't give it up. just being patient with myself now.

i'm glad to hear that you are doing better with the feedings. i'll have to keep some of that in mind as i continue on my own breastfeeding journey. i love broccoli and garlic, so maybe i should be watching that.
so far i am loving being a mom. my baby is so sweet and mild mannered. even though i am really tired, its all worth it when i hold her, look at her, feed her...
been having problems with my dog though. first day home he bit my husband in the face! and he has never been a biter. we are hoping he can adjust and we don't have to do anything rash. i love that dog but not at the expense of safety of the baby.
OH-my favorite vegan cookbooks: veganomicon, vegan with a vengenance. good luck with the cooking.

no baby yet! my midwife is going to break my water in the morning (8 more hours) since i'm a week past due. i'm freaking out!
i'm so sorry to hear about your feeding problems...i wish i knew an answer, or had some advice. i'm probably going to be asking you about that soon. maybe try the vegweb bulletin board or the post punk kitchen bulletin board. i believe they both have threads that deal with feeding and babies.
