Hi all you moms-to-be! I'm 25 weeks pregnant - have 3 boys (ages 16, 14 & almost 12) and am finally going to have my girl!!! Our daughter is due to be born May 18th and I can't wait to meet her!!! It's been 12 years since I've been pregnant and things are so different this time around that it feels just like the first time!

Hi all. I just got back from a very tramatic 2 day hospital visit. I was at work - started having contractions about every 5 minutes... My boss drove me to an emergency room near my work. By then my contractions were every 2 minutes! They did an internal exam and told me I `m a `fingertip ` dilated and that I needed to be transported to another hospital because this one didn `t have L&D. I was transported by ambulance (lights, sirens and all!!). Ugggh!!! Now I `m on medication to stop contractions and will continue to take this medication until the end of the pregnancy.

Saturday, 16 Feb

Just got back from my 26 week doctor appointment. My doc said he `s taking me off the Breathene (Spelling) at 34 weeks (only 7 weeks away!!!) and then the waiting game will begin. I `m hoping that she `ll wait until her due date or closer atleast.

Wednesday, 5 Mar

Found out that I have Gestational Diabetes Monday night - Ugh!!! Just waiting for Dietician to call me to set up an appointment to learn how to take care of this...

haha! so you really are serious??!! i love you, woman! your husband is okay with another one right away? thats freakin awesome. me and my husband want to start trying again, too. wait...unless i took your comment the wrong way and you want to avoid it for a while. well whatever. i was told exclusive bf is 90% effective against getting preggers. were you the one that said you had sex already? if so, did it hurt? did you have stiches after delivery?

According to my OB there is no safe time unless you use other contraception. He said that when you breatfeed your period will be delayed but that doesn't mean thta you don't ovulate before... so you can get pregnant any time.

the sleep was pretty good! a whole 5 hours! woo! michael goes back to work tomorrow :( wish me luck, my god, he's been doing everything, so i don't know how it's going to go.

my doctor still won't let me put anything up there yet since i'm only 2 weeks out. they jsut keep giving me diflucan. it's miserable!!

my doctor thought it might have been a bacterial infection since i was having discharge--basically she wanted to try every route to fix whatever i've got going on down there.

i can't believe you had sex already!! oh my god--with my yeast, there's noooo way. I wish I could--I'm jealous, haha.

I went to the hospital and everything is okay, they said that the swelling is because she is a big baby lol and is laying on some nerve that is cutting the blood flow to my feet, but it isn't anything to worry about at this point because I am in early labor and she should be out soon. Thanks for all of your advice

yeah i have done that before! i love to see her with her eyes open! i know i feel bad also i mean this is my last baby and i just want to spend every min with her! and i can't believe that she is getting so big already! we have a doctors appointment today so we will see how big she really has gotten!! i am glad that everything is going great with you keep in touch!!

My nipples aren't as sore as they were, but Omg, the other day she chomped down on me so hard, I had to pull her off and use the other breast. It hurt way too much, I had to skip using my right breast to feed her a few times before I could use it again.

I have to admit, I do like it when she knows that the person who is holding her is NOT THE MAMA! Do you find it cute when she is hungry and if your holding her, she turns her head toward your breast and tries to eat your shirt?

That's about right, mine is sleep laying right next to me right now. The bassinet is empty next to my bed on the other side. I shouldn't even tell noboby that..lol She is extra comfortable right now too. Sleeping like an angel.

Thanks for the advice- I mean I called the hospital and they told me there wasn't anyone who could answer my question, I'm like are you kidding me? Another thing that scares me is it said it is more likely to happen to those who have had it in their family, and my mom had it with me. I just don't want to get down there and them treat me like I am an idiot, but your right, my baby is worth it and it is their job.

Thats my problem, I dont have a number for an ob from my office on call, they said that when I went into labor the hospital would get ahold of them and that i didn't need a number to call them.
