Hi all you moms-to-be! I'm 25 weeks pregnant - have 3 boys (ages 16, 14 & almost 12) and am finally going to have my girl!!! Our daughter is due to be born May 18th and I can't wait to meet her!!! It's been 12 years since I've been pregnant and things are so different this time around that it feels just like the first time!

Hi all. I just got back from a very tramatic 2 day hospital visit. I was at work - started having contractions about every 5 minutes... My boss drove me to an emergency room near my work. By then my contractions were every 2 minutes! They did an internal exam and told me I `m a `fingertip ` dilated and that I needed to be transported to another hospital because this one didn `t have L&D. I was transported by ambulance (lights, sirens and all!!). Ugggh!!! Now I `m on medication to stop contractions and will continue to take this medication until the end of the pregnancy.

Saturday, 16 Feb

Just got back from my 26 week doctor appointment. My doc said he `s taking me off the Breathene (Spelling) at 34 weeks (only 7 weeks away!!!) and then the waiting game will begin. I `m hoping that she `ll wait until her due date or closer atleast.

Wednesday, 5 Mar

Found out that I have Gestational Diabetes Monday night - Ugh!!! Just waiting for Dietician to call me to set up an appointment to learn how to take care of this...

Sorry it took me so long to write back! she's on formula--but the reason she sometimes cries at night is b/c she sleeps all day, so she wakes up right around midnight and can't sleep. Thank god she's not colachy. I can't imagine having to deal w/ that. How are things going for you? I am miserable, let me tell you. I had her last Tuesday, so over a week ago, almost two weeks, but now all of the sudden I am having the most horrible yeast infection of my life. Everything is swollen up down there and itching and burning. Im going out of my mind b/c it's so bad. but i had an episiotomy and you're not supposed to be putting anything up there for six weeks, so what do i do? I called my doctor's office--they thought it was an infection so gave me antibiotics and now i'm up at 2:30 am b/c I couldn't feel worse. Sorry for writing so much, but I feel HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am doing well - I am actually thinking of waiting with the induction until monday instead...I am really against it medical induction. I am going to see a midwife that specialises in obstetric acupunture tomorrow at 10am. I am hoping that will do something to push things along - I'll decide after talking to her.

As of right now, I will have to take meds forever. High blood pressure runs in my family pretty badly, on my mothers side. I am awake now, just fed baby girl. Now I have the sore nipple syndrome....lol. How is Alyssa doing?

Hey Aubrey- I miss you too girl, I had pancakes today and I thought of you. I miss our insomniac chats too, I'm sl glad to be home. My bp finally stabilized, and I'm on meds, but most importantly we are both ok.

i miss being pregnant, too. now that he's here and im so in love with him, i want him back in me so i can be with him 24-7, ya know? i've been having a lot of depression and feel like he's growing up so fast, too. also, i feel like i just had 9 months of prep time and now that its here, im like 'ok, now what?" this is such a hard time for me. how have you been doing? have you made the transition ok now? i really miss all the preggo friends from this site, it was actually a bigger part of my life than i realized.

aww, thats so sweet! I'll be the same way if I go before pink. Poor danish-girl.. she's getting near week 42. I just read that she said she's gonna get induced on friday if she doesn't go before. My doc mentioned inducing me friday also, but I dunno why. I won't even get to see her this week, so unless something is wrong with the u/s tomorrow, I'll probably just wait till I go on my own. I can't wait until we've all had our babies and are sharing our new experiences. How is it in talkingbabies?

My internet has been down - damn internet!

I went for my 41+3 at the hospital today and they are inducing me slowly on friday when I am officially 42 full weeks. She could barely strip my membranes as she almost couldn't get a finger in there...I guess that must mean I am only around 1cm dialated then..not sure?!

How's everything with your new gorgeous baby?

I wish it was over - I'm a bit scared of the pain I'm about to endure :-)

lol i dont think im ready quite yet for another, but there will be more! i'll let you know when im ready so we can be pregnant together again! besides i think my hubby might get a lil upset if i get pregnant with him away ~_^

he jokingly asked me when i was getting my tubes tied, and i told him i would have my tubes tied just as soon as he got a vasectomy (which is something i already know he will NEVER do) and he was like "OH dear god we are never gunna stop having babies" and i laughed and said yeah isnt it great...lol

so how are things? Alexis and i are doing great! and Drew is just loving the big brother thing!

omg i'm so glad i'm done being pregnant!! and i'm delirious. my pain meds are keeping me from sleeping--so i haven't slept since 6am yesterday. i feel like a zombie! well, the pain meds in combination w/ nicole. she sleeps during the day and is up all night :( my husband and i are soooooo tired. i can't believe you're ready for another one!!

Hey! I had my baby on the 20th and she was 7lbs, 7 oz! I can't believe how tiny and perfect she is and I can't believe I'm not pregnant any more. Giving birth was the craziest experience of my life!!

lol i know right...drew had a lot of hair, but hers is so full and dark...it was funny when the nurses would bring her back in the room after tests or whatever they would like check the arm bands 3 times before they left her with me...i was like i assure you she is my daughter...with the hubby not there they didnt make the connection, i dont know how many times i had to explain that my hubby is hispanic while i was there. LOL

Omg Aubrey- She loves to eat my nipples are sore already! I had to nurse her 5 minutes after she was born. She may be small, but she is strong, healthy , and greedy!
