Pregnant with baby #2

We are very excited to welcome baby #2 to our family due June 23rd, 2010. We were trying for this baby so I am very excited! We have one little girl that was born June 29th, 2008 she is 15 months right now. The two kiddos will be almost exactly two years apart. I am excited about this baby and hoping I don't get super super sick like I did my first pregnancy. So far so good!

UPDATES:

10/20/09 Got the swine flu shot today, because pregnant women are at the highest risk of contracting it and being hospitalized. I feel okay about getting it. I was 50/50 but I outweighed the risks. I feel completely fine. Wish I didn't have to make that decision, bad timing to be pregnant I guess.

11/3/09 Started throwing up today and 7 weeks along.

if i have a boy what do you guys think of the name Amir? i think it is cute Amani and Amir and my older daughters name is Alijsha give me some suggestions of A names but unique names no adams or andrews lol

Well..... I took the IntelliGender test this morning and it says that another boy is on it's way. I am going to take another one in about a month to see if I get the same result. Only ultrasound and amnio will confirm but at least I know what to expect. A girl would be nice but I guess I am just meant to be surrounded by awesome men =)

Rhondas Third - Friday, 13 November
I got the fetal doppler yesterday and was able to hear the baby's heartbeat very briefly. It was at 143 BPM. Then I was unable to find it again. I'm just going to wait a few more weeks, hopefully by then I won't have any problems finding it. Happy Friday to all and Tons of Baby Dust to my TTC friends =)

I hear everything ur saying. ive never been so sick. all i want to do sleep to but i have a 12 month old. hope all gets better for u. im from canada so i take diclectin instead. it helps but realy only so much :(. ive even lost weight. hopefully it will get much better within 4 weeks for us both. good luck.

OH NO!! You were feeling soo good before! Well, we can be sick together then!! I am nauseous all day long, every day. No vomit yet...(crossing my fingers)! I have been taking the Zofran every day and Unisom at night. I have another appt. on Monday. It still seems a little unreal to my hubby and I. We're still in shock, I suppose. Happy and thrilled, but surprised. We were just prepared to go through a lot more to get pg. Fortunately, it happened without any procedures this time. I hope I don't gain too much this pregnancy. I didn't lose enough to get to my pre-preg. weight after Norah was born...that's ok, though. Hope you're feeling better. I'm here for ya! The whole time...even if you don't feel better until 18 weeks!! 18 weeks???! Hang in there!!

Hey! Still feeling icky? I am a little...the Nurse Prac. told me today to try and keep the belly full, so I am trying....guess what?? We have the same due date now!!

That's what they told me today--also, that everything looks great. The size, heartbeat, everything. Very thankful for that. I got a presc. for Zofran (for nausea) and she said that 1/2 tab of Unisom would be helpful. Hmmm!! She also recommended that I get on some Calcium and that B6 might help with the nausea. Don't want to take too much!! I have a hard time taking my prenatals right now!!
Hope you're doing ok! I am really tired this round...I didn't have any symptoms w/Norah. I wasn't sick or anything and I didn't feel pregnant (but I was in denial, too!)!! It's hard to stay up with things now that I am not feeling good. Fortunately, my Ma is here visiting. I'm nervous about her leaving!! TTYS! Hope you're doing good.
