May 8, 2008-Well today I went for my 2 week check-up, and found out that my little girl is 4 lbs 12 oz. already!!! I hope shes not too big because I still have 7 more weeks to go! Shes kicking like theres no tomorrow, but I love it! Just lets me know that shes alright in there!!!

This is my first pregnany, and I am so excited!! Im having a little girl, and she is supposed to arrive on June 26! Today I am 25 weeks and 6 days, and I went to my 4 week check up. While getting the ultrasound, I noticed that she was yawning and it was the most exciting moments of my pregnancy. She looked so cute while she was doing it, I couldnt stop smiling. I never knew that I would have such a connection with someone I dont even know yet. Hopefully these next months go by really fast because I cant wait to finally meet her.

I've already chosen a first name (Aniyah), but Im struggling a little with a middle name that flows, so if any of you can help, I would really appreciate it.

How`s my pregnancy doing?

Thanks for getting back to me. I really don't want to get her turned. I have been told it hurts and I just can't see that being comfortable for her either. Plus it sounds like a lot of stress on her. I am at 35 weeks now and have heard of babies that do turn on their own after 35. Thank you so much for your help. I really haven't wanted to do it and just hearing someone else say it makes me feel so much better. Good luck on your little one.

I just read that you might have to have a procedure done to turn you baby. I am in the same boat right now and wanted to know if you had this done. I am looking for any advise I can get.

Hi there! Thanks for the invitation.... are you as ready to be at week 40 as I am? I am having more braxton hicks, and can't find a comfortable position. I can't believe there are 7 more weeks to go...

christy114 - Thursday, 8 May
Hey, How are ya doin? I tried to accept your invitation but it wouldn't work so I sent you one back to see if it worked for you. How have you been feeling?

Keep up with your schooling even if it is online!! Try Capella, I am going to go with them for my Masters degree. At first I was really skeptical because I am sick of online schooling for no good reason, I just want to physically go to school, anyway, a friend of mine is going for his Ph.D. and he is a professor at a local college and he is already a therapist. So I checked it out and I am going to go with it. It works perfect with my schedule ( 1, 2, 3, in the morning) and I love the independence. The classes are 10 weeks long at Capella. Right now I am at National University in California. There are goods and bads, but the biggest benefit to me is that the classes last only 4 weeks. It is very condensed and demanding, but it is so nice to finish a class in a month, you don't have time to get bored. Check them out too. www.national.edu
and Capella is www.capella.edu
Both take finacial aid too!

Keep me in the loop and let me know if you try online classes!!

I understand what you are saying about life not going the way you had planned. This may sound bad or cliche, but you are young and that is an advantage. I finished high school at 16, dabbled around in college, got married at 22 had a daughter 9 months later, just putted around for a few years, went back to college in '97, stopped to move out of state, had another daughter, worked, and I was miserable. I felt like I wasted my life, I would never reach my goals, I would never amount to anything, and my daughters would know what it was like to be nothing. Then my therapist told me what was really missing was school. She told me that I was happy at school and it made me feel like a person, full of life. So I decided to take the plunge and go back; I went online since the school I left was in another state. I am completing my BA in psychology next month and I start grad school in the fall. I am 37!! But, I can honestly tell you it was one of the best things I have ever done. I did not let myself down and I pushed through the depression part. I do, however, have a huge obstacle coming up because my new baby is due in August right when school is scheduled to start. At first I thought it would be fine and I would just go anyway, but now I guess reality has set in and I know I will have to a.) wait until October or b.) go online for a few months. I am going to go online for a few months so I don't loose time. After all, I don't have a ton of time left if I want a career before I have a walker!

You can do it, just be creative and patient!
Good Luck!!

That is so neat. If you don't mind what did you pick for a middle name? I was so excited when I had the 4d done. I have to a c-section on the 9th or 16th of June still to be determined by my dr. and I can't wait. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy ...Keep in touch.

Thanks for saying my dog is cute. He's my first non-human baby. Is your baby still butt down? Mine is. I've been trying to do inversions, so we'll see if that helps. I don't plan on doing the ECV. What wil be will be. Hope you are doing well!

Hi, Im a first time mom so this is just me opinion for now lol but like you i am terrified of needles (i always kick up a stink when i have to have bloods taken and my anti d shot i get so worked up its not funny...well it is to my hubby lol) i honestly believe that if you are in that much pain with childbirth and there is some way of them making it go away a needle will not bother us at all we will just want them to make the pain stop. So for that reason epidural is down on my birthing plan. Try not to worry you'll be fine though xx
