MAYSON MICHAEL BLAKE
My son Mayson was born on April 19th 2008 at 8:04pm. It was a saturday evening and I finally delivered him 48 hours after my water broke and 9 1/2 hours after I was induced. Both boyfrind and my mother were in the room when Mayson was born and it was the most amazing experience of my life! Mayson is currently 15 weeks old and thriving well. I am exculsively breastfeeding and am blessed that I have not had to supplement with anything. I plan on introducing Mayson to eating cereal off the spoon now that he is 4 months old. I know he'll do well with it because he just loves eating! LOL. I'll add more updates later on.

Friday, 19 September That's great. When my boys were small I worked in a 24 hour daycare and loved it! That was about the only way I could afford to work. I got the first child free and the second one was half price and they took it right out of my paycheck. I only made $4.25 an hour back then, but daycare was only $36 for me. You sure can't get by that cheap now! Daniel is in the 9th grade this year and his lunch increased from $2.10 last year up to $2.25 per day this year. They serve breakfast too, but he eats breakfast at home.
I always loved kids and babies even when I was a little girl. It would be nice to home school Jonathan for many reasons. We live 20 miles from the school and the roads are really curvy so they're on the bus an hour each way. I always worry about putting them on the bus. Good talking to ya! ~Tracey amazintrace -
Thursday, 18 September Jonathan was born April 18th so Mayson is just one day younger. We should compare notes! amazintrace -

Monday, 15 September Thanks, Kekoa is a handful but a complete joy. He started walking at 8months and hasn't stopped moving. He now has five teeth and working on more. I feel for you. Waking up at night is awful. I can't wait until that is over. Good Luck with tonight! mommyxs3 -
Monday, 15 September Thanks...I needed that. I pumped a total of 8oz today. I'll be home in 2 hours so I'll feed her then. I know she's had about 3 oz so far but I haven't called to check on her afternooon bottle yet. I have formula in the house "just in case". I'm hoping she won't use everything I pumped over the weekend and I can start a stock. We'll see. I'm glad it went so well for you. Thank you so much for sharing. :) TigersMom -
Saturday, 13 September My son is the exact same way as yours. He is ahead of the curve in everything except sitting up by himself. He even rolled over at 4 weeks!! He just turned 5 months old on the 7th and he will sit up for a few seconds all the way slumped forward but then will topple over. Part of me wants to worry about it and when he'll do it and the other part says he'll do it when he's ready. Mayson is adorable, by the way! momoffive -
Saturday, 13 September Sam will be six months next week and just started sitting on his own (but is still a little bit wobbley) last week. My two girls sat on there own right about 4 months and my other son was closer to 6. It really varies by child and they still grow up to be very smart :-) 1blessedmomma -
Friday, 12 September Abram was starting to sit on his own when he was 4mos. old. He's great at it now and he'll be 6mos. on Wednesday. Hope this helps

Friday, 12 September Matthew started sitting up on his own when he was barely over 5 months. Lots of babies don't sit up on their own for several more months though. ericka28 -
Tuesday, 9 September Hey I just read your comment in breastfeeding and I think that sup. a bottle of formula would be fine just get your sitter to watch if he gets gassy or his tummy hurts. I did that with my first baby. We go to many hockey games and I never had enough breastmilk stored up for her so I would send formula and she was fine. Hope this helps all the best to ya

Thursday, 28 August Thanks for the reply. I did feed Ian first, followed by his bottle. He did great. In fact, I'm about to post a pic of his first bite! Your little Mayson is adorable and I love how you spell his name. chelle84 -
Thursday, 21 August my schedule- ha! i nurse when he cries lol but since i've been back to work it's been kinda hard to stay on a schedule. I try to feed when he does his hungry cry. We are going to try him on a schedule when he turns 4 months which is on the 30th of Aug. and start him on cereal. I can't wait- so your son is already eat fruits? How so? my baby's teeth hasn't come through yet- but i think he is teething. i didn't know you can start them on that so early. it's exciting isn't it : chelle84 -
