My husband and I have been together for just over 7 yrs, and weve been married for almost 1 1/2 yrs now. We found out we were pregnant in Nov and our due date is July 17, 08! We've chosen to go with a midwife.

On our first appointment we got to hear the babys heartbeat. It was 160. We just had our first ultrasound a couple weeks ago and we got to see our baby stand on its head, kicking and stretching around! It was the most amazing thing ever! Our next appointment is this coming Wed, Im looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again!

I just got back from my doctors appointment, and have found out that im about a week and a half further along than i though i was ! Wow.. so that puts my duedate to July 8, 2008. I was so shocked when i heard that,, but im closer to meeting our little one:) Heart rate was 150 today.

Our big ultrasound was on the Mar 6th. I was very nervous about it, but everything came back good! I was so happy! We also found out its a boy! He's weighing more than a pound.. My mom got to come to the midwifes with me today, she got to hear out little guys heartbeat again. It was at 152. The stomach measuring was 24, I was so excited to have my belly finally measured.. lol.. cant wait for it to still get bigger.

31 weeks today! I havent been on here for a while,, but i just had another appoint now,, its been every 2 weeks for the past month now,, which means im getting closer!! eekk.. Our little guys heartbeat was 130 today, i measured 32 weeks.. my recent bloodwork hasnt come back yet,, but im not worried about it. My first ultrasound i was told i had a low placenta,, but now its corrected itself,, so now i feel i can finally enjoy being pregnant! Im painting his dresser now, and the baby room is next,, bought the border Finding Nemo. I cant wait to see the end result :)

Our little guys heartrate is at 130 again. Things are going really well, Ive started to feel braxton hicks. Which makes me more and more nervous!! IVe also felt him hiccup twice :) at first i didnt know what it was. Ive got 4 more weeks of work left, so im really hoping that itll last atleast that long. My appointments are every week now! The baby room is almost all done, ill have to take a picture of it for my scrapbook.

Well i was sent in for a nonstress test, and things are looking good. I got to listen to his heartbeat for about 1/2 hr. It was soo cool to hear for that long. I started having very mild contractions the night before, but nothing big so i didnt worry about it. today I lost my Mucus plug, which is very very exciting!! Im hoping that things are starting becasue ill have to be induced if not. Went to the hospital this time for the test, and was checked and im 2 almost 3 cm dialated already. Just had to stop for a contraction,, which are getting stronger! eekkk.. nervous for the real thing! I was told if things dont progress the way i want ill be in for another ultrasound on friday and than another stress test. I want to hold out the longest until tuesday which is the full 2 weeks.

WOOO!!! thats a bloody big baby!!! you must be nackered!! well done for pushing for that long!! they wont let us push for more than an hour over here! so what did you call him!!? heres my birth story, was booked in for sunday at 8am but finally went into labour on my own at 3am and gave birth standing up!! he was born (after 30mins of pushing) at 9.14am weighing 9lb 2oz and we called him Elijah. im gonna write a full birth story in my blog so take a look!! xxx

what i thought was my mucus plug turned out to be ruptured hemariods!! there really painfull, midwife said its because hes so low now my back passage has moved up to make room! had a stretch and sweep yesterday, im 4 cm gone, and had a small show then, had another very hot bath last nite. can try sex again as plug has gone. im more focused than ever for sunday, i know he's not coming on his own now!! do you know when your gonna be induced?

nope still pregnant!! have had a stretch and sweep today, im 4cm dilated!! whahey!! still no contractions!!! but more show has come away!! we're nearlly there!! get them stronger by getting in a HOT bath and keep walking loads!! sitting slows them down! but youve probaley been told all this!! anyways will keep posted let me know when your going in or your out?? xxxx

I ate a hot madras last nite then had a hot bath then we had sex! and today (about 45 mins ago) my mucus plug came out!!! it filled the loo!!! and really red!!! its made me very excited!! have had some braxton hicks to day too!! which had stopped for a while, have midwife in the morning and she'll arrange a time to come do S&S, but dont know if they do it once the plug has come away? i had one (3 actually) with my 2nd daughter Summer, and it never worked as my cervix was to far to the side, it was very uncomfortable but they say it works for most people so its one of those things you'll have to get over and done with just incase it works. i know what you mean about your cervix hurting, think that means were dillating?!!

no still cooking!! have my induction book for sunday, so thats now the new count down! have just finished a hot curry and have run a hot bath , will even try sex if thats what it takes!!! am VERY uncomfortable!! hows you going? x

to be honest i feel like crap!! ive had broken if no sleep for 7 nites now and its not bump thats the problem! my head is racing with alsorts and my legs feel like there running a marathon!! ive also got a horrid cold and my nose streams like a river! just want him out now! not liking the idea of being over due again!! feel the baby blues creeping in too!

just got to get my head round the birth and focus on that......apart from that hows you!!!

yeah 2 days to go!!!!! im so ready now!! im getting the blues big time though! my daughters were both 12 days over due and im dreading going over again, i havent slept in 3 nites now and have a nasty cold! so could do with having him now!! hope your having it easy?

I had my first ultrasound when I was 13 weeks and 4 days. My due date was July 15 according to my last period but when I had that ultrasound it was moved to July 14. I had an ultrasound at 21 weeks and was told that the estimated due date according to the babys size is july 9. Now my dr is still going by my last period, of the july 15th due date, even though I told him it was a guess and I am measuring 2 weeks ahead and I know the exact day of conception. He isn't changing it, although I go by July 9 because I think that is more accurate. On top of it I might be induced early because I am getting so big. I still don't understand why he wont just change the due date!!! Good luck and remember, the due dates are just a guess anyways, your baby will come when it is ready. :)

If i went by my last period my due date is supposed to be June 23rd, I went for an u/s a little over 12weeks and they moved it to July 3rd... then at my 20 week u/s they wanted to move it even further out to the 6th and then said they'll just keep me at the 3rd.. I asked can't i just be having a smaller baby?? Never had any other u/s jus those two.. my belly measures exactly 36weeks which thats what I am so maybe they were right with the July 3rd but she'll come when she comes.. babies are never due on their due date.. lol
