Wednesday, 14 May Congrats! armymom -
Wednesday, 14 May Its completely fine.. there are no links to hair dye and birth defects.. my sister is a hair dresser and uses semi-permanant hair dye so its not as harsh. If u can get away with just highlighting ur hair do that since the hair color doesnt really touch the scalp. Just be aware that if ur going lighter ur hair my not pick up the right tone... ur pregnancy hormones can throw everything off even ur hair folicle pores. But my advice.. go ahead a dye ur hair.. just space out ur appointments and only highlight ur hair if possible. Take care athome -
Wednesday, 14 May Hi There is no evidence to suggest colouring your hair does any damage to a growing baby , however there is no evidence to suggest it doesn't thats why they dont recommend it. Its one of those things that until they can prove it doesn't do any harm they suggest you dont but they say its safe to have foils or highlites because they dont touch your scalp and so cant enter your bloodstream. So next time perhaps consider this. Hope this helps. ericankyle -
Tuesday, 13 May Yay! Have fun tomorrow! :) I have been impatient as well. I don't get to go until the 20th. BUT that is my birthday so I am super excited. As for furniture, like I said--I am impatient...bought it about 2 months ago. lol :) Let me know how tomorrow goes! michandmoff -

Wednesday, 7 May Hi there,,
I just read your blog, and I was able to feel the baby kick hard in week 16. My hubby can feel it as well.. But this is my third child so I think that is why I can feel it so early.. Although I never thought that anyone else could feel the kicking as well.. Even my 7 yr old can feel it..
I am sure that you will feel it anytime....

Saturday, 3 May I totally know what you mean too! I told my BF that it felt as though I was on some sort of ride or something b/c even just sitting I still felt like I was on a boat or some sort of carnival ride. Relax hon - it is all part of the prego ride. : )

Saturday, 3 May I was getting dizzy REALLY bad almost daily- I went to the dr. and they said I wasn't eating often enough. I started eating every 2 hours and it went away. My sister is 30 wks pregs and she started feeling dizzy at night, then one day it didn't go away. She went to the dr., then a nuerologist and they said she had some kind of "vertigo"- can't remember which kind. Anyway, they did acouple head treatments (2 different appointments) and she's feeling 95% better. The dr's told her it has NOTHING to do with the pregnancy- it happens to alot of non pregs people. Hope this helps and that you start feeling better soon =) Bangel -
Saturday, 3 May I have dizzy spells from time to time. All my pregnancy books said that it could happen around this time. I had one the other day when I was just about to come down a flight of stairs. That really freaked me out! If its freaking you out alot, just call the doc's monday. ;) danyl -
Saturday, 3 May I hear that it's comon to get dizzy around now because of the increased blood flow and what not. But I always get freaked out about it...it does happen to me alot. I am also anemic and my doctor says that makes it a lot worse, so if you feel like you need to get checked, ask them to check your iron levels just in case. No problem is too small to call and talk to your doctor...better safe than sorry! :) Hope you feel better! BabyMomma1008 -
Saturday, 26 April Congrats to you!! I'm a fellow 15 weeker..I thought I was the only one hungry all the time! I'm eating every 2-3 hours...I even wake up in the middle of the night wanting a snack! kingkongmadmax -

Tuesday, 25 Mar hi, im the same feel like my heart is pounding, iv read that its because your body is making alot more blood so your heart has to work that bit harder to pump it all around,
best of luck with your pregnancy minkymoo78 -
Tuesday, 25 Mar Hi I was suffering with the racing heart and went to see my doc. He says I have a heart murmur and has referred me to a cardiologist. It's quite common to develop one in pregnancy. Maybe go and see your doc if you're worried. preggo-bethany -
Monday, 24 Mar You are supposed to splurge with your first!! It's the only pregnancy that your body will quickly bounce back from, haha!! You know, it seems like everyone had already had u/s visits, and doctor visits, but I wont see mine until the 7th. It's nice to know I'm not the only one! preggo-bethany -

Thursday, 20 Mar I can't believe till 12 1/2 weeks! That's crazy...well, mine is still 2 weeks away so I guess my doc isn't much better. I hate waiting so long, I'm debating on going into the hospital and saying I fell so I get an ultrasound to make sure everything is going well. haha...alot of people told me not to, but if you can't get into the doctor until you're out of your first trimester then what can you do?! Thursday, 20 Mar Hello. I read your question about twins and I thought I would respond since I have started to do a lot of research! Identical twins are random and don't run in families, and the only way that fraternal twins run in families is if you are passed a gene to 'hyperovulate' from a parent. So, it only matters on your side (not the baby's father) since you are the one ovulating!! If your mother had the gene that made her ovulate more than one egg a month and you received the gene, that would mean you could possibly have fraternal twins. Otherwise, it doesn't matter where the twins are in the family. Some sites that I have read say that twins don't really run in families at all??Kind of confusing, but hope this helped!! preggo-bethany -
Thursday, 20 Mar Thank you! I always wanted more than one, but never thought we would be pregnant with our 6th (my 4th)!! Good luck to you, and if you have any questions please feel free to ask!! :) JanetK -
Wednesday, 19 Mar Hey, thanks for writing to me. It is so fun to receiving a message! Don't be so hard on yourslef about the wight gain. I have gained weight already too. One woman at work actualkly ASKED me if I have gained weight, not knowing that I am pregnant. I was horrified. So maybe I AM showing after all!! It's mostly in my legs, arms and stomach though--not exactly the round baby bump I was hoping for. But as I told her, its for a good cause. = ) I think a lot of us are in the same boat. This business of gaining 25 lbs through the whole pregnancy seems a bit unrealistic to me, but I guess we'll see. Good luck!! =) Leave a message for anxiousfirst in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
