Hello All!! My husband and I are so exited to be expecting our first child. We have only been married about six months. We actually got married on 07/07/07 and surprisingly enough I am due on 08/08/08. What a coincidence!! The odds of that happening are slim to none, but it would be very cool! The pregnancy has been so much easier than I ever expected. I have had sleepiness, but luckily NO sickness at all! I am so happy about that. I have gone already for an u/s where I got to see the heartbeat, but I was only 6 weeks so I couldn't hear it. Today, however, at my Dr's appt. I was able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler. It was the most amazing sound ever!! I'm just upset my husband wasn't there to share the moment with me. Everything has been wonderful and I am looking so forward to the journey we all have ahead of us!!

U/S Picture at 11 weeks 4 days (1/21/08)

Ok ladies!! Had an ultrasound today (2/18/08). So excited to find out that we are HAVING A BOY!!!! I was hoping for a boy all along and so excited that I am having one!! His name will be Dallas! They said he is growing very nicely and right in line with where he should be. He is weighing about 6 oz. right now. Poor baby was sleeping and the tech had push on my belly to get him moving. You can see from the picture above, there is no doubt that It's a Boy!!!

Went to have an u/s today (4/21). Baby is weighing in at 1 lb. 12 oz. He is a big boy. They surprised me and gave me some 3-d photos. I LOVE them!! Of course I am biased, but he has got to be the cutest baby I have ever seen!!! LOL

Today I had an ultrasound of my little peanut! What a difference between 5weeks 6 days and 11 weeks 4 days. It acutally looks like a real baby now!! It's nice to see. The baby was moving and turning and kicking its legs around. So sweet!! The heartbeat was nice and strong beating at 158 bpm. I can't wait to find out the sex!

I deffinitely have you beat..like snugglebug says i've been asked my whole pregnancy if I was having twins and my uncle calls me horse but like you i've only gained in the belly area it will make it easier for us to look as hot as we did before getting preggo :-)

Don't worry, I think I still have you beat. I look like a small planet. Even hubby says I look like I'm having twins. Then again, it's not like he knows any pregnant women to compare me to, lol. And, he doesn't mean anything bad by it, we know we're having a BIG boy and my belly is all baby, for sure. But, you know what you look like? A MOMMY!!! YAAAAAAY! :D

I'm technically not in week 36 until tomorrow, but I've been experiencing the same thing with the lack of appetite. Since Saturday I've only ate one meal a day....I don't know if it's normal, but, I don't feel weak or anything.

I have no appetite either, I've been like that for a while now. I've only gained 3 lb my whole 3rd trimester. As long as baby is getting bigger, shouldn't be any problem. I found out at 36 wks that my little guy is 6 lb 14 oz already. I think he must be stealing all my food ! LOL!

Everything is good had a bad migraine last Thursday night, Friday morning which sucked I wore my sunglasses at work until lunch time it finally went away. Next check up is August 5 doing the Down's syndrome screening and hopefully hear the heartbeat! How are you feeling? Ready to go huh? I finished Belly Laughs thank you now Tommy wants to read it! :) Love ya!

Hey, I did ask her and she said the only thing it could really be from is stretching, which is what I had pulled up online to begin with. So maybe thats what it is. I have only gained 28 lbs so far so its not like its some crazy amount. I dunno its weird.

Hey, i havent been able to find anything yet, the only thing I came across was a woman who was pregnant with multiples, and she started getting a burning feeling and it ended up being 2nd degree burns from the stretching, not that we are having multiples lol but maybe it is the stretching? I have no idea this whole pregnancy has been very interesting for me, I get pains in places I didnt even know existed. I go to the Dr Fri, so I guess I will just ask. I noticed your in Ft lauderdale, im in Deerfield

ok i have seen that you get ultra sound every few weeks... when was your last one and how much did baby weight? i had mine on monday june 30 and my lil baby girl is 6 lbs and 11ozs! thats huge, sha has gained 3 lbs in one month. i get u/s every 4 weeks it seems let me know cuz dr. is inducin me but due to diabetes, i see him next wendesday . hopefully he dont get to mad that she had a growth sprout!

I washed the clothes that were hand me downs and tied them up good in bags... I did this awhile ago because the fabric softener my sister used drove me NUTS. I couldn't sort through the clothes without washing them. But I agree, if most are new- perhaps you only want to wash a few onesie type outfits...
He wont need much in terms of clothes in Ft Lauderdale right away anyhow LOL (well maybe with the ACs on... so a few snow suits ;-)
