It's a girl!!

Had two ultrasounds to determine this, she is very modest!! We are soo excited!

Feeling Pregnant!

I am soo excited that I am pregnant but I am a little freaked out about month number 9 because of the whole birthing part! I have seen 3 births in person and can still remember how crazy and painful it looked! I am so excited to have a new addition just a little nervous. I have been doing pretty good, I just feel hungry all of the time! I have to eat about every 2-3 hours! I have been eating very healthy, hardly any candy or sugar, and lots of veggies and fruit! My boobs are still a little tender but are starting to feel a little better. I also have to get up 1-2 times a night to go to the bathroom already?! There must already be pressure on my small bladder : ( I don't want that to get worse!! I have my first doctors appointment on the 26th of November and can't wait!! It feels so far away, I will be 9 weeks when I go to the appointment. I still haven't told any family members yet and am trying my hardest to hold out until Christmas Day!! I can't wait to tell everyone!!!

I was throwing up a lot the last few weeks...finally figured out it was my prenatal vitamins after skipping them a few days to see what would happen. I contacted my doctor's office, and was told to take Flintstone vitamins and 1 gram of folic acid along with them. Check with your doctor and see if they recommend the same thing. I am running out of room, and the baby is sitting really high, so I think my stomach just couldn't process everything as quickly and the vitamins were upsetting my stomach by sitting there so long and up so high (lots of acid reflux!). The Flintstones/folic acid combo appear to be working as I haven't been sick anymore! Maybe this is what's going on with you?! Hope you feel better soon!

Congrats on your pregnancy.
Avery is a very rare name in Australia where we are. much more common in the states. I hope your nephew is loved as much as our little avery joseph! On week 6 now and things are fantastic. Good luck!

Thanks for the message. It is SO very difficult isn't it? Finding a bra that fits AND is comfortable... I like Motherhood's clothes but the help there isn't very helpful. Thanks for letting me know about the Cup sizes...why can't they just stick with what we know? lol

Try Walmart. They have a great selection under $300 and people write reviews on them which is what helped me decide.

Try looking on craigslist.org or freecycle.org for a crib. You might just find the crib you want. (and cheap or for FREE!) Where I live we also have neighborhood yard sale websites. (kingwoodyardsales.com) You might want to check and see if you've got yard sale websites where you live. I hope you find the crib you want and for the price you want!

We're having a horrible time deciding what to do! It's driving me crazy! Target also has good priced furniture as well as JC Penny but a lot of that is back ordered as well. Even if you do get something that doesn't come in right away are you going to have the baby sleep in your room for a while in a bassinet? I keep thinking of that so I don't worry. My boy will be sleeping in there for probably 3 months...or until he stays asleep all night.
*i looked at Target and they have one for 309 but they have 15% off right now....it's Bassettbaby too which is what we ordered for our first and we really think it's good quality. Sorry this was so long but I totally have issues in this dept right now

I don't know where you live at, but I too had a hard time finding some baby furniture that I liked for a reasonable price. My mom looked online at Wal-Mart and we found a great price and they do free site to store shipping. That saves you a ton of money if you can get the free shipping. The furniture we got is Storkcraft, which is very good quality and we have it all put together and waiting on baby. I am very happy with the crib and dresser set that we got for about less than $400 for both. I would have never thought to look at Wal-Mart. Good luck

HillaryB - Tuesday, 18 Mar
I passed my 3 hour test.Have you went for your 3 hour test yet?

HillaryB - Thursday, 13 Mar
I'm sure you're fine, just cut back on your sugar.Like, use safe sugar substitutes when you absolutly need something sweet. My doctor told me to drink things like crystal light.Check with your doctor about the aspertane.I know from weight watchers, there are some really good 'sugar free'deserts out there. But really you should be able to eat anything right now in moderation.NObody has told you that you have it for sure.I know I have had a reality check, and I'm still going to take it easy on all food.(portions)Sometimes it feels like I have a bottomless pit. LOL It's funny because now I check all sugar grams on everything!!!!!!!!!!

HillaryB - Wednesday, 12 Mar
Today I took my 3 hour glucose test, which is really a total of 4 hours all together. And sadly my doctor is on vacation until monday,so his assistant called me to say she's almost 100% sure I passed all 4 tests.(She doesn't read them often.)so hopefully the doctor will agree on Monday. She should know something about it right????I think she just doesn't want to put the final stamp on it because she's not the doctor. If she had any doubts she wouldn't have called. So don't panic.

i am in the uk and i think the tests ardifferent here, we have one test that is two hours between bloods, i am still waiting for result but it is soooooo nerve wrecking waiting, hope all goes well for you

HillaryB - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Hi,I go tomorrow for the BIG test @7am My doctors office told me not to eat after 10pm (nothing),But I'm not eating after 7pm.Maybe just water until 10pm.so today I have been eating as healthy as possible no sweets and less carbs(more protein) This probably won't help me. In the beginning I drank all 100% juice. My doctor said NO, NO, No !!!!!! Too much sugar.more than 11 glazed donuts. But I hear that it's common to flunk the 1st and pass the second. I wish you well. I'll let you know what happens.

excitedtoseebaby - Tuesday, 11 Mar
My sister in law failed the first one but passed the second. The dr told her to still cut out the pop and fruit. I go next week, I suspect I will fail it as well.

blessed-in-atl - Tuesday, 11 Mar
I failed the 1st GD test I took, I at a handful of candy on the way to the doctor. They did'nt tell me not to or that I would be taking the GD test that day. I repeated the test 1 week later and this time didn't eat sugar on my way there and passed it. Don't stress yourself out over it! Best wishes

boy..oh..boy - Tuesday, 11 Mar

manda21 - Tuesday, 11 Mar
I had to fast before me glucose test. the doctor made sure I didnt eat or drink anything because he said that it will affect the results. Good luck with the next one:)

shk0910 - Tuesday, 11 Mar
My sister had to go through the 3 hr test after failing the first one. She passed the second one. I wouldn't borrow trouble until you are sure something is wrong.
