My fiance & I were both really happy since we had been trying for a few months. I really wanted a boy, of coarse since I already have my princess! My wish was granted!

June 20
Today has been a good day. Nothing to complain about much besides the fact that I am always tired & hot! ;o) I had a little bit of a scare yesterday evening, I hadn't felt the baby move much all day & I felt dizzy & started seeing spots! I called my doctor & of course you had me go to the hospital to get checked out. I was so scared! I already have high blood pressure so I automatically thought preclampsia! So I went to the hospital, they checked me out & I was fine! Thank GOD!! My blood pressure looked good & so did the baby's heartbeat. The nurse told me that I need to eat more frequently & that's probably why I felt as I did & why I hadn't felt the baby move either! I have my next doctors appt on this Friday, so I will update everyone with my progress. I have to do the glucose test that day, yuck!
June 22
Today was a good day! Ive been feeling pretty good nothing to complain about! I went to my doctor's appt today & everything is perfect! Strong heartbeat, blood pressure right on target & I'm gaining weight like I should be! I also did the glucose test, gross! That stuff is so gross! It made me really nauseous & almost faint, I guess just to much sugar at once! I hope everything comes back perfect with my blood!
July 7
I just wanted to update on my diary since I havent written for a couple of weeks. Not much has been going on, Im feeling fine just tired all the time. The baby doesnt move a whole lot like he did a few weeks ago but when he does move he gives me some good kicks! I love it!! I dont have anything to complain about, everything is going really good! I am so happy for that! On July 4th at 2:20am I got to see one of my best friends give birth to a beautiful baby girl! It was so exciting but it scared me at the same time! I got excited because I cant wait to see my son, but then it reminded me of what I will have to do before I get to see him!
July 22
Well I went to the doctors on Thursday the 19th. I wasn't scheduled to see my doctor, I seen the nurse practitioner. I told her that I haven't been feeling right, I advised her of the day before & having chest pain. I told her lately I have been short of breath & also getting heart palpitations. So now I have to go see a cardiologist. I am so scared & nervous! One good thing though, I'm gonna get another sonogram. She said I am measuring a little bit bigger than I should be. She said that it just might be tummy, since I already had one before I got pregnant, ;o). I really have been feeling weird. Not myself! I want to just feel normal again. I hope everything will be ok with the cardio stuff!! Wish me luck
August 6
So I went for another sonogram on July 30th, & again they confirmed that im having a baby boy!! I was really excited to hear that again cause the first time didnt fully convince me! But we seen his whole little package, haha! She said he weighs about 4lbs & 10ounces, he is a little big but she said nothing to worry about! My regular doctors appt was on August 2nd & she said that everything is looking fine, my blood pressure was good, so that was a plus! I go to the cardiologist tomorrow so I will update with that info. I hope that everything is otay with that! Im really nervous! My tummy is so big!!

When you have your baby they'll likely give you antibiotics via IV for the strep B infection so that the bacteria isn't transmitted to the baby during delivery. As long as they know you have the infection and they treat you with the antibiotics, you'll be fine (so it's a good thing). Your doctor should tell you what they'll do to treat it. Bring it up at the next appointment. Alot of women end up being positive for strep B. GOod luck! :o)

Because they have diagnosed you with Strep B is a good thing because they can do whatever necessary precautions, I don't blame you for being scared after reading info on it I have read stuff before and I felt the same way but the fact that they know is good so don't beat urself up it is not long to go and they can probably help you before u have ur little angel.

Hey. isnt that awesome that we both have the same due date! Im hoping i go before oct. 6th though.got my heart set on the 26th. im getting so excited! its going to be such a change being a mom. but i think its going to be for the best. im nervous of the labor pain! some people say its the worst thing and others say its not too bad so we will see. do you recommend the epidural or should i stick to the iv pain med. like i plan? i still havnt got everything ready yet. i have my baby shower tommorrow though so after that its a big shopping spree for everything i dont have! well i wish you the best of luck with all of the pregnancy symptoms. these evil stretch marks are enough to drive someone nuts i know that. lol have you had an ultrasound lately? i got to see the little one the day before yesterday because the dr. thought he was too small but hes 6 lbs. 11 ounces.

good luck i hope that you can get another ultrasound with my doctor he gives one like every month to us he does that for alot of his patients too i heard about that so that's why i went to this doctor with my first son i only had one and coulnt tell if it was a boy or girl some of my family thought was a girl then turnedout to be a boy

I saw a really cool stroller at the fair yesterday, it was made by evenflo and had a screen to cover baby when inside. I find that most strollers are a little on the bulky side now but mine isnt to bad. It folds up really easily anyway.

I've been going thru a lot of that too - but mine is cuz the baby's father and I are not together and there's lots of drama there I am trying to get away from.
