30 hours ago Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Thursday, 24 Jan i was just induced, it went well, because of the baby's head size and the potential for c sec i had the epidural placed but did not use it til i was7cm. then i usd it and 2 hours and then 2 pushes later, baby was here. i think alot of it depends on your doc and your nurses. ihave the worlds nicest doc and the nurses at that partcular hopital are REALLLLLYYY nice. i have had a good experience both times i wasthere. loopylou22 -

Thursday, 24 Jan I was just reading the week 40 comments and saw your post. Don't be frightened about being induced. I was induced with my first and I'm so grateful that I was. It was so peaceful to know when I was going to the hospital, it was stressfree checking in, and I was able to get comfortable in the room before things went underway. I wasn't dilated more than a fingertip (not even considered 1cm), and so they put in the cervidil first to ripen my cervix. They put in a quarter of the dose every four hours and watch your cervix for change. They only had to give me one dose, and I went into labor naturally! They came in to check me the first time and were shocked to see that my body went into natural labor! No matter what...contractions hurt (or at least are very uncomfortable for those with high pain thresholds), so don't worry that pitocin causes stronger contractions. If your cervix cooperates, and your doctor breaks your water, then things usually go smoothly after that. I highly recommend an epidural if you are wanting pain meds. I didn't feel a thing after I got mine, and I was laughing while I was pushing because it was just sooooo surreal!!! Good Luck to you and relax! The induction only gets the process started and once your body catches on...whatever happens would have been what would have happened whether it was natural labor or not! baby bug -
Wednesday, 23 Jan Hi! When are you going to be induced? It will be fine, don't worry! I am having a little girl, our first daughter (we have 2 boys) so I am super excited!! Do you know what you are having? baby bug -
Wednesday, 23 Jan Hi! I had to be induced with my first 2 children. The first time I was given pitocin and it worked pretty slowly until my Dr. broke my water. Things went fast after that and I won't lie, it really did hurt, but after my epidural it was smooth sailing and literally pain free! With my second child I wasn't dilating so they put Cervadil in my cervix and I started having mild contractions later that night and again, not too much pain until my water was broken and then things went quickly. Because I have only ever been induced I have no natural labours to compare them to. I do know that induced labour tend to have stronger and more painful contractions, so epidurals are used more often. Good luck!! shylebgal -

Wednesday, 26 Dec Only in America they scare u with this stuff.Yes,it is dengerous,if u do it too early.I really want my baby by end of this year. So,I read in one european site doctors telling that if u eat the whole lemon, the concentrated vitamin C makes the birthcanal close, and the baby drops faster.I don't know.I ate it today, and now the heartburn i skilling me.LOL. nicolette r. -
Tuesday, 25 Dec HI.I started the raspberry leaf tea yesterday.lots of it,like the whole day.it is yummy. Monday, 24 Dec Hi, I started drinking the raspberry leaf tea three days ago, first 3 cups then 4 and I'm aiming for 5 today... Nothing major has happened yet just a few pains and what I think are contractions that come late at night but dont last for very long, from anyone I've spoke to about it, it seems to help, especially with stage2 labour. Good luck! x
