Well this is my first pregnancy. I'm completely nervous and maybe just a little scared.

My significant other is in the Army and is most likely going to be gone when the baby is born. He has training and is supposed to get back any where from May 13th to May 17th. So hopefully his son waits for him. Oh yeah and we're having a boy. Yay!

The reason he'll be gone for training is because they're probably going to deploy to Iraq in August boo... I have no family where we are, and am so worried that when I call a friend they won't answer or something like that. But I guess thats the military for you.

I hope it's just my hormones causing the cat(s) to pee on the floor... They are the best cats I've ever had otherwise! They are very playful and lovey, are not afraid of the kids, and just a joy to have around.
So how are you doing? Still hanging in like me? I had contractions every 10 minutes for 6 hours last night.. Then they just STOPPED! grrr... I've had enough... I want my body back. My poor kids want Mommy to be able to play outside with them again. My hubby wants a clean house again.....

No problem! Now, when you go in that early, they will probably say "you aren't dilated enough for us to keep you"...but alot of times they have you walk the halls for an hour or two, to see if you dilate more...I'm sure they would agree with that (and not just send you back home to labor more) if you explain your situation.

With my first baby, I could have driven myself to the hospital, because, like most first labors, it started out slowly. I had a whole day of calm contractions before I felt like I wanted to go in...So you just might be able to drive yourself!

Thank you for your offers of prayer and your encourgment! I have a wonderful relationship with the adoptive family, and know I am doing the right thing. For both this child, and for my family. It still doesn't make it easy, though.Continued prayers would surely be appreciated!
I will be praying for you, also, that your military man makes it home in time for the birth of your little boy.

Are they out of network? Mine pays 90% I pay 10%. This is after the 300 dollar deductable. Total should be 600ish including deductable.

im not sure actually...i think every doc kind of has their own ideas of how much weight pregnant wmoen should gain...and i think it depends on how much they were to begin with...i just hear of some women on this site saying that they havent gained a single pound yet!!! WHAT??? there is no way i could not give into my cravings and indulge hehehe

hey no problem! Yeah def tell your doctor, what were you doing when you saw the spots? if you were in the shower maybe you got a little too hot. (which can raise your blood pressure) I'm sure you're ok. our bodies do really wacky things being prego!

by the way i'm so sorry your husband may get deployed... that happened to my sister... her husband left the day she found out she was pregnant but got to come home when my nephew was born for 2 weeks...

no she really didnt' say anything about them cuz they only lasted about 1 minute if that... i kept looking around and moving my head to get them to go away... and i was only sitting for about 10 minutes... i sit way longer than that at work and i haven't seen them while i'm here at work!! i've seen spots before but my eye doctor has told me its just floaters in my eye and its nothing to worry about.. but the "stars" were way weird!!
