Hi, how are you? WOW you get 52 weeks, here in the US, I only get 6-8 wks, but I might take the whole year. part of the year will be w/o pay. I will go back to work at week 36 and work for about 3 weeks, I am going to stay as long as I can.
My bf says that he wants to be here 100%, but we still get into arguments because he's not here all the time, it's frustrating. anyway, he will have to put the baby on his insurance at least for the first year. He came over for the weekend to take the pictures.

Hi, how are you? I am doing good almost 31 weeks, can't wait!! anyway, I am not working, Im a school teacher and I go back to school in 5 weeks. then I will be taking some time off. how much time to you have off from work?
Also, are you having a baby shower? my shower is on August 16th. After that I will be making sure that I have all of the baby things organized and ready for his arrival.

Hi how are you!?? I have a lot of weight to gain too, are u taking any birth classes, I will be taking one on august 2nd, all day. Anyhow, my pregnancy is going great. I don't get much sleep due to my small bladder now LOL, but I don't get any pains. I don't know how to get comfy during pregnancy. It's so hard to try to find the right position to sleep in, the doctor says I should sleep on my side, but I hate it. how r u sleeping?

Hi, how are you feeling in the 3rd trimester. I haven't bought anything yet, I will have a shower on the 16th of August and then I will go shopping if I need anything else.
Are you using bio-oil for ur belly, I find that works well.

Oh I am SOO tired today, yuck!! Friday is actually my last day of working for 6 months!! I told you that I was only getting 6 weeks off, we'll now I am going through a layoff so will get unemployment for six months!? Couldn't have come at a better time! My feet haven't started swelling yet which shocks me because by the way they feel sometimes, they should look it! It's getting a lot hotter here too and I notice I don't want to do a lot of anything

Anyway, that's good that u won't be working after Aug. 15, I have to go back to work on the 25th of August, we will be 36 weeks pregnant then. I get 6 weeks off and 12 if I decide to take it, I haven't written my letter for maternity leave cause I haven't decided. Im guessing I will go with the 12 weeks.
I feel so bored not having to get up in the morning to go to work. it's a weird feeling, I just spent the day relaxing and chatting with women here. tomorrow I will be getting together with other teachers for an end of the year party. Can't wait - my colleague has a 3 month old girl, she must be so cute. TTYL.

I'm not scared of the birth...more about the baby :) I had a pregnancy 10 years ago when I was a teen and my daughter was adopted, so I have been through the process and it was bad, but not that bad, so I'm ok with that part..it's the unknown part that has me curious :)

Hi, how are you? I only have one more day until school is out YAY!! I can't wait. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that my BF was here this past weekend, he left yesterday:-(. There is a picture on my page that we took yesterday, take a look. We had a nice weekend together. I will not be driving to Canada and we will probably see each other in a couple of weeks. I don't like the idea, but that's the way our lives are right now.

What do you mean gas and air? Very interesting. I have been thinking about water birth a lot. I tour our room next month, so I'll ask my questions then. I told my midwife that I want to go natural, but have the meds on hand if I chose to.

it is scary to think that someone so little can be so costly.
If B/F doesn't support me I will be returning to work at the end of January. I'd rather stay with my little one, but financially won't be able to if bf doesn't give me full support.
I received a stroller at my shower yesterday from co-workers!! They are GREAT! That was my first shower, I added a couple of pictures to my VIP page, take a look at my new body, LOL. it's so scary to think that just 6 months ago I was thinner and now Im carrying my little one with me everywhere I go. The more gifts I receive for him the more I want to hold him in my arms, I can't wait.

Hi, as far as a cot and a pushchair.....well, we don't purchase things like that here. not that I know of. I will just be admitted to the hospital and deliver there. I will get an epi, I want as little pain as possible.
I had a shower at work today. It was wonderful, I received lots of gifts, gift cards and a jogger stroller which I've always wanted. I cant wait to see my boy and put all these nice clothes on him:)
I have 5 days left to work and I go back when we are 36 weeks because of insurance purposes. I like the schedule you have better, to work through til august and then have the rest of the year off, but it doesn't work like that at my job. Because of insurance reasons I have to start the school year and go to work until I give birth. I wish I could stay out for the year, but I don't have the financial support to do that.
I am guessing I have one more shower in the summer with my family, I can't wait for that one!!! lots of loved ones and friends.

Thanks for the tip on what to eat. I was looking for a way to retain the water and not have to go.
By the way, I started using bio oil, it's great. SMELLS GOOD, WORKS GOOD & FEELS GOOD! The palmers was ok for the first couple of weeks, but now that my bump is bigger I needed something stronger.
The bump pictures were taken on Saturday, i would like to take a full pic, but I did those myself.
so, how are you feeling?? almost 25 weeks, I can't believe it.

Hi, how are you?? I am not worried about resting, Im more worried about having to go to the bathroom every hour, my bladder has shrunk - don't u feel that way? everything's bigger except for the bladder LOL! I may plan to leave the morning of June 18th. my family doesn't think it's a good idea, but I think I can do it:-) have a great weekend.

Thanks for the comment on my little boy. I have a monthly appt tomorrow which I have to reschedule because I have a retirement party at 3:15 for the retirees at my school district. I can't believe only 16 weeks to go YAY!!!!
by the way, I am planning on driving to Canada on the 18th of this month to see BF. He doesn't think it's a good idea to drive 5 hours alone, I think I will be ok if I leave in the morning. I want to see montreal and it might be our last time to be away somewhere together alone. LOL!

Hi, I just finished napping LOL. my mom says take advantage of all the naps now LOL. My bf and I haven't sorted things out, but he is being supportive, we spent a nice weekend together. It's just difficult for me to be going through most of this by myself.
We researched last night that women in week 24 have braxton-hicks contractions. I think that's what I have but I will ask the doctor any way. Have you felt any contractions? check this website for information: http://www.ahealthyme.com/topic/falselabor#s3
according to this site, the contractions are normal.
