What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be slightly overcast. Your baby will arrive in the evening.

After a labor lasting approximately 14 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and will be 20 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and some blond hair.

(Well this doesn't sound too unreasonable.....14 hours is alot better than 40!!! lol!) :))

June 26th~

Last night I passed my mucous plug. I have had increased discharge that looked like water for the last few days and when I brought this up to my nurse today she sent me to Labor & Delivery to make sure everything was okay. They were so great there. They got me right back into a room and hooked up to the monitors. It was cool to watch my little man's heartrate, but a little surprising when I saw how many contractions I was having. They did my exam (not fun) and ran my sample under a microscope. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! :) The nurse confirmed that I did lose a part of my mucous plug but not to worry because it would regenerate itself. So that was a relief. I am not leaking any fluid (which I figured) but she said it is ALWAYS best to come in if you question it at all because it is something they do not mess around with. She said that I am having contractions so I need to take it easy and make sure I stay up on my fluids. then I was sent home! :) I am glad everything is okay! I have to say that my poor Tiernan hated those monitors though. He had great aim and kicked them HARD the whole time I was there!! HAHAHA! :)

July 10th~

So last week (July 3rd) I had a tooth extracted. The next day we went to St. George for my nephews blessing and a surprise baby shower for me that I wasn't aware of......(my fiance's family threw me one!!! it was wonderful! :)) The whole time however I was in agony!!! I even called the dentist 5 days after getting my tooth pulled and said I thought it was infected. All she did was perscribe me more pain killers which I HATE HATE HATE taking! Well it has been a week and no improvement. My mouth is still in pain and because I don't want to keep taking pain killers I am pretty much EATING anbesol! BLAH! I hope this goes away soon! When I first got my mouth worked on I actually lost about 3 lbs. NOW however I have gained it ALL back plus 3 more!! GOOD GREIF!!! LOL! :) Other than that Tiernan seems fine. He doesn't move around as much which kinda scares me but I have a doc appt. monday so we'll get to see for sure how everything is...:)

July 14th~

Well I had my doctor appt. today. It has been five weeks since my last one since I had to reschedule because I was in St. George, and I was really surprised by how it went. Don't get me wrong everything looks great. Tiernan is healthy and VERY active and is growing nicely. I was just surprised at the fact I have LOST 5 lbs. The doctor said that happens somtimes and is not concerned because Tiernan is still getting bigger and sounds really healthy. I am measuring 2 weeks small, but like I said nothing to be concerned about. It's just strange because I eat like a horse! I can out eat Shawn EASY now (and if you know Shawn you know how much he LOVES his food) :) Oh well as long as Baby Tiernan is healthy and happy then SO AM I! :)

My doctor also felt my pelvis and confirmed that my once fused pelvis is starting to seperate. Very common in second pregnancies(he says it usually doesn't happen with your first) I guess your pelvis in made up of 6 bones and are normally fused together.....mine are not anymore, which is why I have been in so much pain lately. It's getting a more difficult to walk, sit, sleep...well pretty much everything BUT it will all be SOOOOO worth it. ONLY 6 AND A HALF MORE WEEKS!!! Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday I was holding the pregnancy test up yo Shawn shaking laughing and crying!! LOL! Now our little boy is almost here.I can't wait! :) Well I will update again soon! :)

July 27th~

Ug!I have a stupid headache and it's driving me insane. It's not bad...just that dull throb.....I have had it for the last few days now and nothing I do seems to get rid of it. Oh the joys of pregnancy! LOL! :)

I am getting more and more anxious everyday for baby Tiernan to arrive. Last night Shawn and I went to pick up the stroller that matches our carseat and he put it together when we got home. It is SOOO adorable I LOVE IT! It's strange to think that in 4.5 weeks my son will be sitting in it!!! (hopefully a little sooner!! HAHA) I have a doctor appt. on Tuesday and I wonder what is going to happen. At my last appt. my weight didn't go up at all from what it was the appt. before, but it seems that in just TWO short weeks a have more than made up for it! WTH!? According to my scale I have packed on 5 lbs!! Oh well, as long as Tiernan is healthy then it's all worth it. I just hope he is not TOO BIG to get out!! Wouldn't that be dandy!? Keiley was only 7lbs 4 oz. and she got STUCK! So yes I am a little nervous.

We also have Keiley's birthday coming up and I am really excited! MY BABY WILL BE 5!! CRAZY! We are doing a whole princess fairy theme and I want it to be the most perfect day for her. She has a brother coming anyday and I want her to have her special day too...:) It's gonna be great! Well I will let you know more after my appt. TIL THEN! :)

July 31st~

Okay so I am a little late on this..lol. Just been SUPER crazy around here with the baby coming and planning Keiley's b-day and moving and blah blah blah! LOL :) Well I had my doctor appt. on Tuesday. The stupid scale didn't work so I had to tell them what I think I weigh based on my at home scale....seriously? That was so lame! Keiley went with me and she LOVES when she gets to hear the baby's heartbeat! It was SO strong and seemed alot faster than the last time. It was so wonderful to hear. As far as size goes...I have been measuring between 1 to 2 weeks small since the start..until NOW!! HAHAHA!! In two weeks I have grown 3cm! So not only did I catch up but I am now measuring 1 cm ahead. GOOD GRIEF! I knew I wasn't crazy when I told Shawn I felt WAY bigger this week! Oh well, doc said baby is healthy and in position. I have ONE MORE two week appt. on the 12th ( I will be 37 weeks) and then I go every week after that. He said he is gonna check me for dilation and effacement on the 12th and despite the pain of it I am super excited. I don't remember him checking me until almost 39 weeks with Keiley so this is exciting. HOPEFULLY I have made SOME progress. I have my induction on the 29th (same as due date) but I would LOVE to go naturally if I could. Even though Keiley's labor and delivery was LOOOONG and painful and a very hard recovery it's a story I am proud to tell.:) Of course having the "control" of the induction would be really nice too! LOL :) Either way as long as everything turns out okay is fine with me!

Oh one little cute story...Keiley loves to put her head on my belly to "hear the baby's heart beap" lol. Well lately everytime she puts her head on my belly Tiernan kicks her head. She loves it..she says "SEE MOM? HE IS ALREADY PLAYING WITH ME! HE LOVES ME!" Oh it melts my heart!!! She is my angel!
