This is our first baby. We were surprised to be pregnant, but we are super thrilled. We got pregnant right after our wedding and after packing up everything and moving 2000 miles to another country. Its been a great adventure and I LOVE sharing all of this with my best friend.
Here are just some fun predictions I did...
The online test I took said I had an 83 % chance of having a girl
JustMommies predicted this for my labor...
Just about the time you think you can't handle hearing one more "when is that baby going to pop?", your baby will decide to make it's appearance. We predict your baby will be born 3-7 days before its due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.5 pounds and that your labor will be about 15 hours long.

Yes, we are expecting a girl too!! So excited....I first could swear I was having a boy...so much for mother's intuition!! LOL
I am having so much frun with all the lil girl stuff!!!
So, I am on bed rest due to a short cervix...now I am having contractions and effacing...so I am on medicine to stop them. I see a Perinatal specialist every week to monitor my cervix.
That is terible about the gestational diabetes...are you on pills or shots?? How are you feeling?

Congratulations to you!!! We were married in July 07 and found out we must have gotten prego on our honeymoon or one week after that!! HAHA!!! You have so much stuff for your little girl already! Do you have a name picked out?

I posted Gavin's birth story...I'll get pics up later today. We have a long day ahead, though...gotta take Gavin to the pediatrician and run a couple of errands. Gavin and I are both doing well...I'm sore and bruised...LOL. But considering he was 10lb. 1oz. and 22 inches long, I SHOULD be sore. Had a rough labor this time, too. But anyway, I'll try to do some more individual writing later and post pics...in the meantime, check out the birth story!

Thank you so much Kendra! I knew you'd be excited!! I'm sooooo sorry you have the GD! I had heard that you were still waiting on the results of the test but that you'd had a bad feeling about them... I'm sorry! Dont stress it tho, think of it as the first gift you can give your little girl... (taite is what I'm hoping for!). You only have a few months left of being a hardcore good mommy and then you can just PIG OUT! lol. Anyway, hope things are going well for you. I miss talking to you too! John says hi and thanks for being so supportive over the last several months. He's heard a ton about you too and knows you by both babyg and kendra. lol. Anyway, can't wait to have her now that Daddy can be here too! Have a good one and let me know what's new with you!

Everything is going pretty good over here. I go this week to get the blood test. I haven't gained to much. I am a little scared to go get this test done though. A lot of people on this site failed the test! I don't really eat bad, and not that much sugar either!

I really dont wanna get too into it right now because I literally can't, but this is NOT a good day... The dr appt went really well and we picked a date for next week, but we were about 5 hrs too late... John got transferred to a DOC facility at 4am this morning, making it impossible for the judge to grant him the furlough since it's out of his jurisdiction now.... Basically, there's no way John can come home AT ALL. Not only that, but where he is now they dont even get to use the phone... he'll be there for anywhere from 10 days to 45 days (who knows...) until he'll be transferred to his DOC location... This sucks for soooo many reasons, mostly being that he wont even know when she's born because we can't have any communication... he's probably sitting there now wondering if today was the day... he'll have no clue... I've been a crying wreck all day because not only did things not go as planned, but they got worse than they were even supposed to. This shouldn't have even been an issue. We were told he would not be transferred! and to boot, we were only less than 5 hours too late... I am trying so hard to keep faith and believe that this is all happening for a reason, but it's taking all I have not to break down... My mom will be my labor coach whenever I go into labor... I'm canceling my induction b/c it's pretty pointless at this point. He will get to meet her for the first time in a few months I suppose... I dunno... Well, I can't talk much more without breaking down again so I better go. Hope you're doing well and I'll make sure I say hi next time I'm on... not sure when that'll be tho cuz I dont much feel like talking to anyone right now. Have a good night.

hey ya big jerk... where'd you go? I had to leave chat cuz no one i liked was in there and the new ppl were boring.. lol. anyway, missed you today. no baby yet- still waiting. but we found out some hopefully good news today!! I'll tell ya all about it tomorrow. But basically, John will hopefully get to come home in 48 hours!!!! it's not for sure yet, but I'm prob gonna be induced either Sun or Tues. if sun he'll be home friday night or early sat morning. if Tuesday he'd be home either Sun night or Mon morning! :-) anyway, I'm hoping it all works out. It's not for sure he's even coming home at all, but PROBABLY! :-) Kendra- i might get to kiss my husband in 48 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha. I cant stop smiling!! :-) well talk to you tmorrow. I'll get on during the day k? Goodnight!
