My name is Ashley and I am now 28 years old. I was married to my husband on September 22, 2007 and we found out we were pregnant on October 29, 2007. We wasted no time getting pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and so far everything has gone very smooth. I am now 28 weeks pregnant and waiting for the day when I can hold my little boy in my arms.

Going to the doctor on Jan 16th. Can `t wait to be able to see my baby again. Hoping to find out the sex. Everyone says it `s a boy so that is what I truely beleive, but who knows. Just too excited!Monday, 14 Jan
The coolest thing happened today. I coughed and as soon as I finished, I felt my baby going crazy inside me. It was so awesome. I;ve thought I `ve felt movement already but nothing like this. It makes it so real now. I know he `s in there. It got me really excited. Can `t wait to go to the doc on Wed.Thursday, 17 Jan
Didn `t find out the sex today, but it `s ok. I can wait another month. Finding out on Valentine `s Day, so that will be my present. Was happy today cause a girl at work said she thinks it `s a girl. Counting down the days until I go to the doc again. We hopefully find out what we are having on Thursday, Valentines Day. Only 4 more days to go! Hope the baby cooperates and we can find out. The longest month of my life!!!!Tuesday, 12 Feb

I think I got bigger yesterday. Even my hubby came home from work and noticed. Time is flying by, which is nice. I am just really excited about this beautiful baby boy. Still haven `t decided on a name. It will happen.Tuesday, 11 Mar
I freaked out last night because I realized that I lost my ankles. It was then that I realized that my body is going to hell now. I am going to cut back on salt and hopefully that will cure my swollen ankles. Starting to get uncomfortable, mostly at night after a long day. 4 more months of this. Wonderful. Luckily I have a wonderful husband that really understands, because he `s been through it twice already. It `s like he knows what is going to happen before I do. Kinda nice.Thursday, 13 Mar
Went to the doctor today. It went good besides waiting over an hour to get seen. Baby boy is doing good, getting big. Good heart rate. We are both excited because in 4 weeks we get our 3-D ultrasound. Can `t wait! I get to see my little mans face. And we on;y have 1 more appointment that is 4 weeks apart, and then it becomes every two weeks. Time is just flying by!Wednesday, 19 Mar
I am feeling my baby boy more and more, and higher and higher. I can tell that he has a sleep schedule now, and as of right now, he seems to be sleeping through the night. I hope he keeps that up when he comes out. THat would be nice. I am probably jinxing myself right now. We haven `t decided on any names yet. It is such a huge decision that I don `t think he will actually have a name until I get to meet him. I love him so mush, even though I am getting more uncomfortable by the hour. I signed up for Classes today. We don `t start until May 6th, which seems like forever away. But I am excited. Getting really uncomfortable to sit st the desk all day long. I try to get up and walk because it feels like my baby boy is up under my ribs already. The right side under my ribs hurt, like a side ache. I can `t wait for him to hurry up and get out here. I am excited because in 2 weeks we get to actually see his face. I bet he is sooo cute. I am just really excited!Tuesday, 1 Apr
I am so excited to be in week 27 already. Time really flew by, now that I think about it. 13 weeks is nothing compared to the 27 weeks that we have already gone through. I love my baby so much already, I can `t even imagine the love I am going to feel when I see my baby boy for the first time. We get to see his little face next week, which is somrthing that I am really excited about. I want to see him!

First day of week 29. Time is flying by. Hope the last 11 weeks go fast. I want to meet my baby boy so desperately. I want to know the kind of love you feel for your children. Ernie knows that love, with Kirk and Daniel, and I love those kids so much, but I want to know the love of my own child. Only 77 days until my due date. It's getting here. I am getting bigger and bigger and it is now hard to bend over. I can't wait!!! I want my body back. But I guess I can wait 2 1/2 more months. My baby boy is so beautiful. We got the 3-D u/s done last Thursday. He is so handsome!

Haven't updated on here in a bit. We are finally towards the end of week 31. I am so excited. All I can think of is this baby. I sometimes wish I didn't have such a one tracked mind, but I do have a baby boy growing inside me. Ernie is also very excited. We both can't wait to meet our little man, little Dylan Michael.

