Hello Pregnant Ladies,
I am so excited to be pregnant again. I have 5 year old twin boys and I have wanted another baby for quite a while now. I had trouble getting pregnant the first time so I thought it just wouldn't happen to me again. Out of nowhere, I started getting very sick and soooo tired. Then the emotional part began. I was 6 weeks late but the thought never crossed my mind that I could possibly be pregnant. Irregular menstrual cycles was normal for me. I was at work one morning and my husband called and I told him how bad I felt. He told me to go on my lunch break and get a pregnancy test. I took the test at work and much to my surprise, I was pregnant. My husband ,who always said that 2 kids is enough, was totally excited. I was in shock at first but I couldn't have been happier! This pregnancy is such a gift from God because I always said it would take a miracle to get pregnant again. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!!!!

Well, 15 weeks is almost here. I `m so excited. I went to the doctor last week and the heartbeat was 148. I will get another ultrasound in 4 more weeks. The doctor said that we will be able to tell the sex then. I can `t wait to be able to call the baby a she/he instead of IT!
Wednesday, 20 FEB
My belly is growing more and more each day! I have been feeling the baby kick quite often. Over the weekend, I felt it kick so I looked down at my belly and it kicked again but this time I saw my belly push out with it. I was sooo excited. My next ultrasound is March 7th. Wish me luck!

It's a girl! I am sooo excited. The ultrasound tech wasn't 100% positive but there wasn't anything sticking out so she said that she was pretty sure that it is a girl. She moved around the entire time, kicking and punching. She is beautiful already. Thank God for miracles like this.
Saturday, April 12th
We have finally decided on a name. It's Shelbie Grace! We had another ultrasound a couple days ago and it is definitely a girl. We're soooo excited. She is moving around in there all the time and I love it. She finally kicked her daddy for the first time today. I can't wait until she gets here.
Tuesday, April 29th
We set a date for my baby shower. It's June 7th. I'm sooo excited. I am starting to get the baby's nursery fixed up. My mom won't let me lift anything so it's hard to do what I need to get done. My mom and sisters are going to come and help me this weekend. Baby Shelbie is moving around all the time. She loves to kick at bedtime. She kicks when she hears my two boys' voices and when my husband talks to her and rubs my belly. I will be getting the Rhogam shot next week (YUCK) at 28 weeks. I had my GD test last week. I think that time will fly now since I will be seeing the doctor every 2 weeks. I can't wait for the end of July to get here!!!!!

I love Shelbie's nursery...you have an eye for decorating! I hope you are feeling well! Something funny to share, they have scheduled my c-section for July 22...the week they are having nursing students try on uniforms!!! I can't wait to see how that goes.

I know when i went to the hospital i was 50% affaced and i didn't have any discharge but now its so much its crazy. I just dont know whats going on.

Its so funny that your baby is going to be Shelbie Grace! It took us forever to pick between Grace and Lynne and since my middle name was Lynne we choose Lynne. So she'll be Shelbie Lynne.

Hi! I just saw your comment on my Shelbie's room! Thats cool that your little one will share the same name as mine! Everyone around here had never heard of anyone naming their kid Shelbie and if they did they thought we'd be spelling it with a y. Anyway, just thought I'd send you a quick comment! I know what you mean about having way too much stuff. I have so much in the closet I think that is another reason I am putting off getting everything ready. Plus I am waiting till I can put his room together, that way I can put things away 1 time, not have to re do everything. I am thinking about washing the first few times in Dreft then maybe take a few things and try Tide, since we use it for ours but yesterday I made sure I bought the kind that has not die in it and stuff like that just in case I did change my mind. Im sure it would be ok but its just in my head that I have to use Dreft or something like that. I know with my first one I was the same way, I used the special kind then after a while I just started using what we used. But isnt amazing how fast all the clothes add up. congratulations on the placenta news. i am hoping for the same news. it was still there as of Tuesday, but moving. so fingers crossed no c-sections for either one of us!!!

Thats so exciting you got a surprise shower. My coworkers didn't throw me a shower but they bought me a bunch of stuff. There are only 5 of us in the office so a baby sower would of been pointless. lol.

I had a pap at my last appt and it was difficult for the dr to get to my cervix. It was b/c my vaginal walls were kinda like caved in which was from hormones she said. She said the hubby would probably feel a difference too. Maybe that's kinda what's going on with you?? I love your nursery, very girly! Though I like that you steered away from pink too and went with purple.

I am not sure about a shower. My sister says I am having one but I really don't expect one. I did have one with my second but there are 8 years between them. Kindergarten is hard and I am sure the hormones are not helping. Don't feel weird about the shower...if someone wants to throw one for you then let them. People will use any excuse to shop for a new baby :) I am glad classes are over but I hate not having something to keep my mind busy! I am feeling every ache and pain now. Keep in touch!!!

why do they make us wait so long for our ultrasounds?! I will be having my baby shower on June 8th and my ultrasound is the 12th. I hope she is still a girl or else I will be returning a lot of things!
