Hello ladies!

I had a mc in november, so i'm really keeping my fingers crossed, and hoping that this time the little one decides to stick with me.

Happy and healthy pregnancies to everyone!

Thursday, 21 Feb

Well, i `m in the middle of my seventh week, which makes me want to make time go faster. I `m still not over my damn flu even tho i `ve been sick for over a week now, but finally it seems to be getting a bit better. I `m nauseas everyday and usually the whole day, starting from when i wake up and ending when i fall asleep (sometimes now even then).I can `t really sleep at nights, and i `m lucky if i get to eat twice a day. But well at least i `m now vomiting all the time, only sometimes :)I thought i would be soooo happy when i finally get pregnant, but somehow i `m just tired and anxious, i hope it `ll change soon.

Wee! It `s 7w 1 d already!I `ve been eating a bit better lately, some days even three times a day! :D Gladly enough i i only throw up from time to time, i `m mostly just feeling really nauseas. My flu is almost gone and i `ve started to sleep better too.I `m getting a bit worried tho, since i haven `t been to the doctor yet and it `s gonna take me another couple of weeeks till i can even get there, but i hope everything is okay.I `ve been wondering lately, how unhealthy exactly Coca-Cola is? It seems to make me feel better. Well, i think that `s it, don `t even have much to complain about this time :) Oh by the way, is anyone having bad mood swings? Do u get annoyed easily?

How`s my pregnancy doing?

Hiya. Glad to hear all is ok with you and baby is still active! I think mine still has enough room to move around quite a bit. I can sometimes feel its feet kicking out to the side when I am in bed lying on my side but during the day I feel its feet kicking higher up. Apparently their sense of balance and which way up they are kicks in this week so maybe it doesn't like being upside down! I haven't had heartburn as much recently (its horrible, like tasting acid at the back of your throat). My belly has suddenly got massive though... has yours? I have definitely put on at least 9kgs too and the rest is yet to come as the baby is only a third of its total weight right now! I've also been sooo tired recently - I didn't get up until 1pm today and I kept falling asleep every time I shut my eyes! Also have a very sweet tooth! Do you have any cravings... and have you had any scans yet?
Take care, write soon

That baby is getting big, girl! i know you are getting excited. Well, ill be watching out for you on line today..LUV YA talk to you soon!

TheBunny - Saturday, 19 July
Hi, how are you? Can you believe how quickly time is flying by? We are now third trimester buddies and not long to go!! I'm so excited!
You said your baby wasn't moving lots - I'll bet that has changed in the last week as its got so much bigger? I hope you feel ok though. I am getting so tired lately and can barely get up in the mornings - but i have more energy in the evenings.
About the tea - I have heard that before about black tea and that red bush tea is good. I can only drink peppermint tea which is caffeine free - some other teas give me heartburn.
Hope you are doing well, take care of yourselves! Enjoy your weekend....

Hiya, this is just a quick one as I have to leave to go to work in a minute!! Just wanted to say thanks for your support - I have made a formal complaint about the midwife I saw last time - and apparently its not the first time they've had people complaining, so Im really glad I said something. I have a follow up appointment with my original midwife tomorrow so I can ask all the questions I need to and feel a bit more confident with the care Im getting. So I feel a bit happier
How are things with you? Baby moving lots?!!

Hi!!! Happy 25w!!! I am so happy to hear you have your permit and you can relax a little knowing that you can see a doctor and get your u/s sorted out. Please post your pics as soon as you have them - I can't wait to see!
I saw the midwife today and Im a bit worried. She was really rough when she said lay down on the couch and I'll feel your tummy. She seemed to dig her hands in quite deep when checking the height of the uterus and I hope she hasn't done any harm to the baby I'd be so upset if she has. It really hurt. When I told her it hurt she said 'well its not supposed to'. That made me feel like something was wrong with me! I wish i could change my midwife...

That's fantastic about the get togethers. Friends are vital. I have to get out there more myself. No pain yet from the kicky kicker. How about you?

babblefishie - Tuesday, 24 June
Baby seems to be alright. Kicking like crazy which is really reassuring. I'm starting to get into the groove here in my new city, but it's taking time. What is the weather like in Sweden?

TheBunny - Sunday, 22 June
Hiya, the reason I asked about symptoms is cos no-one has ever checked my cervix since I announced I was pregnant and I've read about it and wondered if there were any symptoms (like pains or anything) as my cervix hasn't been checked. I hope it can be sorted out for you though. Mind you, from next week if our babies are born early they have a 44% chance of survival and that increases with every week so it might not be a bad outcome for you. Fingers crossed!
I am getting soooo tired again now. First trimester was full of tiredness and then I had so much energy, but now I am getting tired again, and getting stitch like pains all down my sides - do you get those?
I think I better get dressed now - its 11.30am and still wandering around in my PJ's... ooops!!
Take care, keep me updated

TheBunny - Saturday, 21 June
ha ha that was so funny what you said about your husband getting kicks and punches in the face. I'm gonna have to try that with my hubby as he's home for a week now he came home late last night (3am actually!!) from his flight back from France and when he crept into bed and put his hand on my tummy, it leapt about and kicked! Obviously knew Daddy was home it was quite active last night and I think today it is mainly sleeping cos I haven't really felt anything. I've got a small collection of baby things now though and I hope I'm not tempting fate by buying things too early... we have got another 4 months to go
So, I'm not really sure about incompetent cervix. What does this mean for you? Will you have to deliver early or can they put a stitch in your cervix to help you hold the baby longer? What makes you think you have this condition... are there symptoms you're having. I really do hope everything works out ok for you and maybe this migration worker can pull their finger out and speed things up so you can be checked that all is well with baby.
Im so glad to have this coming week off work. Im so tired again and keep wanting to fall asleep so the rest is definitely what I need. We are going away to see some friends for some of the week so that will be nice. My back is really hurting me today and I keep getting stomach pains so Im doing practically nothing today and chilling out.
Take care

babblefishie - Friday, 20 June
I'm doing alright, apartment flooded, which was really horrible, but we're coping. Trying to stay positive. How are you?

