Hi my name is Rosa. My Husband is Michael! This is our first baby! We were engaged on May 20, 2007, married November 10, 2007, I graduated from college December 15, 2007 and on April 24, 2008 we found out we were pregnant! (Needless to say it's been a busy year!) We've been together for almost 6 years and married for a little over 1 year! We had only been trying to concieve for about 2 months and BAM, there the BFP was! I consider us to be blessed because I know how hard most people try. This is truly an amazing gift from God and I couldn't be more happy to be this baby's Mom! My Husband has done anything and everything to make me comfortable and to make sure we're doing the right things for this baby before it even gets here. I am so amazed at how wonderful this man is. It melts my heart to see my Husband rub, read and kiss my ever growing belly! I have a step- daughter so I already know he's a great Father! I look forward to this adventure with my friends and family and wish nothing but the best for you ladies and babies out there!!

April 24, 2008 = Positive Pregnancy Test!

May 15, 2008 = 1st prenatal visit, saw Baby's heartbeat on Ultrasound!

June 12, 2008 = Saw big Baby bouncing around on Ultrasound (h/b 160bpm)

July 14, 2008 = Heard Baby's Heartbeat on the doppler (160 bpm)

July 27, 2008 = Mommy felt Baby movement for the first time!

August 13, 2008 = Saw Baby on Ultrasound, IT'S A BOY!!

August 15, 2008 = Daddy feels kicks from the outside for the first time!

August 23, 2008 = We did the Baby registry!

September 7, 2008 = Started painting the Baby's room!

September 13, 2008 = Finished painting and putting up the Baby bed.

September 22, 2008 = Took one hour glucose test and failed :(

September 25, 2008 = Didn't feel baby move for some time so I went to Labor and Delivery.

October 1, 2008 = Took 3 hour glucose test and PASSED!

October 20, 2008 = Mommy and Daddy start Lamaze class!

October 22, 2008 = Saw my big 3lb 11oz BABY BOY on the ultrasound, chubby cheeks and cute chin!

October 25, 2008 = Aunt Angie throws Mommy a Surprise BABY SHOWER!!

November 10, 2008 = Mom and Dad finish Lamaze and celebrate their ONE year anniversary!

November 13, 2008 = Mom and Dad finish my Nursery!

Oh my goodness- you are a much saner woman that I!! If Steve tried to tell me I could not have an induction because he is against it, I just might kill him!! Maybe I am selfish, but being that I am the one suffering through all this and the one that has to get the baby out, I am calling the shots.

I'm sure you are progressing and will be done SOON. So exciting!!!

HEY EVERYONE!! im so sorry i havent kept you updated..i havent had a laptop my dad took it to get worked on..anyways..GREAT NEWS..they let me out for CHRISTMAS!! i was REALLY surprised being 6cm dilated (which is pretty much considered labor) but anyways..im still on strict bed rest..oh & COLBY came home for christmas!! he has REALLY changed his act..its incredible! its honestly an answer from God..he wont be back for good until march but they did tell him he can come home when brax is born.

!! i go back to the doctor on monday & ill probably be induced next week (if hes not here yet) thats what the doctor said so im praying he wouldnt tease me & take his word back!! ill keep everyone posted..i hope you all had a wonderful christmas! thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers!! i couldnt do this without yall! you all are so good to me

Well, if you notice, a lot of mine are extreme close ups... the more I practice taking pictures the more I notice details. If I were to take scenery shots all the time, you'd see a lot of boring parking lots, etc.

Doing good! I am enjoying a month break from school, but realizing how much I have to do still! I have been having A LOT of contractions these last few days. I was in the hospital on the 10th for monitoring. Apparently I have an irritable uterus- translation: I am pretty much contracting all the time! So I feel a rush to get everything ready just in case she decides to come early. She is measuring big, and feels so much larger than my almost 9 pound son did, so I have a feeling she will be a big girl! What is your doc saying about your approaching due date???

Thanks Babydel for your kind advice. I do have to think about everything. We bought a new house this year and this baby is due any day now. but I don't know what is better, being married and constantly feeling alone or letting it go. If i believe he will change, I might give him another chance but honestly I don't think he will. he will probably do it again and again.
