Hello, my name is Kimberly and I have been together with my husband Matt 11 years 1996. We are high school sweethearts ! We have been married since 2003. We suffered a miscarriage in 2003. It took me a while to get over that. Then it just tumbled from there. Sad story I lost a loving grandfather 3/12/04, and then my loving daddy 10/12/04. Then this past 5/6/07 My whole world closed in on me when I found out my beautiful, so lovable brother Christopher passed away. So two months after that I knew something was going on when my breasts started to hurt so bad and I was late for my period. I took a test and not even 30 seconds two pink lines showed up. I didn't believe it so I took another test and then I still didn't believe it until I went to see my ob/gyn!!!! WOW I am pregnant what a journey this has been. I love being pregnant. I was really hoping for a boy, because of all the men now gone and up in heaven, but I'm so thrilled to be bringing in a little girl by the name of Kayla Christiana into this world. When I had the miscarriage in 2003 I was 12 weeks pregnant and I really thought I was carrying a girl. Well here she comes...

Sometimes I get worried when Kaeden sleeps too much too, but all the books say babies need around 16 hours sleep at this age. Also, I thought Kaeden was sleeping a lot more than he actually was because I forgot to figure in that all the time he spent eating, crying and getting diapers changed was also awake time, not just the times he was playing.

Thanks for the well wishes! How was your mothers day? My little one may have allergies passing thru my milk so I spent mine eating a milk free, soy free, nut free, egg free, fish/shellfish free, citrus free, grain free, gluten free diet. He's been having green slimy poopy with blood for weeks now & they cant figure out why, so this is an effort on the allergy front. I'm worried sick, plus the dr. said if its not better soon I'm going to have to stop nursing & give him one of those predigested formulas. I know plenty of people formula feed & I have nothing against it, but I just love nursing so much that I've already cried about it repeatedly. I hope things are going better for you. I haven't been on much to read the boards so I dont really know whats happening.

Hi, Thanks for the nice message. Jacob and I are having a good day, a good week so far. He seems to be back to his old self and is taking a nap right now. I'm not surprised Kayla isn't too into her gym yet. I have a feeling that all of the toy ideas I had for Jacob may not have been the greatest ideas. I think he's going to be a simple kind of kid who is amused by basic things around the house rather than some of the flashy toys that I like. I wanted that Rainforest bouncer for him so much and I got it and he doesn't even like the waterfall on it. His floor gym is Rainforest also and it's still in the box.
Things with my husband are fine now. He gets into depressed moods, I get into depressed moods and then we are usually able to snap out of things eventually. So much depends on my husband's diabetes and blood sugar levels too. His moods. My moods are hereditary. You do have reason to be sad during this time with the loss of your brother. It's only been a year. I would feel the same if I lost my sister or either of my parents.
Uh oh, I'm hearing sounds on the monitor, so the nap may have come to an end. He enjoys his swing and classical CD way more than I expected. I'd better go. He's awake for sure.

Awww, she is a cutie. The handprint turned out great- not an easy task I know! I did Leah's handprint too but it is not very clear because I had to hold her hand open. I even waited until she was asleep and had my oldest son help me but she didn't make it easy for us.

You will definitely be in my thoughts tomorrow. It probably isn't post partum depression you are feeling. I notice that I am having feelings of sadness as well but they are in no way related to Devyn. I adore her and everything about her and have no negative thoughts towards her. I just feel blue about other things. Which makes me think it is just the regular old type of depression. Just try to take it easy. Don't dwell on the bad tomorrow, just remember all the good times. Your pictures are adorable! Whenever I try to upload pictures I just get a black square and they don't work. It is driving me crazy. Do you have facebook? I have millions of pictures on there if you want to see. Also I wouldn't mind an easier way to chat.
Anyways remember to rest and relax tomorrow, to take care of yourself and to try to remember the good tomorrow. Although it will be a hard day Kayla still needs her mommy. I will keep you in my prayers
