Monday, 5 May Hi, I was wondering if they used Cytotec to induce your labor. I've heard awful things about this drug.

Monday, 5 May Hi, I know it would have been great to have your brother meet Kayla. You will have to tell her about him as she grows up. Tell her stories about him so that she'll feel like she knew him too. My mom's dad died 6 months before she was born and then her mom died when she was 7. When I was born, my mom had terrible depression as did my grandma when she was born. My mom was sad that her kids would never know her mom, but she was sad that she didn't know her mom much either or her dad at all. You've had some sad losses over the last few years. I hope that with Kayla's arrival it is the beginning of many happy times ahead for you. 1hotmooma -

Thursday, 1 May Hey girl! I had Garrett in the ER because of concerns with weazing and skipping breaths. Turns out the weazing was just remnants of milk settling in his throat which is very normal apparently. Also, their nasal passages aren't fully formed. Hopefully that is all that is going on with Kayla. I hope things are going good other than that. We are doing pretty good here. Just sleepy! Take care! tlhugs -
Thursday, 1 May Hi, I was reading your comment on the forum page and I though I would offer u some advice..My daughter was small and not eating enough..she was bottle fed. I tried the stage 2 nipples and it turned out she was sucking so hard on the stage 1 nipples that she was falling asleep..once I changed her nipple ..she was about 3 weeks old she instantly drank 2 more oz very quickly..poor thing was hungry..I told my doctor what I had done and he said I did the right thing. The only thing I did differently when feeding her is keep her upright a liitle more because they flowed quicker and I did not want her to choke...I hope this helps....congrats on your new addition momi08 -
Wednesday, 30 April my baby makes strange noises with his nose and chest. i thought something was wrong but the pediatrician said that newborns make that noise because they aren't developed yet and their windpipes and nasal passages aren't mature. I'm sure she will be fine.. especially since she is going to the doctor. good luck. mom2boy -
Wednesday, 30 April Sometimes Jamison makes piggy snorting noises when he eats, like he is congested. My dr said this is normal. I am not sure if it is the same thing you are going through or not but I hope this helps. Jo-Mama -
Wednesday, 30 April I hope everything is OK with your sweet Kayla. Hopefully the doctors you have will be helpful and supportive. Keep happy and focus on the god things. Just keep loving her up as much as you can and things will work out. imommy2be -

Sunday, 27 April Hi sweetie! Glad to hear all is well with you and Kayla! Leah is great. She also lost weight. She was 7.1 at birth, then 6.14, then 6.10, then 6.15 at one week, and 7.3 at 2 weeks. Doctor said it was fine, but would have liked to see her at 7.6. So they told me to keep supplementing her with formula after giving her her "breasties" She readily accepts both, but I have been doing just bottles in the middle of the night because I am sleep deprived and it saves time. I cry a couple of times a day-I cry to Sean "what if we slipped down the steps and dropped her!" I will cry easily-wondering if I am making enough milk, etc. Sometimes I start laughing in the middle of crying because I realize that my hormones are out of whack now. I have heard Leah wheeze or make some sort of nasal sound-usually when she is on her stomach laying on us- doctor said this was normal- but I think that you are talking about a wheeze from her lung- what I have heard in Leah is nasal. How's your incision? My crotch is much better- I tore a bit when she came out-they used forceps because my epidural really numbed me and it was hard to push her past crowning. I have to go back to work in 3 weeks-I will work 5 days one week and 4 the next. When my car is paid off in 6 months, I will go to 4 days a week. Talk to you soon............. lets-manga -

OMG she is beautiful...congrats! Its amazing isnt it? Just amazing we made these babies in our tummies... Jo-Mama -
Thursday, 24 April We always knew deep down that she was a girl - and we were right! Everything is going well. Malone has some gas issues which is no fun for anyone, but luckily it only causes trouble for about 3 hours a day. Then she's a good baby who takes lots of naps and eats well. But man oh man, those fussy hours are rough. It's not every day and it's not even the same time of day each time, but when it hits, yowza, it is really hard to deal with.
Have you heard anything from nrd06? I know she has her baby, but I haven't seen her on here yet. I've been lucky - my MIL is here (has been for 10 days) and that gives me time to chat. But she leaves today! I hope I can still manage to find time to chat with everyone. I need a daily dose of Mommas! March -
Thursday, 24 April Hey - Luke was 9 pounds 3 ounces at birth, 8 pds 11 ounces when we left the hospital, then like 8 pounds 6.5 ounces 2 days later then at two weeks back up to 9 pounds and a half ounce - so not quite his birth weight at two weeks. After that he started gaining fast and was 11 pounds 9.5 ounces at 5 weeks. you sound relatively similar in pattern tio that! Jo-Mama -
Thursday, 24 April Malone was 7lb9oz, dropped to 7 lb by day 3, was back up to birth weight by day 5, then weighed 8 whopping pounds by day 9. She'll get weighed again tomorrow. She eats a ton - more like 3 or 4 oz every two hours. She's wearing size 1-2 diapers now and next week I'm starting to use cloth.
I lov that she's healthy but I'm so sad that I've already had to start a bag of clothes that she has grown out of. Boo hoo, she's growing up. 1hotmooma -
Wednesday, 23 April Hey hunny!!! Sorry its been awhile since i've been online. How are you and Ms Kayla doing? She is beautiful! Tuesday, 22 April hey kim! how ya been stranger? hows kayla?? babyat39 -
Monday, 21 April Hi Kim,
How's everything going? Leah is great-of course she sleeps a lot, only wakes up twice during the night to nurse. We worried so much and our babies are perfect. If we have other babies we probably wont worry as much because we will know what to expect. Although each pregnancy is different. Are you getting enough rest? I'm used to not having too much sleep because my last month or two of pregnancy I had a lot of trouble sleeping. It's weird how food tastes different now and the belching and heartburn are gone. I love having Leah here, but I loved being pregnant. Hmmmmm.....................................
