My profile
I live in Brisbane, Australia with my husband, 4yo daughter, 2yo son and one brown dog.
I work four days a week as a Business Strategist, which I find exhausting but very rewarding. Work for me is a double edged sword; I need to work to help support our household and I do love my job, but my ideal would be to work only two or three days and spend more time with my babies. Fortunately though, we have found a lovely little day care centre local to us; the caregivers are so kind and gentle and the children love being there.
I am expecting non-identical twin boys in June (EDD). We had almost decided not to find out gender in this pregnancy, but we were struggling so much to come up with names so decided that finding out would halve the battle!
Surprisingly, I found the 1st and 2nd trimesters of this pregnancy much easier than with my singles; I suffered comparatively little morning sickness, whereas I vomited my way all the way through both other pregnancies! Now though, at nearly 30 weeks, I am really starting to feel uncomfortable and am worried about how I'll cope with the next 7 to 8 weeks!
Now on maternity leave, my biggest concern at the moment is rearranging our little house so that we have enough space to fit everybody in when they come. With only two bedrooms, the children will all be sharing, which I'm sure will be noisy but we'll cope!
