I don't really know what to write, I've never been good at these things. I am having a boy in June and I am very excited, his name is Brendan. I'm a Jersey girl born and raised and I will probably die here too. I am having a high risk pregnancy which concerns me but hopefully the baby will be just fine, that is all I care about. This is my first baby and I hope to have more in the future.

I am going to have a colposcopy today which I am nervous about. Other than that I feel pretty good, the baby is moving a lot which I love.

I had the colposcopy and everything was fine, thank goodness

02-25-08

I called the doctor today to find out my latest labwork results. Blood work came back ok, still have some protein in my urine but not enough to affect the baby. I need to follow up with my regular doctor, as long as the baby is fine I am happy.

03-06-08

I went to the doctors on Tuesday and so far I have gained 14lbs which I think is okay. My sugar was high when they did the dip stick in the urine test so I had to have the glucose test done yesterday. Hopefully that test will be okay so I don't have to have the 3hr fasting test done. I heard the baby's heartbeat and he has been moving around a lot so it seems like the baby is fine.

03-18-08

I went to the doctors yesterday and had a 3D ultrasound which I wasn't expecting. The baby weighs about 1.8 pounds, he probably will be small. His foot looked a lot better this time but the doctor is still a little concerned and I will have another ultrasound in May just to check on him.

04-02-08

I went to my 28 week appointment, I gained a whole pound in 4 weeks. The baby sounds great, he has a good strong heartbeat. Twelve more weeks, I can't wait, time can't move fast enough

i actually noticed spotting and the doctor said to go in to get checked then i stared gettting contractions i was so happy but in pain at the same time.i have pics up on my profile

thanks for the comment. so i called my doc yesterday and she said that from my symptoms it sounds like i am trying to go into labor and not to go to the hospital till i was in more pain, or bleeding, or my water broke....so....still waiting, no baby yet. so i am just gonna walk and keep doing what i am doing....maybe i will have the baby soon....how are you????

yeah i'm pissed and i was livid and told him he was ignorant, then my mom came over last night and i told her she went off on him shes so dumb she started tearing up and ended up crying thats mad she was! then he said sorry ...watever! this morning he kissed me good bye when he left to work like nuttin had happened that made me mad tooo!.......thankz for the comment hun! My birthday is 10th of July..but I hope baby will not wait so long, my due date is on 24th. Another mystical thing about my due date - my husband's father passed away year ago on June 24th. I knew little of his father, so it didn't upset me much, but if now our son will be born on 24th exactly year after, it will be just spooky.

I know we are not even due yet but seems unfair everyone else else is having some progress. You never know we may go before them and they have had all this anticipation...
I had a dream i lost my plug last night! Also my cat keeps following me everywhere i go which she never normally does so maybe im closer than i think? At hte most 3 more weeks and we will have our babys. Good Luck

thank you fro those wonderful words, i've been very upset cause my baby's daddy it's been a jerk found out he talks to another girl behind my back and it just broke my heart so bad, he is not cheating but i don't htink he shiuld be comforting some one else when i need comfort.. but you are rigth all i should think right now it's my baby.

I went to my appointment today and I told my midwife that I have had very few and far between contractions and she said ok...then put her hand on my stomach and said "oh youre having one right now." I just dont feel them yet :) Good luck to you!

Membrane sweeping is done by your midwife or doctor. While internally examining you, he or she will simply "sweep" a finger around the neck of your womb (cervix). The aim is to separate the membranes around your baby from your cervix. This releases hormones called prostaglandins, which may kick-start your labour.

A membrane sweep increases the likelihood that labour will start within 48 hours. It has a higher chance of working if the neck of your womb is already softening and preparing for labour. It does not increase the risk of infection to either you or your baby.

primrose oil tablets are supposed to help losen, soften, and dilate your cervix. i dkno if it works, but i'm trying it. my friend took them and said they did wonders for her... i'm also drinking ginger and raspberry teas to help. i also went for a 45 minute walk this afternoon... so far, so good....contractions are strong, but not close....

Thank you so much for the comment on back pain. It really is excruciating. I go to the doc tomorrow and will ask for a perscription. Hopefully she gives one to me. I am the same way. I would only take when needed and it is so needed right now! Thanks!!

I'm not really sure if I have dropped because I have been caring low compared to my daughters pregnancy, I think if he goes any lower that he will just fall out :) I have had pressure down low where I fill like I need to hold my belly up but I dont know if that means he has dropped and is in place already.

I think mine dropped too, but I can't be sure. I am feeling more soft at the very top of my belly and more pressure down low. I wonder what the signs are and when we are supposed to actually drop?
