My name is Meredith and I have been happily married to my husband for 4 1/2 years. We have a beautiful 2 year old daughter, Ava, and are now expecting another baby June 13th. This one is going to be a surprise!!!! I was a pediatric nurse, but I now am fortunate enough to stay home with my little girl and love every minute of it. I had two miscarriages before having my healthy little girl, and have to take a baby aspirin everyday due to me having a genetic disorder called MTHFR, which is Methyltetrahydrofolate reductase. I have to take extra folic acid also because of MTHFR and have to see a high risk doc also.

Went to my high risk doc today and was actually released from his care, yay!!!!!! He said all looks great and he doesn't need to see me anymore, woooohooooo. The baby weighs 4# 9oz already, which is way bigger than my little girl was.

April 21, 2008 32 weeks 3 days

Appt today went great, the baby scored the highest points that you can score for the BPP. I am still spilling sugar into my urine but my blood glucose level was 102, so the doc says that is okay, probably just something i ate the night before. Will have another growth scan next Thursday.

May 1, 2008 33 weeks 6 days

Had a BPP today, the baby passed after having to be there for three hours, yuck. He/she weighs 5# 6ozs today and is doing great. I lost 2 lbs. yay!!!!!! Have to go back next week for another BPP and GBS test.

May 8, 2008 34 weeks 6 days

Had BPP today, the baby looks great. I am dilated 1 1/2 cm already, scary, don't want to have this baby early. GBS swab done today, will get results next week. Getting very excited!!!!
