My husband and I have been ttc a brother or sister for my 5yo DD since September 2008. I became pregnant in December 2008 but found out at my 12 week scan that it was a blighted ovum and had a D&C. My cycle started 34 days later and my cycle length then went from 31 days to 28 days but still ovulating on CD17. I found out that I was pregnant again in June but miscarried again at 8 weeks but the baby only measured 6 weeks and passed the baby at home. I have been seeing if my levels are back to 0 and the pregnancy tests were comming back negative. Then a week after they were negative, I decided to test again as af still hadn't shown up since the miscarriage and got a faint bfp. The next day the BFP was nice and strong, I didn't need to squint to see it lol! So I test again the following day, the line is VERY faint. Test again the day after, NO line. 5 days after seeing my BFP I start to bleed again and assume that I have had my 3rd miscarriage for 2009
So, here I go again! Hoping and Praying that I have a sticky bean in my belly!
29-10-2009 I have had an ultrasound today and baby looks happy and healthy, measuring a little bigger than I thought at 8 weeks and a nice strong heart beat of 147bpm - I hope that everything continues to go well and the baby is due on th 10th June 2010 :)

Another strange symptom-The last couple days I have felt my heartbeat really fast, usually while I am laying in bed or sitting on the sofa. It is really fast, makes me short of breath, kinda dizzy and just overall a weird feeling. It last about 5 seconds and may repeat 10 seconds later or an hour later. It is very inconsistent. I know the heart works harder during pregnancy b/c of the increase blood flow, but has anyone else experienced this? It is really a strange feeling!

hey everyone!!! i hope that everyone is having a great day. the rain left and the sun is out..everything is going good here..9 more days and i will get to see the baby so glad..i was messing around with the doppler today and i heard the baby heart beat finally..but the baby kept running away to..well have a good day ladies!

Just had appoinment with the midwife and both boys are head down. Twin one has already droped to so he will now stay head down. This now means I can refer to them by name when I feel them move instead of calling then twin one and twin two. Everything else is great. Although I did fail my GTT and now have GD. I just really hope that I can diet control it like I did with DD.

I just got back form my apt. I didn't see the doctor I see the Nurse Practitioner again...one day it would be nice to meet my doctor!!! Good news is she checked my cervix and it is closed and thick, so I am very thankful for that. But still very disappointed with the situation b/c she then told me she didn't feel it necessary to do an ultrasound since my cervix is closed. I honestly do not know if she is simply uneducated about incompetence cervix and how it actually starts from the inside of the cervix rather than the outside, or if she was just busy and didn't want to take the time or if she is just plain careless?! I don't know but it is disturbing! On one hand I feel good knowing I am not dilated at all and my cervix is nice and closed but on the other hand it doesn't give me much reassurance everything is okay inside. I go back in 2 weeks at my regular apt and if I am having any issues I will address them then if not sooner. Thanks for everyone's concern, for now....all seems well!
