Where we live we can only wallpaper, and not paint which sux. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!! I had only gained 2 pounds in two weeks wich is good considering my weight gain has been crazy! And I'm in the 8th month lol. I measured 31 cm which means I am right on track at 31 weeks. The baby's heartbeat was 156 and sounded really good. She is already heads down which was a good sign to me because I have a heart shaped uterus and the doctor told me the baby might not have enough room to go into head down posistion. Hopefully she will stay that way!!! I've been having a few dizzy spells and for some reason I keep getting nausiated. The doctor said It may be the heat but we're not sure. I've never had morning sickness at all and I doubt I would be getting it this far along. Who knows tho!!! My husband has been sick and something is going around where he works so maybe thats what it is. I sure hope it goes away soon!!! I feel soo bad for those of you who have/had morning sickness. July 17, 2007Okay, when I found out I was pregnant, I wasnt sure when my last period was so the dr was basing my due date on how my uterus was measuring. Last night, I stumbled upon the planner where I had wrote down all my periods. (I had lost it before I found out I was preggo). The first day of my last period was November 5th, 2006. If you base my due date on that, I'm not 33 weeks, I'm 37 and due August 12, not September 2!! I know this isn't completely accurate, but my mom was 6 pounds when she was born, my dads mom said all her kids were between 5 & 6 pounds, my brother was 6 pounds, and I was 5 pounds 1 oz. So my mom says I may be carrying small!! I dont know what to think!! To top it all off, I have a baby book with what to expect during pregnancy and I have always been a month ahead with the symptoms!! Does any body have any suggestions?? Am I 33 weeks or do you think I am possibly 37 weeks?? YIKES!!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~July 19, 2007Well I had another doctors appointment today. Brookelyn's heart beat was 160 and she was still heads down. Which is a good sign!! I'm measuring 32 cm. I asked the doctor about my LMP and he said that he believed I was still 33 weeks. He said he was basing it on my 19 week ultrasound. My mom and I aren't so sure, so we went out and bought some newborn diapers, wipes, pacifiers. bottles and a few other things since I haven't had my baby shower yet, just in case I go into labor. My braxton hicks are getting pretty intense but he said that was normal. My baby shower is Aug 4th and I can't wait!! I should be getting the crib this weekend or maybe the next so I can finally get her bedding put in it lol and then after my shower I can organize her room and it will be done and I can post a few pics! Brookelyn's heartbeat was 156, the doctor said it was good and strong. She is still heads down. I had my group B strep test done, and it wasnt that bad at all, everyone I talked to said it was horrible, and its not! The doctor said I am dialated 1cm and 30% effaced!! I still have 5 weeks left! Maybe she will be here early! My baby shower is this saturday and I'm excited to see what everyone got Brookelyn!! I worked on her room last night and finally got it done! Well almost, I cant paint where I live and its too much of a hassle to wallpaper. We have a crib, but its at my grandparents house 4 hours away and the doctor wont release me to make that trip and my hubby works too much to go get it. But we have a pack n' play that is where her crib will be for now and she can sleep in it because it has a bassinet in it!! Anyways, I am getting excited and anxious for Brookelyn to get here and see her and hold her. I had another doctors appointment today. I have to go once a week now!! I'm 36 weeks and still measuring small. Brookelyn's heartbeat was a good, strong 160. My group B strep test came back negative, which is good!! I told the doctor that over the past week and weekend that I have been cramping and having alot of pressure between my legs and alot of discomfort. I told him my Braxton Hicks have been getting alot stronger and more often. He done another exam to check things out and I am only 2 cm dialated and Brookelyn is still heads down. Hopefully she will stay that way! I am very tired because I am having alot of trouble sleeping and getting comfortable at night. I have to take some more pictures of her room so I can post them above this were I have a spot for them haha. We had our baby shower over the weekend and we recieved 4 bags of Newborn diapers, and we already had one, and 2 bags of the next size up. We also recieved 6 containers of baby wipes and ALOT of baby shampoo, lotion, baby wash, and baby bath!!! We recieved alot of other really nice things as well and as soon as I can get the pictures uploaded onto my computer I will post them!!!

Well I had another weekly doctors appointment today. I had some bad, painful contractions last night and I expected the doctor to check me again to see if I have dialted anymore, but he didn't. He ended up sending me to L&D to be monitored for a while. He said my blood pressure was a little high and I had a small trace of protien in my urine and irregular contractions so he wanted to monitor me. I was there for about 2 hours and they drew alot of blood and done an exam, and the nurse said I was still 2 cm dialated and she could feel the baby's head. Her head is still "floating" so she hasn't lodged herself in the birth canal just yet but she is getting close. They also had me do a non-stress stress test where I had to hit a button every time I felt the baby move to see if I was feeling the baby move when they were picking up her movements. I didn't feel her move for a while so they made me drink an RC and then she started moving alot haha. Her heartbeat was good and strong and I had a few contractions even and she showed me how to read the monitor. After almost 2 hours they came in and said everything looked good and I could go home, but if I started to feel lightheaded or see spots or just feel like something is wrong to come back in b/c my blood pressure was going up and down. SO I had a pretty hectic day. I came home and tried to sleep and couldn't so after my hubby left for work I layed down on the couch at about 5 pm and slept till 9:30!!! I slept so good too!! I'm still tired but I was hungry and needed to up date on here. Maybe Brookelyn is getting ready! I'm so anxious for her to be here and I wonder how much longer we have!!
