the told me the same thing during my childbirth class... I lost some of my mucus plug today... tomorrow I get checked let's see if I'm dialing, hopefully I made some progress... I can barely walk the pressure in my pubic area is terrible and the ligments between my legs are so sore.... I cannot take it anymore!!!

cristty - Thursday, 1 May

Mizzy - Saturday, 26 April
3 and 4 centemeters! thats great news, they say four is active labor!

cristty - Friday, 25 April
I started taking the EPO last night... and I'm iserting also.... how are u feeling? nothing yet??

cristty - Thursday, 24 April
I found this on line and I'm temped!!

EPO or Evening Primrose Oil. Take two daily and insert 2 vaginally in the evening beginning at 37wks, or have your partner massage the oil into your cervix. EPO has precursers to prostagladin which helps rippen ones cervix. Nipple stimulation by massage or with a breast pump for 20min, wait an hour and repeat until labor is established. This will bring on strong contractions and is not advised until one is close to their due date. Blue cohosh 15 drops every half hour, under your tongue. Black cohosh 10 drops every half hour, under your tongue. I would NOT recommend taking herbs until you are close to your due date. I hope that this helps. I have used these methods to bring on labor with my last two children, and have worked as an aprentice midwife.

cristty - Wednesday, 23 April

might be just a mith... but... well... maybe it's true!! :)

cristty - Wednesday, 16 April
No stretch marks at all... but I have been putting cream all over myself since I was 10 weeks pregnant!! I used the mustela brand, it's a cream to prevent stretch marks... thanks for the compliments... but these photograpers can do miracles... i already gained 32 pounds!! So you have 3 more days!! Are they going to induce you if you are not dialeted?

agonzales - Wednesday, 16 April
Well good luck these next few days. Thanks for the suggestions of taking pics & all. Take care!

agonzales - Wednesday, 16 April
WoW! I see you're due any day now. How are you feeling?

Angiepangie - Monday, 14 April
The risk of weight gain isn't any higher than it is with 'the pill'...it's mostly fluid retention weight which goes away once your body gets used to it...unless you change your eating habits. I think the weight gain myth has more to do with WHEN most women start using hormone based contraceptives, rather than the contraceptive itself...when they are in their late teens or early 20's...which is when they are likely to change their activity levels and eating habits (ie: the freshman '15') . So that is my thoughts on the 'weight' gain thing.

cristty - Monday, 14 April
Thanks!!
Oh my god! You are almost there? how do you feel?

Angiepangie - Monday, 14 April
It does sound like they want to give you an IUD, but there are other options (an IUD carries with it an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy, increased and irregular bleeding and scarring of the uterine lining). Have you ever heard of the 'injectable contraceptive'? Its a progesterone shot that can be given right after birth, can be given to breast feeding moms ( won't affect milk production) and is over 99% effective. It works by inhibiting ovulation (like the pill) but only has to be injected every 4 months. It isn't an implant, just a 'shot' in the butt! You may want to ask your doctor about it. It is a great option for women like you, who want to retain their fertility for future pregnancies but want something 'no fuss'. Hope this helps.

Traviesa - Thursday, 10 April
my opinion is no! but then you might go the whole weekend and nothing happens then you'll be p i s s e d. But my "friend" wants to take me to the beach over here and that's only like 30-40min away..and I'm like heck no! I'm staying close to the hosptial. :)

mochas4me - Saturday, 5 April
hey! i saw your post on the stretch marks topic and was wondering where you got the soap to help remove them afterwards and what it was called. i was so happy i thought i would make it without getting any but then during these last two weeks, surprise! now it seems like i have more everyday. hope she comes soon, don't know how much more my skin can take. congrats on your little boy!

ashleighr - Wednesday, 2 April

Hola Lucy! Saludos, Eyleen

Hi ya, on the pressure thing, i get that but not all the time,it's worse when i walk or stand for a while and then walk, i think it's just the babys head pushing down on the bladder and the pelvic bones, mines got worse tho now that he's dropped and i'm always needing to wee,but my bladder isn't holding much urine now so i guess its coz it's being squashed! I hope these kids of ours will appreciate just what we had to go thru while getting ready to bring them into the world lol Hope your pregnancy has been good to you and the last 3 wks are ok, not long to go now - oooh how exciting :)

destineesmama - Monday, 24 Mar
well from my first pregnancy...i lost my mucas plug on a sunday and had my daughter the next day...but when i called my doc and told him he said it would prob be another week so i guess it all just depends on ur body...i never had yellowish or greenish discharge...i just wiped and saw something kinda stringy and gooey with a lil red in it...so i think everyone is different

noodle - Monday, 24 Mar
My doc told me with my 1st four babies that the mucous plug will start to loosen/come out at the end but is constantly replenishing itself until actual birth. Whenever I saw some blood tinged with it, I have been within 24 hours of having Baby...that's me, though. Best wishes!

eyleens-baby-page - Monday, 24 Mar
