About Me:

Hi ladies, my name is Jessica and my partner is Mike. We are now starting our fourth month of ttc after a m/c earlier this year. We just moved into our new home and were both very excited to expand our family. I cannot wait to be a mommy! I love reading through all the profiles on here and gaining knowledge from those who've experienced pregnancy and motherhood first hand.

Step 1...Pee on the stick. (must be sure to hold it under urine stream for a heartbeat longer than recommended just to be sure).

Step 2...Stare at stick while you continue peeing. Feel heart jump when urine passes over the spot where the line would be and it hitches for a second, then gets a dark line...then keeps going, taking your dark line with it to the test window.

Step 3...Place on bathroom counter. Pretend not to stare at it. Let's try to give yourself busy work to keep from looking at it. In fact, your toilet now gets cleaned once per day.

Step 4...Tell yourself you are expecting a BFN. Then start to mist up when you see that it is, in fact, a BFN. Stare at the blank spot for a full minute before picking it up.

Step 5...First, go to window and check it under day light.

Step 5...Now, stand on toilet to be closer to light in ceiling. Check strip.

Step 6...Close one eye. Squint other eye.

Step 7...Turn on several lamps around house. Hold strip under lamp. Check strip.

Step 8...Hold strip OVER lamp. Check strip.

Step 9...Hold strip in front of lamp so light shines THROUGH strip, just in case.

Step 10...Pull stick apart. Hesitate for a heartbeat when you realize you are holding the still wet "wick" in one hand, then continue the destruction.

Step 11...Repeat Steps 5-9.

Step 12...Throw stick away.

Step 13...Pick stick back up out of trash.

Step 14...Repeat Steps 12 and 13 the rest of the day!

Well i dont know if you read my recent blog or no, but i just thought i'll talk to you about it.. Well girl, i am no more TTC - till the next 3 months. I got a few blood tests done and they came out positive with a few viral infections in my blood, hence i got vaccinated and i am on medication, so my ob/gyn told me NOT to TTC for the next 3 months anyways i hope time flies for me...

Look who else got her first AF!! My Poor Baby!

firstmommy08 - Sunday, 12 October
Hi! I just wanted let all know today was an awesome day. We had our local SHARE walk here in Peoria, IL. (Will post pics soon) SHARE is an organization that helps women through pregnancy, infant, & stillborn loss. We released ballons, poems were read, our babies names were read, and we walked. It was nice. Then I went to the baby's cemetary and there was a little service there. It was very peaceful. At lunch a lady came up to Scott & I and seen our shirts. She asked what "Share" was and I told her. She then proceded to tell us about her daughter she lost at 2yrs old. It was comforting, just to know someone knew and understood our pain. Love to all of those women who are missing their babies and even more love to those who are coming up on their "milestone" dates. One day we will meet again with our babies. We'll be able to hold & love on them. Til then, they are safe in the arms of Jesus. Take care everyone. Lots of hugs!!! -Sam
PS For all of you who may not know, October is Infant & Pregnancy loss awareness month. October 15th is the national day. At 7pm everyone (in their own time zone) is suppose to light a candle for their lost babies. I hope you all join me in the wave of light around world. God bless all of you wonderful women!!
