Hi all you moms-to-be! I'm 25 weeks pregnant - have 3 boys (ages 16, 14 & almost 12) and am finally going to have my girl!!! Our daughter is due to be born May 18th and I can't wait to meet her!!! It's been 12 years since I've been pregnant and things are so different this time around that it feels just like the first time!

Hi all. I just got back from a very tramatic 2 day hospital visit. I was at work - started having contractions about every 5 minutes... My boss drove me to an emergency room near my work. By then my contractions were every 2 minutes! They did an internal exam and told me I `m a `fingertip ` dilated and that I needed to be transported to another hospital because this one didn `t have L&D. I was transported by ambulance (lights, sirens and all!!). Ugggh!!! Now I `m on medication to stop contractions and will continue to take this medication until the end of the pregnancy.

Saturday, 16 Feb

Just got back from my 26 week doctor appointment. My doc said he `s taking me off the Breathene (Spelling) at 34 weeks (only 7 weeks away!!!) and then the waiting game will begin. I `m hoping that she `ll wait until her due date or closer atleast.

Wednesday, 5 Mar

Found out that I have Gestational Diabetes Monday night - Ugh!!! Just waiting for Dietician to call me to set up an appointment to learn how to take care of this...

A sweep will probably make your cervix softer and more receptive to induction drugs. The sweep alone may bring on labor. I had one last week hoping for labor but nothing. I'll have another on Wed. Good Luck with everything. I'll be over soon!

THEY NEVER TOLD ME..BT MY DOCTOR MADE A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT BC MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS 141/75..SO HE JUST WANT ME TO DO THE 24HOUR..BT THEY DID THE BLOOD TEST FOR PROTEIN AND THERE WAS NONE....I JUST DRUNK ALOT OF WATER AND CRANBERRY JUICE

that's scary. why do they try to scare us????? this nurse today was like, if your blood pressure is this high when you go into L&D, they're going to try and do a c-section on you, and all this stuff. how the hell does her saying that to me help???? it only freaked me out more. ugh.

I'm just so annoyed w/ the whole thing that I want to cry. If my blood pressures are high, tomorrow afternoon. If they're fine, then on Friday. However, this little blood pressure machine that we bought is pretty crappy even though it was expensive. So it'll either read me as being super high or super low and I just can't rely on it. And as crazy as it sounds, I'd still get nervous even going to CVS to take it, because there are tons of people around. And my BP at the doctor is obviously not reliable because I always get nervous there too. I really don't know what to do.

And i swear, I can "sleep" all night and still be exhausted the next day and nap for like three or four hours straight.

Good luck w/ your urine. I'm sure you'll be fine--and if not, what can you do? Why are you on no salt? That sucks. Can you still have oreos???? lol...

wow. i hope everything works out. that would suck to get this far and then have to have a c-section. but if it's better for you and baby it will all be worth it. I pray everything works out and you can go into labor on your own or be induced and you and baby are doing great. Let me know how it goes.

I test postive for having protein in my urine and had to do the stupid collection for 24 hours. what a pain. Then I bring it into the hospital. I am sitting there with this big jug in the waiting area and the lady hollars out the window thing...did you bring your urine. like she couldn't see the big jug with me. My friend told me I should have decorated it. but mine came back fine. the doc said the test strip things they use are not as accurate as the test they do in the lab but that it was fine and no worries. have you had high blood pressure because I think that's another sign of it. Not just protein in your urine. good luck!!

congrats on finally expecting a girl!!!! thats awesome. & being nosy that i am reading everything in the weeks comments, there's no point in wasting your breath on little teens living with mommy & daddy still that shouldn't even be pregnant.... get pregnant while you're already pregnant?!?!?!?!? that is just plain dumb. lol... best wishes to you on a smooth delivery =]

If I knew the secrete to sleep, I would use it myself, lol! Guessing tylenol pm isn't doing the trick? It worked for me til prob 36/37 wks, now nothing helps...I am overdue and sleep deprived, the doc better look out at my appt in 2 hrs... Good Luck to you though, my doc also said unisom is ok to take, but can be habit forming so no more than 3 times a week~ I can't find it over here, maybe you will have better luck!

ye i go for a induction next thursday if he hasnt arrived by then i hope he does iv been getting signs of labour for the past 2 days now i keep gettin backake and contractions so hopefully he will arrive soon im guna av a natural birth without pain relife if i can cope

Yes, exactly. You have no idea until you go through it. I used to look at pregnant women and think they looked uncomfortable, or hear about the morning sickness, backache, whatever. But you really have no idea what a strain it is on you until you go through it. Lately, things hurt I cannot even identify. He's is moving down and pressing on who knows what. But I am so excited to meet him! I love being pregnant, too, I feel so blessed. But I miss my brain! An my body:) It comes back, right? :)

yikes doc said she thinx mine is already bout 7 or 8 lbs as well..she said 10 lbs no prob ,kinda scaring me though lol..
think i may try sum natural inductions not sure..
who knows ..jus got let what happens happen i
suppose.still cant slleeep ..its 1 50 a.m this is awful~

oh.isee .my pregnancy has been a rollarcoaster.lol
not planned with a man whos hmm an asshole..
other then that morning sickness was awful~
my youngest is 8 so i can relate to the time gap..
keep having contractions and am getting anxious,i am or was a couple weeks ago 40%
effaced..and now i am just waiting,i am still very nervous about the birth even though ive had four natural deliverys..ha.
i cant sllep ,have heavy hips..and cant stop complaining:)but i do know overall im healthy though and i am afraid of havin a big bay..how big do they think yours is?

im not a nut.ur disagreeing with everything i am saying,i know these ppl,how did it happen then if u cant get prego wile already pregnant?
im not talking like right at the same time but after at the few end months,how did she do it?the child is not adopted,she gave birth to all three

well i dont.
because i know these ppl.i was best frends with the three kids and my stepmom is frends with there mother.she had a daughter then a year or so later she got pregnant with her other daughter and wen she had that daughter the son was born only a few months later.they are only a few months apart in birthdays and they are the same age at one time for a few months as well. so how does this happen then???
