My profile

Hi Everyone, thanks for taking a look at my profile!

7th May 2009
So a little update for everyone. Back in March I miscarried at 11 weeks, apparently the baby died a few weeks earlier, but took a while for my body to realise! Both my husband and I were devistated. We were so set on having an October baby, and I was looking forward to having my parents come and visit from Australia.
I was getting so impatient because It had been almost 8 weeks since I miscarried and I still had not got my AF. Then one weekend when my husband went away for the 2 days and I was left to look after my son, I was so exhausted, had a massive headache the whole time, and was so thirsty. So the second day I took a pregnancy test, just to see, and it came back positive very quickly! I was very shocked, and mostly confused... We only BD once, and the other times we used the old faithful (haha) withdrawal method! So I then booked a doctors appointment where he told me my HCG levels were over 4000 and that I was indeed pregnant! WOW! I was in disbelief! My doctor guessed the due date to be the 21st of December, and that I was 7 weeks pregnant! hmmm.... Quite a lot to take in, here I was getting worried that AF was taking so long to show and I was pregnant the whole time!!
So now I am 7 weeks 3 days pregnant. I am feeling pretty good, a little nauseous at times, very tired, very thirsty and peeing like crazy.... :)
I have met the most amazing ladies on this site, and it has made my unfortunate journey easier to cope with! But I feel so blessed to now be pregnant again, I am praying that this baby is growing healthy and will stick!
