What can I say about myself... I am married to the most amazing man, Dan. We have been married since March 11th, 2005 and have been together over 4 years now. We have a beautiful son, Nicholas Ryan, who will be 3 years-old July 21st and just had our baby girl Hannah Grace on June 12th, 2008. We are very blessed. In December of 2005 we adopted our all white Siberian Husky, Frosty. He is about 5 years-old and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect dog. I have been working at a Foreclosure Law Firm in Burr Ridge for a little over 4 years now. I work full time, 30 hour weeks, so I am home with my family by 1:30. Dan works from home and we are very thankful be able to spend so much time watching our son and daughter grow up.

Hi there! I am also struggling to lose weight! Well, I guess I have not been trying too hard yet (breastfeeding). But now I have a TON of weddings to go to and have nothing to wear and still look pregnant. I am now within 5lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight but it all has shifted to my belly! I am also short (5'3") so it doesn't take much to look chubby. I had 2 c-sections so this hanging muscle is killing me....gross! I was going to post some pics of my nasty body on here and start exercising with everyone else and keep track. I still have not gotten to that point because I don't even want to see myself half naked :) I know "Grace" is doing a weekly weight loss log on her page. Just a thought. I need some help too! Are you breastfeeding or have any other restrictions? Are you currently dieting or exercising?

My Mom said that it'll get better but I don't believe it! LOL My son just turned 3 back on May 31st so ours are pretty close in age. My hubby doesn't help with anything either. Except when we are having people come over he'll help a little bit.

We just moved to another city so we don't have any friends or family around. It sucks. But my MIL is going to take my 3yr old for a few day sometime this month. I really hope it's next week. LOL The baby is fine, I can deal with him. I just need some time away from the 3yr old. I feel so bad saying that but he's driving me insane!

noticed your comment and thought I should warn you that the sleepless nights may continue, lol. my 2 month old eats 2 oz sometimes 3 and still wants to nurse every 2 hours, 3 if i'm lucky. Doc says this is fine, it's what she wants so give it to her and soon she should be sleeping longer periods of time......(i hope really soon, 2 months of waking up every hour and a half to 2 hours is getting really really REALLY OLD!!!!) Good Luck!

Yeah, that is exactly how our daughter is. She likes her car seat and bouncer. Today we tried the moses basket on our bed, and she slept for 3 hours!!!! So maybe we are on to something with that! Thanks for the post!

Hey, I saw your post about the belly button, and I definitely would not work too hard to clean all of that stuff out at once... b/c I poked around a lot during her 1st real bath, and she then projectile vomited all over my husband when we were done! I really think it was b/c I dug around too much. It's totally cleaned out now, and I never even had to purposely clean it much after that incident.
Oh, and I think we had talked about burping before? You know what I finally found helps? Putting her really high on my shoulder! Almost like her belly is pressed against my shoulder... it helps push the burp out.

after baby elizabeth's chord stump fell off it took about a week and a half for all the crap to come out. every time i changed her diaper i would wipe her bellybutton with a warm wet cloth or wipe

Thanks. My doctor said the same thing about the 6 weeks, since I'm not breastfeeding. But I think I'm going to keep taking them, to keep me strong and healthy for my baby. Also, I plan to try to get pregnant in 10-11 months so it is probably a good idea.
