I thought I was having gas pain when my contractions started, but after having a couple more I realized they really were contractions. they were not painfull at this time, this was at 4am, at 10am they started getting harder and dificult to walk, but I took a shower and a nap and they faded. at 3pm they were back I went to the hospital at 7:30pm and my little girl was born the next morning at 7:55am........I was a long labour but I got the epidural because of the horrible back labor.....I loved the epidural after getting it I felt no pain and pushing was hard but not painfull, I only pushed for 1 hour......she is beautifull and I love her so much...

don't listen to the horror stories, they told me labor was horrible and I thought it was nothing compared to what they said.......goood luck and enjoy it because I goes by so fast!!!!!!!!!

My hubby is getting just as impatient as me. He said he is going to steal a cytotek pill and insert it himself while I sleep..lol. I just hope he comes before Easter. He is definitely taking his time! I've been crampy but it probably won't turn into anything, as usual! Thank you for the Happy Birthday. What a birthday it'll be if he decides to bless us with his presense! Have a great day and keep in touch!

wow we're in the same boat. This is my fourth, too. The others babies had done been delivered by now! I've been dilated, thinned out, soft for weeks. Had my membranes swept, doc says 'anytime' and has for weeks. Why wont this one come out?!! Sex, walking, tried many things but no baby =(

why do you have to get an amnio now? You'll be fine though.....just fine...dont worry about it. Stress is no good for you at this point. The DR knows what hes doing. Relax and take comfort that it's almost over and you'll have your baby in your arms in no time.

yes I am done ! It feels good. Good luck to you. Have an assistant do everything but what you have to do yourself and drink alot of water. If I was in the salon full blown like you right now I'd die. I'm so done. Tired , swollen, achy, cranky,hungry......ahhh the joys. Hopefully you will get in some rest time before baby gets here. I feel for you. Good luck! And I say if you feel like cancelling early just do it. The loyal ones will always be loyal and whoever you lose can be replaced. That's how it goes in this business , there is always a constant turnover and you'll recover any lost clients eventually. You need to put yourself and baby 1st at this point. Hang in there !

I had alot of yeast infections with my first preg. This preg. I've had two. One recently I didn't even know I had until Dr. did an exam! The only symptoms I had were a yellowish discharge, but I thought it was normal for the mucous. They are annoying! Hope it clears up for ya!

I was breach until 2 weeks ago and then I went for acupuncture to get the baby to turn and that evening he/she turned down - I was so happy (and surprised), as really did not want a c-sec. If you try this though, it is important to go to someone who has experience in this field of acupuncture - 80% of babies turn (apparently). The only thing is, I don't know if it has been left too late - but anything is worth a try! Good luck

ha,ha...read my latest comments ! I have been going postal on him for like 4 days. He keeps making lame mistakes and I'm so tired, uncomfortable and anxious I have zero pateince. He told me this rude thing my neighbor said and I locked myself in the bathroom sobbing for like 45 min! My hormones are all crazy right now. But he did finish most of the babys room and make a huge Costco run for me this weekend to make up for the bonehead stuff hes been doing so I'm trying to be nice. Even last night he was on the computer for like 2 hrs and I was all up on him....what were you doing for that long blah,blah......I need this to be over and to bring this baby home !!!! How is your swelling ? I was considering booking one last client (basically to pay for my massage lol ) and just from sitting here on this computer this morning my feet/ankles are so swollen ! It's all over for me. I will be lying around and eating for the next 2 weeks I can tell.

Hey there, he told me alot of walking,sex...ive tried the raspberry tea, its not too bad and did give me some light contractions. My dr told me that castor oil cant harm u or the baby and i could try it but it usually doesnt work, i tried it and it just gave me some bad cramps and contractions that didnt stick around. I've been doing alot of brisk walking...so hopefully soon! best wishes!! it wont be long!

Well, it was worth a try. Our babies will be here soon! Seems like every day someone is having their baby. I just keep looking forward to my due date because I highly doubt I will go before then. Good luck and keep in touch!

So are you still working or are you done ? I have my last client tonight. It's like a 4 hour job and I have been swelling up SO BAD I'm really nervous about it but I'm going to push through. I feel bad because I still have 2 really loyal clients who were trying to squeeze one last app out of me but I just dont think I have it in me anymore. I'm too tired , achy, swollen etc. to do anymore hair !!! I feel obligated and bad though for turning them down. Do you experience this at all w/ your clients? Hope you are feeling well. Just wanted to pick another hairstylists brain today.

lol..I usually don't tell people on the forum because like I said, some women aren't comfortable enough with their own body (how do they think they got pregnant in the first place). You can feel the baby inside! You don't have to go up to far at all! Actually my husband was jealous that I could feel the baby and he tried last night while I was in the shower and he could feel him! He was ecstatic! Then, later that night, the little man had hicups while I was in bed and I told my husband to feel him, so he washed his hands and felt him from the inside! Again, he was freaking out because this time he felt a hand or nose moving around. Our babies are low and heavy enough now that you don't have to insert your finger to far to feel them. It's really cool and why not do it, it's our bodies, right?!!

Thanks for your comment!! Nice to know I am not alone. I have a feeling my little one wants to come a little early, so I am just going to hang in there until he is ready. :) Sounds like you could use a break as well! Someone gave me some good advice (after I posted my complaints about being at work), she said try and ignore everyone ... and even though I work in customer service I have been trying to lay low and ignore my co-workers and I think it has helped. You don't need any extra stress, I would say do what you can at work and don't worry about the rest. Our little ones should be the most important things in the world right now.

natural contractions are pretty much the same as induced contractions (i've had both), but pitocin usually makes contractions more intense and a faster labor. You will know it come time. Good luck!!

The best things I have found for congestion are a hot shower, breathing in the steam through your nose, and a humidifier in the bedroom going at full blast. Hope you feel better soon!

I swear I get comments on my size EVERY day. They will say 'you are about to pop any day now huh?' and I would tell them no I still have until March and they will say 'there is no way you will make it to March you are way to big!' If I have to hear one more person tell me how big I am I will go nuts!
