Well to open this up, My name's Athena, I'm 16 years of age, and from today I am 3 months, 3 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Yes, I know I'm young, but to those who want to judge, all I can say is "Only God can judge me".

I'm happily with my boyfriend of 10 months [as of the 16.07.2007], and we share a very special bond with each other. I guess this was such a surprise for the both of us, I was on the contraceptive, and as I came up to the period (sugar) pills, my period never came? I then took a home test and saw immediatly that I was in fact pregnant. At the time of finding out I was 5 weeks and 2 days, and I freaked. My boyfriend has very understanding parents, and they were happy as soon as they found out, but un-like my parents, it took my Aunty, Uncle, Cousin and counsellor from a school to sit them down and tell them, and I am very thankful my family did that for me.

But the journey begins now...Itchy boobs, Sensitive Nipples, Sore Back, Hunger and breathlessness, it's all happening to me!

I'm 16 weeks and 1 day today! Yesterday I came home from school, and vomited heavily and my gag reflexes start to bleed. I went to the doctor and they said I had a migraine, so they gave me a shot and I broke out in little red dots over my face.HORRIBLE.
Besides that I havn't felt baby move recently, I sort of feel EMPTY aswel, the doctor said I can only get ultrasounds when I get a midwife, which means I'll just have to wait until August 7th for an ultra sound, but even better-THE BABIES GENDER!

Being pregnant is such a wonderful thing, and even though I may be young, I'm learning to appreciate to wonders of pregnancy. The midnight flutters, the cravings, the sore backs and the "mummy motive". Well not really much to say, I'm tired [AS USUAL-hehe] and that's a wrap!

My gorgeous lil bubbah growing in my tummy is now 17 weeks and 3 days old! And boy oh boy is bubbah kicking and moving like mad, i've been getting un-controlable sore tummies since yesterday, and ended up being in severe pain later in the afternoon after my b/f accidentally knocked my in the tummy [it was SO painful], but today I went to the doctors and they told me I have a stomach flu, it doesn't affect the baby, but it will affect me with nausea, vomiting and diahrea [if that's how you spell it]. Booked my ultrsound scans for next Wednesday 8th, I will be getting both a normal ultrasound and 3d ultrasound...SO EXCITED! I think baby is a bit excited too, I mean all that moving around and kicking really does show I've got a energetic lil one on the way, and I definatly can't wait to meet him/her! But besides all the movement I'm purely stuck on water to clear the stomach flu, but that's all good for me, whatever makes my little one safe I'm willing to do it!

I rang a midwife yesterday to see who's available, apparently there are many midwives unavailable, and the fact that I'm 16, some midwives just won't want to deal with us "no-good teens" aswell, which sort of upsets me. But I found a great midwife who's interested, and thebonus is she can understand english [lmfao]. So I can't wait to meet her!

It's a BOY! Wow, I thought today would never come as fast as it did, and guess what? I found out I'm having a little boy! And my due date has changed too I'm due 9th January! I've got the video of my little one moving and pictures, whichc I will upload as soon as I get them! [my boyfriend has them].

YAY...we havn't decided on the middle name for our son, but LaSilas Angelou-Gray is his name so far! & it such a perfect little name for him.
