Hey Everyone! My husband and I are expecting our first child in August...We have been together since 1999 and married since March 2006. We are both thrilled and can't wait for our little boy, Maddox Michael, to finally be home with us. My husband comes from a HUGE family of almost all girls (he has 5 older sisters)...and feels like he has won the lottery with this boy!!

I work full time in a parts and technical service support position for an international corporation and my husband has 10+ years in the Army (19 Kilo).

I hope everyones pregnancies are going well, and the time keeps zooming by. Its not too long before we will have our little ones at home with us once and for all.

I hear you! Me and my husband started trying (sort of) and within a week, bam! Pregnant. It was amazing and a little scary at first.

If you haven't already, you should call your doctor. Your may not be clotting the way its suppose to. It wouldn't concern me as much now. It would concern me more when you go into labor.

So clearly you have written about your strange food cravings, and tomatos are not mine!!! thank God! I had a salad the other night and ate a few cherry toms, but I hated every bit of it!!! like normal, I suppose! ... I do, however, only want fried chicken still, so that kinda stinks.

Your blood clots more when your pregnant. I had blood clots as a teenager. I worked in fastfood and stood up for long spands of time. I would get clots in my legs. My doc knows this and wanted to put me on blood thinners when I became pregnant. I refused but, he ask me to go to a blood doctor. I did, and learned alot about how your body changes when your pregnant to protect yourself from bleeding to death during labor.

Wow, you will be back in your pre-preggo clothes right from the hospital! You must have been really sick to lose 23 lbs!!! Poor thing! Was that all the flu, or do you think you had morning sickness too? (which was all day in my case!) So, you only wieght 5 lbs more than when you started this preg. in November? I'm not jealous of you being sick, but i am slightly because i know how this works. I have always left the hospital exactly 20 lbs lighter than when i came in...so, consider your flu a blessing in the jeans dept!!! lol!!!

No, i'm the 3rd in the house to get it! I never get these things from the kids. But, i've been doing so much around the house the last few weeks i think i just ran myself down, and there ya go! I'm sure i needed 2 days in bed, so, now i can get back to work!!! The problem is, i have so much damn energy, and forget i'm pregnant sometimes, and that i should just take little breaks hear and there... so far, this boys been much better to me that the 3 girls were. I had my apt. on Monday morning. I've gained 20 so far. 1 pound over where she wanted me, but i'm sure i lost that over the last two days! lol!! Now i go every 2 weeks! I can't believe how fast that got here!!! This one's flying by!!! AHHHHHHH i can't wait
!!!!!!

Glad to hear your feeling better! Thank God! I've been thinking about you for the last few days, as i've been stuck in bed with the flu! Yuck! Much better today though. My hips are killing me from being in bed so long though, i think i will have to do some stretching later on and get things moving again. My body is not used to being still for so long with 3 other kids running around! I can't imagine being put on bed rest!!! I would go out of my mind!! There is absolutly NOTHING good on tv during the day!

That tomato andcheese omlette sounds like something I'll have to try! Last night my husband brought home a caprese salad (romaine lettuce, tomato wedges, mozzerella cheese with salt and pepper and a balsalmic vinegrette) and I ate all the tomatoes and he ate all the lettuce. This works out really well for us because HE doesnt really like tomatoes very much! More for me :)

joannemichelle - Tuesday, 13 May
I have been craving tomatoes since about week 6. My husband brought home ''strawberry tomatoes" which are a little bigger than cerry tomatoes and I ate them like candy! I LOVE tomatoes more than ever!

toshtealer - Monday, 12 May
Your alright, I felt the same way!!

fabeebabee - Monday, 12 May
Well, I was trying to bite my tongue, but the grammar on here kills me sometimes! Glad to know I'm not the only one.

bekaray - Monday, 12 May
So, I looked at pictures of what it looks like this week... it's getting more and more real.

mylittlesurprise - Friday, 9 May
Cant say i blame you. Are you feeling any better now? I'm going to be worried about you all weekend now!!! lol!!!

mylittlesurprise - Friday, 9 May
THAT is why i use midwifes!!!! Dr.'s suck in my opinion!!! Dr.'s treat symptoms, Midwifes treat patients! You can't beat them. I still deliver in the hopital, with the Dr.'s standing by incase of emergency, but my midwifes do everything. Including stay with me for the whole delivery. Which is LONG in my case! My first took 3 days, second a day & a half, and my third, 2 weeks over due, was an easy 14 hours or so!!! lol!!! so i worship my midwife! She keeps me sane, and well informed and never treats me like a "worried mom" I never feel stupid calling her. And anytime i'm worried, i can "drop in" for a heartbeat check, and the occasional peak thru ultrasound! I can't say enough about them. It's a little late in the game to switch over for you now, but try to find one if you have more kids. You wouldn't believe the difference in attention you'll get. I hope you feel better, but in the mean time, take it easy!!! Eat some icecream...lol...i find it helps with EVERYTHING!!!!

mylittlesurprise - Friday, 9 May
Hi! I just read your post on 26 weeks..did you call your Dr? it could just be ligament pain, but i am concerned if it so bad your having trouble in bed, and it should have stopped my now. I'm on my 4th kid, and i can only remember what your describing at the very end, never this early...it might be worth a phone call hun!

southernlawgrl - Friday, 9 May
I know exactly how you feel about the ball. My husband recently returned from Iraq and asked me to come to the ball for their return. I was able to find a dress on the discontinued rack at the local bridal store and the lady there helped me find ne a little bigger to give me some room to move. Go and enjoy yourself… then you have a story to tell your little one when it gets older :)

Mizzy - Friday, 9 May

Dee08 - Wednesday, 7 May
Thank you for your response. What i feel is like a bubbly sensation. I will be 15 weeks on Friday i'm not sure if i should be feeling this now? Once again thank you!

KMF - Wednesday, 7 May
I have never thought about going to the pot and getting in a 5 minute nap!!!!! That's hilarious...but actually a good idea. LOL! Anyway, you are not alone. I'm glad you mentioned it. I have been exhausted lately. I can't get to work on time. I take a 2 hour nap every day after work and sleep so heavy I dream. I just want to sleep all the time....but then I have to pee. A few weeks ago I was so full of energy. I wish I could be like that again.

Dani1979 - Tuesday, 6 May
You forgot to add the awkward gas that you get as well...its so embarrassing...lol...

bekaray - Tuesday, 6 May
Oh thanks!!! I actually got a ruler out earlier to see the millimeter size that they talk about!!!
