03/25 - So I've only gotten around to writing something now! My husband and I planned this pregnancy for quite some time and were so excited on December 13th when there was a very faint positive line. We wanted to keep it quiet until the first trimester ended but that didn't quite work out! I was soooo sick. All the time. When we were home for Christmas we first told my husband's parents and then my mom. They were both so excited and vowed to keep it quiet.
My first apt. was on 01/06. I was suffering from a sinus infection as well, so my dr. prescribed some anti-nausea as well as a nasal spray. Because there are some steroids in the nasal spray I decided to stay away from it.
Week 11 we decided to spill the beans to rest of our family members. Everyone was so excited. My 7 year old niece told me she had the best day ever, "First school was cancelled, then I got to go to a really fun birthday party, and now I'm getting a cousin!".
Week 13 I know that I felt the baby move. I know it's my first pregnancy but I knew it was the baby.
By 02/27 my sinuses were so bad, the dr. put me on amoxocillin and upped my anti-nausea. I'd been spending alot of time in the bathroom wondering when the sickness would ever end. 02/29 - I went for maternal serum tests.
03/05 - I finally let the cat out of the bag and told work. I don't know what I was worried about, but I just didn't want to tell them.
03/09 - we went on a week ski vacation in Maine. The mountain air helped get the sinuses moving, only to result in a nasty, gunk filled cough. The baby loved being on the chair lift and was moving around a whole bunch.
My sinuses came back as soon as I got back home. wow resorted to the witch doctor rememdies of oreagano in a humidifier and a neti teapot. Morning sickness isn't as bad, but I still need to take the ocassional anti-nausea.
I did some yoga, and wow was I in pain that evening. My uterus hurt like anything. The next morning, I swear my belly doubled in size. Everyone already thinks we're having twins based on the size of my belly.
Our first U/S is scheduled for 03/26, I just want to know that this little parasite is healthy! It is definetly active.
Madame Zaritska's reading
What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive at night.
After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 21-1/2 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and some blond hair.
