My husband and I have been married almost 4 years and this will be our second child. Our first, Annalise, is 5 and about to start school! Im glad that they are that far apart. At first we wanted them closer but this is the way it came about so thats good. We are just excited to be pregnant!

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be windy. Your baby will arrive in the morning.

After a labor lasting approximately 17 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and will be 21 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and some very fine hair.

But there is more. I sense that you are in need of distraction. Some enjoyment. Have you thought about belly painting? Take a look

I hope that this is off on length of labor and baby size!!! My first born only weighed 5lbs 2oz and she took 12 hours to deliver! I wouldn't mind a girl but I have a feeling this one is a boy! We will just have to wait and see.

I saw this on one of our fellow Mommy to be's page and had to try it!!!

Those pesky saver types! My husband is one too, but he has a low threshold for nagging so if I really want it I can get it. On this one he didn't fight me too hard, I think he just knew this was one I wasn't going to stop on. Patience is not my strong suit. Good luck to you! Your picture looks like you were sitting on a patio having some beers with friends, I am so desperately sad that I will not get to do that this summer. It is my very favorite thing to do.

Forget waiting! See if you have an elective u/s place around you. My doc put my u/s off till my 23rd week!!! So I am paying a place 100 dollars to do it and they give me a DVD video and pictures and we are doing it in a showroom where all of my family can come. I would check it out if I were you. I find out next Friday!

hi - i used to have my belly button pierced & with my first pregnancy as my belly got bigger and my skin stretched, the pink scar tissue from the inside of the piercing started showing on the outside - also a thick white substance started coming out of it (especially if I squeezed it) - not loose like puss, but like congealed white ...cream? Anyway, it was totally fine - nothing to worry about -- -however if it hurts, swells, or the redness spreads from right at the piercing area, then it could be a sign of infection and you should see a doc....also if it is hot to the touch or you get a fever, see the doc right away...hope this helps :)

Hey! I started one too!

BabyMomma1008 - Thursday, 24 April
I've been the same exact way. I can be cracking up one minute and locked in my room hysterical the next. It's not fair either..my sister was moody BEFORE she got pregnant and then when she got pregnant, so was the calmest we've ever seen her!
It's draining..but I just keep reminding myself that it'll be worth it in the end when that little one is looking back at me!

i was going to message you yesterday to see if you had found it.. it seems to be working so far for me...touch wood...

thank-you for your reply i was so worried that i might of hurt the baby with not quitting straight awaybut it was hard to believei was pregnant until i saw it on the ultra sound screen. pregnancy should come with a step by step guide its hard knowing what feelings are normal and which arn't i seem to be panicing at every little thing i have a midwife appointment on thursday so hopefully i will here the heartbeat and that will put my mind at rest. how is your pregnancy coming along?

klaire-oct - Friday, 18 April
well my partner has told me he wouldn't mind because it would be for producing his child n he would find it beautiful in his eyes... but i think its how u feel about it yourself..
i think it would be a completely different story if i get them i think.lol.
u may be ok... u never rly got them ur first pregnancy so ull probly find you wont get them this time either.apparently its important to not scratch or rub ur bump to much cuz that apparently can cause them to..try getting bio oil from a store like asda or morrisons.. they normally have it there.

klaire-oct - Friday, 18 April
its like oil that is made for stretch mark or uneven skin tone...
its work a little like a moisturizer.. it seems to be working so far.. i think its out were u live but im not sure.. if u go to a pharmacist n ask if they have some they will get it u or tell u were to go to get it..my friend had a few stretch mark n she told me it reduced the ones she already had... and a few people have told me its vry good..

Hey, Ive been getting that pain too, I am sure its just ligament pain but check with your midwife, they will put your mind at rest. Try not to worry mine started at around 12 weeks and I panicked but all was well in my scan and the midwife wasnt worried at all. Hope you are well other wise TC Mand x

aanaka - Thursday, 17 April
Hi : ) I'm a from week 12 and like to read ahead and saw what you wrote recently. I have had 3 children and the pains I got were round ligament pain. Then there was the other pain........... lol. When I had to go #2 or for a little while before I would get a pain really bad on one side or the other. It felt similar to menstral cramps but different at the same time.

Navy0Wife - Thursday, 17 April
I am having the same cramping/stretching feelings. I think I am going to go to the doctor to make sure everything is okay. Take care.

that madame zaritska is so cool....how did u get that??? well thanks for the comment, it is all about the bean and he def. has to work pretty hard to win my trust back....i did try to help him but he wanted to be stubborn so now he can do it on his own, if he does it at all, i told him to get an apt n start payin bills (to answer his question of what am i to do) so he says well i think i'll quit my job n not get an apt....im just starin at the phone going 'seriously?' but hey thats his life n i have mine, i cant wait for my first trip to the dr..hearbeat n all that jazz =)

I understand, I've been thinking of baby names since I was a middle schooler! Now the problem is getting my husband to agree. Since I grew up with such a common name (Jennifer) I am leaning towards more funky, original names. I like Harper or Iris for a girl and Finn for a boy. But I'm sure that will change a hundred times over the next 6 months!

hiya
thanks for ur message. Put my mind at rest, thanks lots. Hope ur well. sticky dust xx

How about Lillian Mae Baker?

athome - Friday, 4 April
Hi Jennifer1017 just beat me to it I was about to suggest Grace. I think Lillian Grace Baker sounds lovely.

jennifer1017 - Thursday, 3 April
Lillian Grace, Lillian Rose, Lillian Ava, Lillian Paige , Lillian Claire Lillian is such a pretty name, you could go with a really simple middle name! Do you already know that you're having a girl?

ourfirstone - Thursday, 3 April
I think Marie would be a nice middle name. Lillian Marie sounds nice. Good luck!

Hey! I just saw your post in week 12 and thought I would comment. They do a triple screen (my Doctor does a quad screen) for detecting neural tube defects and other genetic defects or abnormalities. I am personally going to have it because I would like to know ahead of time and be prepared. I already love my baby so it won't change that, but I just like the reassurance. Oh yeah and you also said that you left the Doctor's Office feeling not so much better... been there :) I think after the 20 week ultrasound when you can SEE that everything is fine and baby is okay you will feel a lot better!
