Here is a little about me! Hey ladies. My name is Lauren and I am 24 years old. My husband's name is Brian and I have been with him since we were 16. We finally got married in 2005. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. We are currently living in Hawaii because he is in the military so he is stationed here. He just left for deployment but we were ttc before he left. We will see what happens. If nothing happens this month I am going to visit him for Christmas and see what happens then. Wish me luck!

January 13, 2008: Well as you can see I got my BFP!!! I couldn't believe it so I waited to the next morning and tested again and got another BFP!!! I went on vacation to visit my husband who is currently deployed to Japan and we did ALOT of BD'ing and well I came back from Japan with a little token. We are sooo Happy and Excited. I am not really having any symptoms yet. Just a little dizzy, tired and bbs hurt just a little. Other than that I am craving spicy food like crazy. That is all I want all the time. I already read up on that and if you crave spicy food that means your are prob having a boy!!! SOOOO I always said I am going to have all boys!!! I really would like a girl but I will love the baby no matter what they are!!! I already went to the Dr. I basically got off the plane on Friday, went to work and then straight to the Dr. after work. Got the blood test done and they told me YES I AM PREGNANT!!!! Soo tomorrow I have to call the other Dr's office and wait to get an appointment. They said not to be surprised if I don't get in until for another month or so!!! I go to the military Dr. SOOOO Lots of babies being born sooo they always are busy with new mamas!! I am little frustrated about that but I guess I can hold out. I just hope everything is ok!!!! : )

January 16, 2008: HEY THERE!!!! Well I have been feeling pretty good lately! One day I believe it was Monday I WAS NOT Feeling good at all. At night I got a bad headache and I think I over ate soo my stomach hurt. BUT now all better. I can not eat spicy food anymore!! HEARTBURN!!! OMG soo I am staying away from that. I called the Dr. and have my first appointment on February 6. That is right at 8 weeks for me!!!! I can not wait to go but I still have to wait another 3 weeks. I am going to go crazy waiting.

January 19, 2008: Well finally got my morning sickness and I wish it never came. I just feel sick in the morning and then it goes away but then I am tired alllllll DAY!!! Still have heartburn even if I am not eating anything. Gotta love this early pregnancy stuff!! : )

January 20, 2008: I CAN SMELL EVERYTHING NOW!!!!! EWWWWWWWW I hate this!

January 23, 2008: So 6 weeks now!!!! whooohoooo!!! I have been having cramps on and off for the past 2 weeks. They are not bad cramps and I read this is normal in the beginning of pregnancy so I am trying not to worry about it. The cramps seem to have died down today soo hopefully my body has adjusted and I will be good from here on out. I have morning sickness and have had it since last week. UHH I hate it because I am hungry but can not eat because my stomach gets to weak! I cant wait until I can eat food and not get sick from it. I am enjoying my bland pretzels, pasta and bread!! YUMMMMYYY!! NOT I also lost weight too! I started at 100 lbs and am down to 96!! This is scary but I am trying to eat and relax as much as I can! Anyways I just hope this all gets better soon so I can enjoy it!

January 27, 2008: Ok so it has been a good weekend so far. I just been relaxing with my feet up. I tried these new Sea Band wrist band things and they are working great for my morning sickness. I put them right on when I wake up in the morning and I feel fine! I have been able to eat this weekend too!!! I am eating as much as I can. I am so glad I am feeling better.

February 1, 2008: YEAHHH a new month. One more month closer to baby time. I am now at week 7. I can not wait because I have the 1st appointment on February 6 which is only 5 days away. I can not wait to see what is going on in there. I wish my husband could be there with me but he will be home soon enough from deployment. As for how I am feeling well I am getting very bloated now throughout the day but when I wake up in the morning it is gone so that is good. Morning sickness came back soo the Sea Band things haven't been working to well. I CAN NOT eat PIZZA. YUCK that is something that is def turning my stomach right now. I dunno why because I LOVE PIZZA!!! OWELL

February 4, 2008: Still week 7 but I am feeling ok today. I DID NOT throw up today so that is a good thing. I was sick all weekend and that was bad but owell. I am just happy I felt good today. Now just feeling a little crampy. I guess things are stretching and pulling and all that good stuff in there. Only 2 more days until my 1st appointment. I am a bit nervous but we will see what happens. I wish my husband could be there with me! : (

February 9, 2008: So week 8 now!!! I went to the doctor the other day for the 1st time and it was the most amazing expierence yet of this pregnancy. I got to see the baby. He or she is in there and doing good. I already saw the head, hands and feet forming. The babies heart rate was 106. Kind of low but I think it's because I am having a boy. I am so convinced I am having a boy. I will be surprised if they tell me I am having a girl at 20 weeks. Almost half way there to find out!!! Brian of course wasn't here for the 1st appointment but I sent him pictures and he still can't believe he is going to be a dad. I can not wait for him to come home and see everything I am going through. Only 3 more months until he comes home!!! : ) SOOO EXCITING!!! So I have been feeling pretty good. Get a little sick here and there but not like what it was in week 5. My bbs still hurt like crazy and I get tired so fast now. I am usually sleeping by 7:30!! I guess I better get my rest now though!!