We are now in week 34. Can you beleive it? I can not comprehend that in about 6 weeks I will be holding my little boy, my own son. It seems like I have been pregnant forever and that I am just going to continue being pregnant. It's hard to beleive that there is actually gonna be something that is going to come out of me, and be with me for the rest of my life. I am going to be a mom. A real mom. Kirk and Daniel are basically my kids, but to actually give birth to my own child... Love the feeling. Everything has been going pretty smooth, besides getting food poisoning last week. That was horrible. Had to go to the hospital because I didn't know what was wrong with me. I was in horrible pain, I was vomiting, and that was making me dehydrated. They pumped me full of fluids, and basically sent me on my way. That sucked! Took about a week to get better, but today I am feeling great. Ready to see Dylan, and so are the kids. They are getting so excited. They will be great big brothers. 34 weeks down, 6 to go. Hopefully less, but who knows.
Friday, 6 June
Well, we made it to week 36, and we are actually almost 37 weeks. I am so anxious to get Dylan out of my belly and into my arms. Ernie also is very anxious, and we just can't wait. We finished all 5 of our childbirth classes and went on a tour of the hospital. We both feel very ready to have our son in this world. My baby shower is tomorrow at moms house, which I am very excited about. A few people from work are driving up, and I am riding with Grandma and Sheryl. I went to the doctor yesterday, and he checked me and I am dialated to 1cm. Hope I have this boy in the next couple weeks. Starting to be even more uncomfortable and have more contractions, besides the fact that he is constantly moving and making my stomache change shapes. It ahs been fun, but I am just ready to hold my son, and see his face. I want him out and into my life. Please Dylan, come out and meet your mommy.

Our 2 year anniversary is June 2nd, and we were off birth control for a year before we got pregnant.. i was getting scared!

i'm glad i'm not the only one!! lol!! I told my co-workers that all i need is a little helium to lighten me up and help me get to where i need to go.
i can imagine it must be boiling there. I've been to Phoenix in the summer and I could hardly breathe. Swimming is really good for you though! I'm thinking of going to the local aquatic center and swimming a few times a week. It's good for getting the baby in the right position and it also feels really good too!!
Thankfully, i dont ever have to get up at night to pee.. isnt that weird!? My first trimester i was getting up about 3 times a night... once i entered 2nd trimester, it was over and i've gotten up to pee like one time the entire time... my bladder must be in a weird position.
this is my 3rd baby, but my first that i'm actually having. I got pregnant twice in high school and my mom made me have abortions :( I've regretted them my entire young adult life.. and this baby really is my little miracle because i always thought i'd never be able to have babies again (i guess as a way to punish myself for not standing up to my mom) I cannot wait to see his face :)

weeelllll... i dont know about the more energy thing.. LOL!!!
I was feeling REALLY energetic until week 32.. last week was pretty hard and i felt fatigued all week and this week i do feel more alert and awake than last, but since it's harder for me to walk, i dont feel as vibrant as i would like to. LOL!!
I usually walk 30 mins during my lunch break everyday and if i dont get to because of rain, i get on my gazelle at night and watch CSI. This has kept me energetic all along. I went to the park last night and i was walking so slow, it felt like i'd never make it to the bench...so i figured it's not a good time to try some speed walking.
are u having problems walking? or feeling like you're walking really slow?

yeah it hurt, but only for like 2 days then it peeled and looked weird now it just looks weird cause of the tan line. luckly when i got the burn I was wearing the dress i got for my shower, so at the shower you couldnt see the lines. :)

Yup, the copper IUD is good for ten years. It is more than 99% safe, and for me it has been a great blessing so far. Some women, however, seem to have problems with it, but I am certainly not one of them. I like to be in control of my life, and having the IUD has allowed me to decide when and how I wanted to get pregnant. Talk to your doctor about it. Maybe it'll work as well for you as it did for me. As I mentioned in my post, I can only recommend the copper IUD. I used it since I was 23, and the moment I took it out (nearly ten years later) I got pregnant the next month. I didn't even know it was there while it was inside of me, and I never had problems. Apparently some women did not have the same great experience, but it worked miracles for me.

That's good! and YES!!! i'm so ready to see and hold my baby!
My pregnancy now is going ok-my first trimester was hell! i was in and out of the hospital, dehydrated, severly fatigued, i couldn't keep anything down-not even water. i lost about 20lbs in my first trimester.
My 2nd trimester was pretty breezy-and now my 3rd is going great-occasionally i get bad lower back cramps and pain but its all worth it =)

yes I cant wait til my little guy is here. I bet you cant wait for your little guy either. I bet daddy is really excited. I'm doing EVERYTHING to try and get labor going sooner than my due date but nothing seems to help. grrrrrr Oh well he will be here soon.