TheBunny - Friday, 20 June
Hiya!!! How are you? Sorry, been so busy at work... then I get home and Im sooooo tired, I just have to eat and then fall asleep but, thank you for asking about the scan. It went well because they were able to check the heart this time as the baby was cooperating but we don't know what the sex is. The sonographer said it would be hard to tell and did we want to know, so I said if there was any doubt, not to tell us! So we'll have a surprise in October Have you decided what to do about having a scan done and finding out the sex yet - even though your hubby doesn't want to know?
My little one has been kicking me more and more lately which is nice, although sometimes painful when its on the bladder! sometimes I still don't feel it though and the sonographer at the hospital said thats cos the placenta is on the anterior wall, so the umbilical is in front of the baby.
Are you still getting hungry? I am, sometimes I wake up early like 5am (even on my day off) and have to eat to go back to sleep! I guess the baby gets hungry hey?!!
Take care, and let me know your news!

TheBunny - Wednesday, 11 June
Hiya, great to hear from you and pleased for you that if you want to find out the sex of the baby then you can!! What do you think you'll do? I have my repeat scan on Monday and I'm going to try (again) to find out. I have bought a couple of baby things and really I need to know what colours to buy. Everything so far is cream or white which seems a bit bland really!
Lying on your back is supposed to be avoided but, like you say it depends on whether or not you experience problems. I haven't so far, but I think as the baby gets heavier it could cause a problem...depending on where the baby is lying at the time! Do you get some days that you don't feel any movement and then other days where the baby is doing gymnastics??!! ha ha because I have gone 2 days without really feeling anything much and it is worrying.
My eating habits over the last week have completely changed i went from eating normally to suddenly, like you, being absolutely starving! Of course, I try not to snack on rubbish food (which is hard when you are at work!) so I just eat oatcakes or drink a chocolate milkshake or something. I'd say that every half an hour, there is something being eaten by me!!!
I'll keep you updated on the scan. Hope everything is good with you. Take care...

babblefishie - Monday, 9 June
Wow I'm so envious of all the languages you are familiar with!

I've started getting a little more chatty and outgoing so I'm sure friendships are sure to follow. My old housemate Samira spoke arabic and I loved hearing it. I like its throaty sound if that makes sense.

I only speak english, conversational french and a teensy weensy bit of spanish and german (I mean teensy)

A happy day to you, your husband and your lovely baby bump!

babblefishie - Sunday, 8 June
So crazy eh? time is really flying! How are you coping with the language barrier in Sweden. I know they speak english, but are you fluent in Swedish? I've tried to learn a few sentences and it's a challenging language. :)

babblefishie - Tuesday, 3 June
Things are looking up! I have a nice OBGYN and I'm feeling a lot better which is nice. How are you doing? How is your little one?

TheBunny - Sunday, 1 June
Hiya, I had the scan and everything looks good so far but the baby was in an awkward position so they weren't able to tell the sex and weren't able to check the heart properly so I have to go back in a couple of weeks and have a repeat scan. At least I get to see the baby again. It was so cute because I could see it yawning and stretching. Then it went off to sleep! Very exciting! My parents have gone home now.... how are things with you and your baby?

TheBunny - Wednesday, 28 May
Hi, my scan is on Friday so I have a couple of days to keep thinking about it!! Its driving me mad. First, I think its kicking and then I go 2 days and nothing - but apparently it all depends on the position of the baby as to whether you feel it and if the placenta is in the way then you are less likely to feel it until later on in the pregnancy. My parents are still in England although they've gone to see some friends down by the coast so they are coming back tonight and staying until Saturday night. They are talking about buying the baby a buggy but I've said I don't want any baby presents until much nearer the time. I'm superstitious I think! I'm hoping my brother and sis-in-law will be coming over in August for a wedding in the UK and they'll come and visit or stay but we'll have to wait and see how the new baby is doing first! Take care

TheBunny - Saturday, 24 May
Hey how's things? Not long till we're 20!!! The weeks are starting to go by a bit quicker than before. I'm getting a lot of cramping pains this week which I am only hoping is the little one getting bigger. I am feeling it move a lot more now so i feel reassured and try to think positive. I have my scan on Friday so I'll see if everything is ok then.
My parents are staying with us this week and seeing how big I've got which is funny! I think you said your mum is staying with you this coming week so that will be nice for you to spend some quality girly time together.
So your feeling tired a lot? I wonder if youre having a girl then? By the way I am now officially an Aunty. My sister in law had her baby 4 days ago - 3.5 weeks early and weighing 7lbs 1oz which is a nice healthy weight. She's so cute. Called Lucy! Its a shame my brother lives in New York cos I'd be straight over to see her!
Take care, write soon :-)

babblefishie - Tuesday, 20 May
We've decided not to find out too! My friend recently had a baby and she told me that knowing there is a big suprise still in store for you, helps get you through labour. I think in this time of instant gratification, I'm going to try and wait! I dreamt it was a boy. But jeff thinks it is a girl.

surprsdmomi - Monday, 19 May
LOL!!! yeah I knew from the very beginning that I was having a girl, even though I was hoping for a boy. LOL!!

surprsdmomi - Monday, 19 May
I'm doing well!! I have lots more energy these days. Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl yet? The baby has been moving some, but I can't quite call her a boxer just yet. LOL!! Well I am glad to hear that things are going well.
