I bought a cover for the baby carrier at Walmart to cover Nathan from the sun and to keep bugs out. It's part mesh and part some kind of material. It's great so you don't have to worry about putting sun block on them and they stay cool.

YES on the sunscreen. I used it on my first two around 4 or 5 months and on my last baby from 2 weeks. I gave him second degree burns on his little tiny face I had the rest of his body covered at the beach but his little face stuck out. I cried every time I saw those little blisters. I put a little spot of it on him that night to make sure he didnt break out or anything then usesd it from then on with no problems ( I didnt' take him outside untill he was healed other than from the house to car... I felt so horrible) I've been putting it on Sam too with no problems. I suggest testing a little spot on there arm or leg first to make sure there isn't an allergic reaction to it.

oh u had a c-section? so labour AND a section? ouch!
Induction for me was awful - took 3 days! but i enjoyed giving birth to an extent - was an empowering experience. the damage was a bit much tho so thinking of opting for a section nxt time, not sure...
So how's ur little girl gettin on? I've just started to notice charlie going for 6hrs or so between feeds so thats convenient! are u breast/bottle feeding? how does she sleep @ night? x
