My names Becky Hill and I live in the West Midlands in the U.K.

I gave birth to my first baby via C-Section on 24th April 2008, a little boy going by the name of Asher Savini Hill :-) He is amazing! And such a tarte with the ladies! Lol. We love him with all our hearts :-)

I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby, due sometime in August 2009! Looks like we caught first try again - which does slightly freak me out to tell you the truth! I was shocked enough when it happened with Asher, but then when I knew it had happened again, well, needless to say we're going to be EXTREMELY careful when we are not trying for a baby - sex in suits of armour me thinks?????

We caught with Asher straight after my Husband and I were Handfasted last year by the magical Nana Nik! I'm Wiccan, but would love to be friends with people of all religions, as I feel we can all offer each other support - I have some soul mate Christian friends and respect anyone who 'preaches' love, respect and helping others! And just for the record I don't do any naked dancing round my garden - that would not be fun for anyone involved! Lol. Idid do a spell to banish my periods though in Nov, and hell, it looks like it mighta worked!!!!!!! Oh please don't worry - I've mentioned my faith here just so you all know a bit about me, but its not something I talk about that much - you wont get creepy emails! Lol. XX

We know what hard work it will be as we had a baptism of fire with Asher, he was a NIGHTMARE, and pretty poorly at the beginning, so we're hoping 2nd time round we'll be well armed! Lol. He's doing so well now and is crawling like a commando, he's devouring anything in his path, and we think he would go the whole hog and sit down to a plate of steak and chips if we let him!

I work in Admin at a local Children's Centre, I'm due to go back 5th Jan (which I'm not particulary looking forward to nor dreading!) and I'll be walking back through that door with my second bun in the oven! Lol. My rights are all in order though, so my second maternity leave will be as normal! Yay!

I'd love to hear from anyone really, either trying for a baby or pregnant, esp. any folk who know they have got to have a c-section - I think I could provide valuable reassurance! I know some people dread them but my own opinion based on the experience I had is......THEY ROCK!!!!!!! I'll have one for sure next time round, and if it goes as smooth as the first time it'll be a great experience! In fact, I think I'll enjoy the second time round a whole lot better in general - some of the fear of the unknown will have disappeared I guess :-)

If I'm honest I never though I would have children. I suffered from severe depression in my teens/eary twenties as well as bulimia and heavy drinking. I basically convined myself I was dying and lived with a HUGE fear of hospitals and childbirth - even the thought of carrying a baby scared the living daylights out of me! Rich was ready for children years ago, and stuck by me even though I was unsure as to whether I'd ever even have them. Finally aged 27 I realised I had to take action, I was obsessed with death and dying and even though I'd won some battles myself I couldn't rid myself of all my demons alone. I attended Hypnotherpay and a clinical psychologist for almost 3 years. Both were helpful, but the hypnotherpay saved my life. I finally gained the courage to try for a baby....the rest as they say is history! I did bow out of the childbirth bit and was granted an elective c-section, which was great. So I killed 2 birds with 1 stone, faced my fear of acrrying a child and surgery! Whoop! Lol. If I can be of help to anyone it would be a pleasure.....my faith helped me a great deal, but other tactics helped too! Lol.......XXX
