Hey there! Well my name is Shanti, and I just had my baby girl! Little Miss Jolie Love Borders is born on November 1st 2008, and it was the best experience of my life! There is no way to tell you how much she has already done for me. I absolutely love being a mom. Her dad and I met in a bar early last summer, and I think it might have been one of the luckiest days of my life, we love to party together, hike, go boating, be adventurous, and sing to each other all the time! We plan to get married in June of 2009. I am going back to school in January to get my bachelors degree in education from University of Kentucky. Ricky was in the Marines for 7 years and was recently medically retired, now he is going to school to get his bachelors in criminal justice. He is a Cage Fighter in his spare time, and is quiet the local celebrity! lol He does the amateur version of the UFC, we have a lot of fun traveling around the state and going to fights with his team. :) I'm so lucky and so excited! Hey ladies- thanks for the concern! I just got back from the hospital. His heartrate was going up and down so they monitered him for awhile and then did an ultrasound for 30m to observe his movements. He passed! He is also measuring in at 31 weeks 4 days and 3.6 pounds :) My cervix is soft but it isn't dilating so I was just getting some hard braxtons hicks. I'll be taking it easy this week. glad all was okay with him

Hey ladies.. my midwife finally called me back and she wants me to go to the hospital for a stress test. I don't know what that is but I'm trying not to freak out :( please pray for Joel and I.

Hey ladies baby Carson was born on 11-13 at 8:02pm. He weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces!! We just got home from the hospital today. I will add pictures tomorrow when I have had some sleep..

Hey just got home from the hospital. Got induced Thursday and had Carson on 11-13-08 at 8:02.. It is exhausting and I am so scared to leave his side. He is a healthy baby! weighted 7 pounds and 7 ounces. If I have time tomorrow I will post pictures!
