I joined this site when I got pregnant, it feels like yesterday, but now our little man Rhys, is here and although we are tired we could not be happier. I loved getting to know people through this site and I hope we stay on here and update eachother as our little ones get bigger! I am pretty nervous about being a first time mom, but i'm sure i'll figure it out.:)

1.7 hours ago Well my baby's formula fed, and I can assure you she's had some of those farts you can here in the other room! Lol! SPUDinTHEoven -
22.9 hours ago Kylie gets really fussy at times too! She's 3 weeks old now. I think you're right and it might be gas. She farts A LOT!!! We use Gripe Water and it doesn't always work, but it does work probably 3/4 of the time, and in those cases she falls fast asleep, it's awesome! I wonder if all baby's are that windy, or if she is just really gassy? chellechelle -
27.6 hours ago Foxitiger had a great idea to add on facebook, so if anyone would like to add me, feel free. I'm on fb way more than this site! I'm Michelle Gonzales from the Inland Empire & my profile pic is my son holding my son. Mention this site or your name from this site so I know who you are mother-and-expecting -
35.6 hours ago Well Alyssa is here sorry i have not been on i just got out of the hospital yesterday. I posted her birth story if you want to read it go ahead. She is a really good baby. She sleeps so good. Last night she slept in my bed and she slept from 11:30 to 6:00 this morning. I am really loving being a mommy of a newborn and 2 toddlers it is the best feeling in the world. It is so much work but it is all so worth it. I think my kids love her. xoxo robyn excitedmisty -
36.3 hours ago we use mylicon for gas (sorry, i can't remember how to spell is this state of exhaustion), but it's a medicine for infants, you can get it at walmart or target...it helps Samuel out a lot with gas...don't worry, we are a couple weeks behind you and going through the same thing! ari08 -
37.2 hours ago Hi ladies! Well Rhys is one month as of yesterday. He is starting to coo a bit more and is entertained if you show a rattle or some him something bright. He is not the easiest baby though. I dunno if its gas or what but he gets really fussy in the early morning hours and is def not any where close to sleeping through the night. Does any one have any advice on this?He sleeps in the bassinet next to our bed, but around 2 :30 am he just starts grunting and squirming. It's hard for mommy to sleep( daddy of course sleeps right through). He also spits up alot. He is breastfed, is this normal? Anyone else having these issues? I hope all your babies are health and happy and that your getting more rest than I am!!! eurekagrls2002 -
46.3 hours ago i cant believe Hailey is already 2 months old (on nov 10th) We went to the drs on the 16 and she weighs 8 lbs 15 oz...still a little peanut but growing good! We have had to switch formulas to Enfamil AR because she was spitting up A LOT and sometimes throwing it all up but this seems to be working but now her poo seems to be harder to get out and maybe her tummy hurts....not sure...but this formula is a lot thicker so i dont know shes only been on it about a week so we will see how it goes. Hope everyones doing great chellechelle -
Thursday, 19 November Hello ladies! Jordan had his 1st doctor's appointment today and he is doing so well! He's growing. He was 6 lbs 7 oz at birth and today is 8 lbs 5 oz, and he grew 3/4". Everything is great with him, I'm such a proud mommy!!
I'm doing very well, too. I've kinda stopped bleeding but not quite. Now I'm just nervous it's all going to hit like last week and I'm going to have all the menstrual symptoms that suck. But I guess I have no choice but to wait and see. I've started to work out again, but very slowly. Only 30 minutes of cardio, max, and very light weights. I can't wait to get back into it full on.
I can honestly say I do not miss being pregnant at all! I know a lot of women miss being pregnant but not me! I can sleep on my stomach, and roll over at night without having to hold my stomach, and I don't pee every hour!! I love it! Plus I love having my little boy in my arms rather than my tumtum. AND no heartburn, yay!! That was a silent killer!
Anyway, I hope all you new mommies and your little ones are doing excellent. And all you mommies who are still pregnant, keep healthy!

Thursday, 12 November Ok so I had my 34w appt today and I told the nurse I had felt a little leakage but none in a few days she contacted my dr and they sent me to labor and delivery the hooked me up and i was getting contractions every 3-5 min Dr told her not to give me a shot to stop them becasue i was so far along and if i went into labor it would be fine well they sent me to ultra sound and found out my fluids are low so doc ordered bed rest and sunday I have to go in for a non stress test at labor and delivery and than monday i have to go see him for an ultrasound to see if my levels are still low (: Im pretty sure that if they are still low they will keep me there on complete bedrest and if they continue to stay low induce I only say that because my cousins wife had a similiar problem.. we will see jacquecmsu -
Thursday, 12 November Quick Update: Yes, I'm still pregnant. Went to doctor's today and he thinks my heart-shaped uterus + long cervix is why I can't progress but, I want to give mother nature a chance- I told him I didn't want to induce again (too painful ). He said that's fine for now as long as my blood pressure remains good and if she has enough fluid. So, we did an u/s and yes, she has plenty of fluid and hasn't really dropped much but, is in the position to come out. The u/s tech said she has lot of hair! And, that she's not too, too big. The doc. said if baby isn't here by Wed. then, we must induce again and if that doesn't work... c-section (which I'm totally OK with) Tonight's inducing try: bouncing on gym ball for hours {and I'm NOT kidding}