February 25, 2008: Hi there! Haven't posted anything in a while. Well I am at week 10 now and still have morning sickness. I really hope that in two weeks when I hit 12 it is going to go away!!! I went to the doctor last week just for the 2nd visit. They actually canceled the appointment and wanted me to reschedule but I have not been feeling to swift so they let me come in. I got to see the baby again and got to see the heart beat. It was at 164 beats per minute. PRETTY FAST!!!! HOPE it's a girl! He or she was also bouncing around in there and doing flips. It was pretty funny. The nurse was surprised of how active the baby was. I am showing now but have NOT gained any weight yet. My stomach just looks bloated!!!! I guess that is a good thing! I go back to the doctor on March 12 because I leave to go back to New York to visit for 2 weeks. SO I guess I get to see the baby again then! I can't wait to see the change again and see how much he or she has grown.

March 11, 2008: So I guess time is going by ok. I am at the end of week 12 and feeling ok. I started to get sick at night now instead of the morning which is fine because at least now I can just go to sleep. I am also soo tired! I usually go to bed around 8 pm! Well I pass out on the couch! I went to the doctor today for my 12 week appointment and I didn't get to see the little one but I got to hear the heart beat! I was def amazing to hear it. It was at 130 bpm and then I said, "Uh OH it's a boy!" and all of the sudden the nurse was like, "Oh it just shot up to 155 BPM!" So I dunno if my baby was mad at me because I called it a boy when it is a girl or it got mad at me because I said UH OH it's a boy! HAHAHAHAHA Oh well we will see in May what we are having. I also got good new which I hope is going to stick!!! My husband is not supposed to come home from deployment from Japan until the 1st week in June but they got an email today saying they might come home as early as May 19!! There are a lot of guys that need to check out and go to a new station when they get back so they want to pull them back early!!! I HOPE THIS REALLY HAPPENS!!! I WILL BE SOOO HAPPY IF IT DOES!!! CROSSING MY FINGERS! Well I leave tomorrow for New York for 2 weeks! I am so excited to go home because I haven't been home since July! WHOHOOO I just hate the flight though!! BOOO

March 25, 2008: So going almost to week 15!!! We are almost half way there! WHOHOO the morning sickness is letting up a bit! I just get sick at night now. I got so sick last night. I have come to the conclusion I can not eat red meat! The baby just does not like it because every time I eat it I get sick. UHHHH SO I am in New York right now and I head back to Hawaii on Sunday. I am ready to get back to the warm weather! It is way to cold here in New York! I can not wait to go back to the doctor. I got back on April 9 so two more weeks. Hopefully I will get to see the baby this time. Last time I did not soo I am crossing my fingers.

April 5, 2008: Well I am at 16 weeks now and doing great! I am only having back problems so NOT THAT bad! I also found this place in Hawaii that does and ultrasound at 16 weeks where they can tell you if you are having a boy or girl and well I am having a GIRL!! I am so excited! I was so emotional because I really thought I was having a boy and it's a girl! I really wanted a girl too!! OHH she is going to be Daddy's Little Girl!

April 22, 2008: Well now I am 18 weeks almost 19!!!! YIKES!!! So I went for my big ultrasound yesterday where they look at everything including the sex of the baby. Let me just start with my child had his or her legs crossed. I am not totally convinced yet that I am having a girl since I found out so early and from an outside source!! SOO Now I am thinking boy but more than likely it is a girl. So anyway the tech that did the ultrasound really didn't tell me much just said everything looks good and it did. Nothing seemed abnormal to me. I was just mad though because the baby was sitting there with it's legs crossed. SHe or he WOULD NOT move!!! The tech though didn't even care to move him or her that much. He just told me well if the other place told you already it is a girl then it is prob a girl! WELL my doctor that I am seeing now said the last time I was there she is not going to say if it is a boy or girl until her tech tells her sooo I dunno where this guy says yes it's a girl but didn't see anything and my doctor said no I will not say yet sooo UHHHH I dunno I go back to the doctor on May 7 so I am going to ask if they can do another ultrasound then. WE WILL SEE!!! SO FRUSTRATING!

July 20, 2008: So it's been a while since I updated this but now I am at week 31 and almost there!!! YIKES Starting to get a little scared but I am getting everything ready around the house and that takes my mind off of it!!! I am so happy we finally got furniture to go in Isabella's room!!! We actually got a dresser and a changing table. Next week we will probrably get the crib because we def could not fit it in our small car with the other stuff we bought!! She is coming soon and I can not wait to hold her in my arms. I think she is going to be a big one!!!! LOL The doctor told me last week that I gained too much weight too fast!!!! So now I have to be on a diet and excercise!!! EWWWWWWWWWW LOL anyways I am doing it so I stay healthy!!!! We will see how that goes!!! Next appointment is next week already!!!

August 2, 2008: Ok so I am 33 weeks now and seriously I do NOT know how much more I can take of this!!!! Last weekend I was having cramping and backaches and I went to the doctor and she said ahhh it's fine!!! UHHHH Anyways I am convinced down that was my early signs of contractions because I had the pains on and off again the other day. Anyways now my fingers and toes are swollen and I feel like I am an old lady. I feel like my joints in my hands and feet just do not want to work!! I know the swollen aspect of pregnancy fine!! But what is with the joints hurting. Also I am so tired. I woke up at 4:30 am and can NOT go back to sleep. I have things to do today so it looks like I am going to be running off of some kind of coffee or something. I usually take a nap around 8 am but gotta do things today so no nap here! OHHH The fun of being pregnant!
