My name is Ashley and i am a first time mommie! Im not sure what im having, my baby likes to keep it's legs crossed during every u/s i have so im in suspense right now!! Hoping for a boy, but i will be happy with whatever im blessed with.

Feb. 15th

I found out today that im having a girl!!! I got to see her really well for the first time today, and it was amazing to watch her move her arms, and lips...I am excited beyond words and cant wait to meet my little angel. The Dr said my cervix is continuing to shorten out in length, so next week they will start me on medication to prevent pre-term labor....i am just praying to make it to 37 weeks........

Mar. 19th

Tomorrow I have another Dr appt. I am getting so anxious for her to get here. I really feel like i've been pregnant forever!! My baby shower is next weekend, so that is keeping me motivated, otherwise i think i would melt down. Im tired of working, resting, and being pregnant period!!! I hope all you other ladies are surviving!!

Mar.26th

today i have a Dr appt to check on the growth of the baby and i am soooo nervous because BD is gonna be there. I have not seen him in 3 months and its gonna be really weird. Pray for me ladies....

Apr.17

I had another Dr appt today, and my Doc says everything is great. She is happy i made it to 34 weeks due to my shortening cervix, and says the baby should be fine if she was to come now. It has been almost a month since BD and i have been talking and i am so happy to have things normal again. we have both matured and grown so much in the last 3 months and i am grateful for the time spent apart. We both appriciate each other alot more. He is so excited about his daughter and i am just happy he is apart of our lives again. Its crazy how strong love is...no matter how hard times may seem, believing in the power of love will get you through the toughest times!!

Apr 19th/20th

So last night Anthony and i got some Boston Market(good chicken!!) and came home to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks which was the cutest movie i have seen in forever. After the movie we had some fun(hehe) and then the pain began...OH MY GOODNESS, i could not believe how bad i was cramping!! My lower abdomen and lower back hurt soooo bad and after an hour i had to called the Doc. I was instructed to drink two large glasses of water and lie on my side for the next hour. AFter forcing myself to drink the water,i proceeded to lay down and deal with the cramping that was not getting any better.....30 minutes later i got the worst sharp pain in my back, it was so bad i fell on the floor in tears. Poor Anthony was so scared...and i thought oh no, she is really coming this time!! instead the complete opposite happend....i felt the sudden urge to throw up and bye bye went my boston market! I threw up like never before! As excited i was for her to come, i quickly was disappointed, and now have been experiencing BH every since...the last 18 hours have been horrible, and i've decided im never having sex again until she is out of me!! She obviously does not like her space inturrupted, and i refuse to have another night like last night....Pray for me ladies!!

May 12th

I GOT THE BEST MOTHERS DAY GIFT EVER!! THE ARRIVAL OF MY BABY GIRL....AUBREY LANIYA LINDSAY IS HERE!!!!! @ 12:12 AM ON 5.10.08 6POUNDS, 3 OUNCES!!! SHE IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!! I LOVE BEING A MOM!!
